hello! I really had some reading to do! This is my first day of eating all meat. Here I go! I sure hope this works. Does everyone just stick to eating all meat or does anyone rotate between meat and the fruit and veggies? What works best?
Raining here like crazy today so I'll be on here a whole lot. AND I'm home with just my son. My dd and hubby went to my MIL's to visit. I didn't go bc my back is hurting more than usual and I just want to take it easy today. Went to WalMart last night and bought more meat for the week and my WalMart brand CL. Yep, I use it! LOL I cannot drink plain water. It just has no taste! hehe So far I've eaten Turkey bacon, 5 slices. I'm having burgers later. Maybe two of them. I'll bake some chicken breasts for tomorrow. Mmmmm

France? Wow! I'd love to go there! I lived in Berlin, Germany back in 1984-88. I loved it there! The wall was still up then. A city that never sleeps. I went to different parts of Germany, but not to other countries. I wish I would've.

One reason I cycle between QWL and maintenance is because I really do think you need some of those other foods in addition to meat. I don't want to mess up my metabolism any worse than it is. Truth is: QWL is meant to be a Quick Weight Loss! Whether some of us stay on it longer is a matter of choice for whatever reasons, whether lack of control, ease of food choices, wanting better loss, you name it. The important thing is to do what works without damaging the body God gave you. QWL is healthy in that it allows some of us to achieve some level of loss that will encourage us to keep losing, even if that loss is slow overall. We can see progress!! Kimkins was an untested, unscientific bastardization of Stillmans for the sole purpose of making Heidi rich. And she lied to us to get rich! I believe there are still ongoing lawsuits out there because she is still trying to scam people into her method. So sad. Stillmans is free and it works!![]()

Siesta!!!!
I just had the most wonderful grilled boneless pork loin, marinated with Allegro and topped with mozzarella. Brown rice and quinoa on the side, and lots of fresh tomatoes. Water Water Water! I know this is not very low carb but it's good food and I can feel the sugars leaving my system. Of course I'm trying to help it along with CO. Lost two pounds overnight by just eating good stuff and drinking water, so I assume most of these six pounds are water. I'm hoping to pee out another couple pounds tomorrow, and maybe start QWL on Tuesday or Wednesday. Right now, I need to catch up on a little sleep.....just a short nap.....zzzzzzz......zzzz |

Christine,
Yes! Yes! Yes! Stillman's is the most satisfying, cheapest, fastest method of weight loss I've ever tried. (And I've tried a bunch of 'em.) I love STILLMAN's!!! ![]() ![]() ![]() AL and GT, you are right...I'm turning into a CL addict!! Especially since I use a little of it to get my CO down! I started STillman's on June 13...and quickly noticed my BM's were getting few and far between...like 2 maybe 3 a week. Since I started 4 TBS of CO a day...(Four days ago)...I've had a BM EVERY DAY!! Sistahs...lemme tell ya...I'm SOLD on CO!!! ![]() ![]() ![]() (Sorry if that was TMI!:blush |

that WILL be a miracle lol - I really don't feel anything special that way, but the arch support is just grand, been walking in them all day, on my feet a lot - and even though my ankle is quite swollen by now (that will go on for a year or more) it isn't painful. I think Yam must be away for a bit, she may never see my post, I'll have to pm her. Really it was a godsend for me.

I'm doing pretty good for Day 1. I had a chicken breast and about to go have me a couple hamburgers. Can I have ketchup? Its not LC though. Maybe I'll just have 'em plain. Thats ok. |

Tammy- I agree with GT. Although Stillman allows ketchup in small amounts, most of us try to stay away. The more unprocessed and plain you keep your meats, the better results will be. Its tough, but it works! You will see dramatic results by weeks end- promise. I sure wish you liked mustard. It kept me going strong in the beginning, and eventually I didnt need any condiments anymore.
My hair was so much better with just meat! Thicker, shinier, healthier! I have noticed some minor loss in the last few weeks but I have been on and off plan. I have the carbs to blame! ![]() |

one more thing Tammy...Heinz makes a low carb ketchup if you need it, or you could try making your own! there is a recipe on the Stillmans Recipe site.
(I am still stumped over why ketchup is allowed, but not a tomato! My garden finally produced 2 red ones. Thankfully hubby ate them last night. |
