Hey Peeps! Gotta respond quick because I am having one heck of a problem trying to keep an internet connection, here at work. Scale was down 2.4 of that gain, so an even 170. I am hoping to see a new low in the next few days. Belly is still bloated. Today I am starting Virgin Coconut Oil. Had my first teaspoon this morning in my coffee... well, actually, still sipping on that coffee. I love the smell and taste of coconut <3 but it's going to take some getting used to this oiliness. I am also trying to cut Splenda out of my life. My cream intake is now down to 1/2 of those little creamer cups which is like half a teaspoon. I don't know if I have some Candida issues or not, though that "rash" I had on my face last week most definitely seemed like a yeast die off rash. Note to self: Avoid wine from now on! So I don't want to jump on the Candida band wagon until I see if my bloated belly goes down on it's own, or with the aid of CO, so I will just incorporate some coconut oil, which is good for that, among a zillion other things! It'll also help up my calories, which I have a hard time getting over 700 most days. Okay peeps... I will let you all know how it's going with the CO. Swebb, how are you doing on the CO? Seems like the weight is falling off now! Do you find you have increased energy while taking CO?

Okay peeps, hopefully I can keep my internet connection long enough to post this and respond to the rest of the posts.

Welcome newbies and congrats to all those who are staying on plan and LOSING!!! KUTGW!

For those that drink it.. how much do you drink a day and what are the 'benefits'??
Try an Iced Green Tea from Starbucks... Unsweetened! They usually dilute it with water, though if you say "no water" they won't dilute it then you probably won't like the taste as much. I prefer it diluted, much more mild taste. You can squeeze in a fresh lemon wedge if you want... I don't like hot green tea, only iced. It's a nice pick-me-up that's refreshing and I don't have to worry about adding anything to it, like I do with coffee. If you go to Starbucks, make sure you watch them make it, if they add any syrup to it, that's sugar water and you don't want it!

I definitely prefer being without stomach ache that the carbs cause me. It'd be a lie to say I'm not craving today, but the last few days have been difficult cravings wise anyway. I think maybe TOM is on its way... but I have no idea when my cycle is anymore. KEEP ME ON TRACK TODAY GIRLS! PLEASE!!!!!!!!!! I'M BEGGING YOU. I know it's not worth the pain of the gain. I need to keep repeating it over and over.
Eat lots and lots of meat so you don't give yourself a chance to feel hungry and weak! I had this day yesterday, getting over my carb cravings from having popcorn the day before... Just keep yourself busy and eat legal things, when hungry!

GwnStfni, I hope that CO does the trick for you! You may have a bunch of Stillman Women on board with you if it does! I have read so much about how good it is for you.

I'd like to thank IM2fat, CCGirl, smallerizing, & kamills for the pep talks. I needed that! I feel like I made it through the first of many temptation hurdles...

IM2fat, I loved your list of benefits! A few really cracked me up! But all of them make perfect sense to me and encourage me to keep on keepin' on.

I'm going to go exercise. I'm watching reruns of Season 2 of the Office...they are so funny...and make my time of the elliptical go by quickly.

It's going to be a chicken, tuna, cottage cheese day for me!

Ugh. I just looked at my stats... I didn't even make the 10lb challenge, OMG!! This is the first month I haven't lost more than 12+ pounds. I have a loss of 8 new pounds... Gained 9 over memorial day weekend so I lost a total of 17 but only 8 of those were new pounds. I really have to be strict this month. My goal is to be at 155 by the end of the month (this month, my goal was 164 ). Grrr. *cracking the whip* That one cheat really messed me up though, I was soooo good for a hot minute there, I just couldn't lose the bloated belly... I really hope it works itself out...

Hi peeps!! Eating my eggs!
Oh yuk I weighed his morning-seriously why did I?? It's like not as if I didn't know whatthe result will be!! Anyway I'm up to 133 (my scale's fav. no. I might ad!) Oh it's sickening. I'm really hoping it's TOM--I'm very, very late BTW. Cos it can't really be that much water weight from carbs--because I've been doing the inches-off diet for the past week with the veggies etc. But it can't be real weight either-I did not eat 3500x7 cals!!! I'm just pissed off!! Oh well--don't worry I'll get over it!! I'm back on plan (QWL) and that always makes me feel better and in control!!
I so did not make the 10lb challenge for July--nope I've gained!!! (It was either laugh or cry,I thought laughing about it was better!!)
Anyway to motivate me I bought a pair of UK6 skinny jeans (they were in the sale E20 in H&M-they'll be my second pair ever!!----- The "bum-lift" ones are a 10. And after wearing them for 2days they're a bit looser,(in not a good way) I hope that's normal and they don't get any looser. I wouldn't know cos I have never worn tight jeans-always bootcut!! -----Anyway they (the new ones) seriously don't fit-I can't close them at all!!! But I have them hanging up in my bedroom to look at them every day to motivate me!! I will fit in them, even if it kills me! He!
I read your posts this morning but I was too self-pitying re the scale to reply--but I shall now!!!

Oh God yeah!!! i think I look so much older now. And "pinched" I've no youthful bloom!! People might like cheek bones-I don't. I like round chubby cheeks!! Fat plumps up lines and wrinkles!! It really is the thing I hate about losing the weight-that and my hands are so thin and veiny-like a 90yr olds. It's not funny. I think it's why I look "thinner" than I am! I had no energy as well. I do seem to have A LOT more energy since I have started adding the coconut oil every day. It may just be the increased calories, don't know.....but I'll take it!

I have much more energy. Also, about an hour after eating the CO I get hot (I am guessing this is my metabolism increasing).

I did have a stall for 3 days BUT then I lost 2 pounds. In the past my stalls would be for AT LEAST a week.

I put CO in my coffee. I drizzle CO over a chicken breast or a piece of fish. I have tried it on steak - not too bad but I like it better on chicken, fish or shrimp.
