Eating a can of tuna and some cucumber(it was all I had left-have cleaned out the fridge-yeah like there was so much in there!!!
Actually I'm getting to like it again--it's ok with things chopped up in it!!!!!!!!!!

Agreed!!! tuna IS better with something chopped up in it!

I used to make these yummy tuna pattys (and they are low carb). I would mince up a smidge of green and red pepper, and celery, and add a little mayo to the mix. I would form it into a burger and fry on a non-stick pan. The mayo helped sear the patty nice and crispy. Soooooo good. Thats going on my refeed menu!

I just keep saying to myself I want to be thin more than anything else--like at the beginning--like you--I wanted to lose the weight more than anything--something just clicked---and I didn't cheat once until around November!! I think I had about 2 or 3 planned cheats--on hols and for my birthday!! But God I wish I had that willpower now!!! You're right, we get kind of comfy and think well one choc bar or whatever is not gonna make a difference!! (but it does!)
And you know the really weird thing I actually felt "thinner" last Summer!!

turkey and chicken will be a nice treat!

I'll keep my eyes closed, when I go near the bread...

i forgot to mention it will snap, crackle pop when its cooking. Wear long sleeves and safety goggles. Dont cover it either or else it wont get crispy!!! you can add some cheddar cheese too.

It sure does make a difference! Maybe not in the way our jeans fit but it can totally mess with our brains!!!!

I wish you didnt feel that way. You should be so proud and happy with yourself now! but I totally understand... I weigh less now than I did when I got married, but I felt better about myself then. sigh.. I will say though that this past April i was feeling at the top of the world! Im slowly climbing back up there!! can someone give me a boost?

And another whine!!!!Then I'll shut up,promise!!! But you know in the last year I have only lost 2-3 dress sizes.. how crap is that?? yeah I know better than none but still--and with all that exercise!!!
Last August I was a US 8. Now I'm a 4---on top mostly a 2, sometimes a 4. Slow slow slow!!!!

I think its amazing and commendable that you stayed strong and didnt gain it all back! slow does suck though..

oooooo I never had rice krispie buns. I've made rice krispy treats w/ butter and marshmellows.

Yeah I wish I did feel good about the loss--I do obviously--I just want more!! It's not even the weight on the scale--I feel like such a fraud wearing small clothes--I am def not thin and I wonder why I can wear them. I take Ms into the changing rooms and have to go back for Ss and XSs--I just don't get it-- I feel like I'll go into a shop and the assistant will go you'll never fit in that--take a 10 or 12. I think my brain just stopped at those sizes.

Ok rambling over!!!!!!!!

You should feel on top of the world!! You look absolutely fantastic in a bikini!! I think Im2 wrote it---but yeah they do look like magazine shots!!! You really have a lovely figure!!!

Oh Al--I will never ever gain it back!! i can honestly say that! --yeah maybe a couple of pounds, sometimes---but I will never go back to that weight again. I have made that promise to myself. It wasn't that it was that hard to lose (yeah I know I whinged a lot--but really it wasn't that bad) but being that huge was---I think one of the best things about losing the weight (apart from the clothes! he!) is that now I feel "invisible"--and it feel good---if that makes any sense at all!!

GT, did you lose it all on Stillman's? Your loss is so remarkable!! You have better results that WLS...or any diet drug I've heard of! What an inspiration you are!
I'm about 5'6" and I can't imagine being your size! When I get in the 160's people start telling me I've lost enough...you must look like a super model! : )

Hi everyone! I've caught upon the reading and love the posts! You all are so encouraging and it gives me some hope yet. Today is Day 2 and I will do better than yesterday. Had too many carbs sneaking in. I know there are carbs in the fruit punch water flavoring, but I just cannot drink water w/o it. Will I still lose on QWL???? I didn't lose anything from yesterday. I know I'm gonna keep weighing every day until I see a loss show up.

I've had turkey bacon and plan on chops later....lots of chops! Family is having beef stew today. That's ok bc I really don't care for it much. I'll have bacon again later for a snack.

Getting a hair cut at 6pm today. Part of my dd's interview for a new job. I can't wait! I need a new hairdo! LOL

Oh people have asked if I've had WLS--gotta say really nasty (German!)coworkers who reckon there's no way you could lose that much without it! And keep saying things like "you can tell me". It doesn't help that you eat so little and have so little appetite on QWL!!
I lost it on the 14day plan---the one that allows a few veggies!!! (what I've gone back to now!) I stuck with that until around May last year and then dropped the veggies. I stuck with QWL until around April this year. Couldn't stick the dizzyness any longer!!!

Ok peeps!! I'm packed, tanned (or at least I will be in the morning!!), toe and fingernails are painted (well a girl's gotta make an effort for her man!), you could eat your chicken off the bathroom floor, cell is all charged up and boarding cards are all printed!!!
And after all that I'm having tea!!!

My fridge and freezer are STOCKED! Picked up 6 pounds of ground beef and 6 pounds ground turkey, 24 chicken breasts, 16 thin porkchops, 2 pounds of stew meat, 8 ouches of albacore tuna, and some catfish!

.... and a bunch of unmentionables for the kids. I love warehouse shopping!

I have never had catfish..Im going to pam up my skillet and sprinkle it with salt, pepper and I have no idea....
