Oh Becky - you are so right!! I can tell every time when I stop weighing it's because I am on a downward slide.

You must have been watching me.....cuz I got on and off the scale three or four times in a matter of 5 minutes! What an obsession I have!!!

AL - I am guilty.........it's been regular pb lately. A couple of weeks ago it was the all natural kind...then I slipped into the regular stuff again.

I think on the forums ******* would encourage people to keep going lower in calories...she would encourage fasting for a long time...she also recommended laxatives.
You probably heard how she posted pics of herself...that were not really her but from some Russian Girls site...******* is quite overweight.

It's such a weird story!

She sounds like a very manipulative, dishonest person.

I did pay I think, $35.00 or so to be a member, but I never really did her plan.

I can't log in anymore...I think she purged LCF members...

But you are right, her plan is much like QWL...
There are lots of horror stories about people who followed her advice and suffered from it.

I want to be the girl who eats toast with jelly in the morning with coffee and fruit, some grapes or a handleful of nuts for snack, a turkey sandwich on whole wheat w/o mayo and lots of lettuce with an apple w/ natural PB, or some carrot sticks, and whatever a sensible dinner is. meat and veggies or salad, with a 1/2 cup of ice cream for dessert. This is how a skinny person would eat, right?

I have never ever made it through a day like this, but this may be my goal...as soon as I get back to 115, Im gonna try it.

the alternative diet the skinny girl can eat is MEAT! We prove it each and every week!

Who's in for a round of "drop those pounds"???? Eat meat. As much as you want.. no carbs included..Come on. We can do this! I'm gonna lose 10 by tomorrow! High hopes! Positive energy!! Wishful thinking doesnt hurt!

hey. .peanut butter fans! Have you tried the Powdered Peanut butter? I used to use it when i was doing WW PB 2 by bell plantation. I think netrition has it It has 85% less fat. .carbs are 3.4 G but if you are really addicted and needed a booste. it can help. . .I used to sprinkle some in my coffee. .makes wonderful smoothies.. I bet you could mix it with the Co Bark and have an interesting treat..

Just throwing that out there for those of you who are doing maintenance! We have to remember that maintenance allows carbs.. but you have to learn the ladder effect!

Exactly! Plus when doing pure QWL, I have such a hard time getting my calories about 800 anyway, so the added CO really isn't harmful, calorie-wise.

I'm always posting 'stuff' yet my successes have been so few.. .However, I just think of the alternative. If I do not log in.. I lose control. .Its like an addiction. (are you listening, Al? You know what happens when you go AWOL). . Anyway.. Al, this is what I was just thinking, that maybe you're problem isn't the carbs or the things you're eating but your portion control?? For instance... today, if you're not committed to QWL, keep a very close eye on everything you eat, write it all down and then input it in ******, or just check the labels and see how many calories you've actually consumed, and where you should be for a person of your weight. I have hope that I'll be able to eat some good carbs after I lose the weight, and maintain... But I know my problem is portion control and that is what I need to battle. Of course it doesn't help that some of those carbs cause more cravings, but I also have that syndrome where it's like okay, off plan, what's my next meal. ha.

yep. .I actually read up on the ******* diet too. . lots of info out there.. I can't believe her website is still active. It just goes to show that people will do anything to lose weight!

Al! Isn't it amazing that you have lived for a year the LC weigh? If anyone would have told me I'd be eating meat for the past year. . I would have thought they were crazy. I remember checking into this diet thinking. .well . I'll try it for a week or two and see what happens. .Little did I know. .my new addiction!! I intend to kick my butt into gear. . This is our year to shine!

portion control is exactly my problem! Even with just meat! I have always pounded back the food and drinks! Great suggestion to write everything down. I think it was IM2 that said she thinks twice about what shes eating cause ya dont want to see the bad stuff on paper. I have not kept a journal since I hit 120 pounds...very good suggestions. I needed that!

and I have to post. and post and post!
