It is so hot here that there is no cold tap water. It is warm. I've been freezing some cl in my drink bottles and adding water as I drink it. In this weather it is not hard to get my water in!

glad you like them, gals...no driving and use the sugar free mixer!
Mim, I get that way all the time, I think I want to eat and then don't. I love it. Good morning! Shhhhhhhh- the grandbabies are still sleeping. I' got my shower, got the dog out, and am drinking my first cup of coffee in glorious quiet. Did I tell you all that I keep the girls Sun - Fri. afternoon? They are 2.5 and 1.5. My dd can't lift them (she is 21 weeks now!) and her dh doesn't get home from work until 7 and leaves at 5:30 am. So, they stay with me, and dd comes in the morning and stays with them while I am at work in the am, I come home and feed them all lunch and then when they go down for naps I go do visits or whatever else I need to do. I look forward to my alone time, needless to say!
Anyway, this is day 3, yet again! But this is the last day 3 I will have, 'cause even if (when) I fall off the wagon in the very very far future, I won't get lost in carb fog. I'll just turn around and hop right back on the wagon! |

Yesterday I was back on plan with a lean burger in the morning, turkey soup during the day and then a lean burger for dinner. And water, water, water!!
I am down the 2 pounds I gained - still looking to lose that ONE pound by tomorrow! grrrr.... Today I am going to a Scrapbook Expo with my daughter so there will be lots of walking involved - I have my tuna pouches ready and my water. Hopefully the Whoosh Fairy will be kind tonight. Have a great day everyone! |

A quick good morning to everyone.
I have some things to do this morning and then I'm going to read all the posts I missed from yesterday. I'm trying to resist the urge to get on that scale this morning. Those of you on active weight loss right now.. How often do you weigh yourself? One of the hardest things for me is to stay off the darn scale. When I am actively dieting, I want to jump on that scale every single morning. I know that's not a good thing to do because of small normal weight fluctuations that happen. I know it would be better to just weigh perhaps once a week so I can see the overall progress and not see a small temporary gain here and there because of water retention, or whateverr.......but I just can't seem to resist stepping onto that thing every day. Ok, off to do my cleaning and try to stay off the scale. BUT, no doubt, when I come back here later, I will have weighed myself.

One of my scales will not act right if it gets wet...so I have to have a back up!I try not to really "care" if there's a gain or if there's no loss...I just know how easy it is to start slipping...two things that happen when my slip ups get out of hand...I stop weighing and I stop reading LCF. I will say on Stillman's I don't have as many gains...when I was just doing LC I would have small gains after losses...i think that's only happened once the last month. Happy Friday to all!! ![]() ![]() |

Thanks for the responses about how often you all weigh. I don't feel so bad now. And yes I did succumb to the pull of the scale and weighed myself. Now I'm glad I did, I'm down another pound. Oh, if only this rate of loss would continue. lol It will slow, plateau...again and again and that is when I will need to keep a good dose of 'will' power coursing through my veins.
Mim, I loved your response of 30 secs. Some days, that is closer to the truth for me too. |

Hi Everyone! I missed you!!! You are all doing so well! and Happy Belated Bday Sharon!!!
SO, Im ready to attack the fat! Back to QWL. Its the only thing I can do 100%. Back to my skinny jeans. Back to my saggy skin. (Can you beleive I would want that?!?! ) I'm all poofed out right now. TOM is here so we'll just blame him for my last two weeks of recklessness. Sound good? ![]() So, the 14 day plan only lasted a few hours. I have indulged peeps but I think all the cheats are out of my system! I dont think. I KNOW!!!! So, my plan for the day is Tuna for lunch and pork chops for dinner. Already had my coffee, sans cream, so all is good! I've got my water bottles filled up and Im already down two. (I know I should be much farther in cause its already close to noon!) Im using CL. Forgive me for being away. Without you guys Im lost. Cheat central. Cravings are at a maximum high right now. But I will beat them!!! Can I get a do-over? Last edited by aleriaaa; 07-09-2010 at 09:15 AM.. |

Hmmm may I say a brand name here? Darn I've been gone so long, I can't remember. I would like to know if any of you have tried a certain "mayo"...IF it truly can be called mayo. zero everything I'd like to hear from someone that has tried it before I purchase it. But I just can't remember if it is ok to mention a brand on here or not.

I once wrote to Hellmans to ask them how many carbs were really in the mayo and how much sugar was present in thier 64 oz. jar....I could happily eat it like yogurt. (gross, i know) They ignored my questions and replied "as always, Hellmans has zero carbs." they lied.

Love the new avi, Al. Bahahahaha.
Peeps... I think I am still experiencing the die-off effects.... Ugh. Last few days, I've been experiencing nausea and diarrhea. The heat on top of this is no fun either. I hope this passes soon... It'll be a week tomorrow. Just haven't had too much of an appetite lately, when I do eat, I feel nauseous and yea. I know it'll be worth it, if I can get through it... and getting through it is my only option so I'll shut up about it now ![]() So peeps... I went out last night and drank nothing but bottled water. Just felt the need to be social and hang out with a bunch of my friends... Everyone kept calling me skinny and my friend took a photo of me with her new camera phone to test it out and sent it to me and omg, I actually looked at it and thought I looked skinny too! Even though my BMI is still "overweight" and I carry extra weight in my butt/thighs but my double chin is definitely gone. It's not a very good picture, I was frowning from being blinded by the flash but here it is. I am just in awe that I actually have a jaw line, no double chin, collar bones. Eek! It's like looking at someone, who isn't ME! It's not a great photo, but i'll post it as my new avi.
