before I go woohooing myself prematurely... I went to bed at 7:30..... BUT, if I did that any other night, I would still be sleeping til the kids woke me up!!

...I think I have a sinus infection...or allergies...or my body is getting rid of carb toxins.... my head feels like crap but my body is fine! If I could just run around and get everything done with my eyes closed and tissue up my nose, I may be able to call today a success..

the thing that sucks is I grilled up 8 chicken breasts marinated in italian dressing (off plan...shame on me) I ate like 2 breasts but couldnt even taste it cause my nose is all stuffed up!!! I can be soooo dumb. but the dressing burns off on the grill for the most part, right???!?!

Actually my Mum keeps telling me I'm too thin (I wish!) and that I should seriously stop now. She keeps pointing out people and saying I dunno why you can't see it--you're as thin if not thinner than her. Oh and I'm sooo not!!!! It's getting annoying now!! Oh yeah and she keeps trying to get me to eat bad things!! I need to get back to Germany (and I never thought those words would come out of my mouth!!)

Speaking of Germany---I was so sorry they beat England in the World Cup. We (Ireland) were for England. The Germans are too smug!!

Hi Kelley! I am scale obsessed and trying to break the habit. I weigh before I go to bed and when I get up. The night weight doesn't bother me - it gives me an idea of what I'll weigh in the morning. But sometimes if I don't lose or if I'm up .5 even after being on plan, it sends me to binge mode. So this time I'm trying to make friends with my scale and stop in occasionally to see how she is doing!

I was up at what seemed half hour intervals last night, peeing! I think I'll cut my liquids off at 8 tonight and see if that helps. It has been so hot here I have not had a problem getting in my water. It is holding my water so I can sleep that is the problem! : )

News (or not) flash, peeps...if you find a drink mix that you don't like try mixing with unsweetened instant tea! I got the cherry lime CL and I can't stand it, but mixed with tea it's deelish! And no more vampire red mouth stains....

Wow, a few days ago? Get your eyes checked! You are awesome!

Sounds like our mums may be on the same team........I'm sending those 14 pants back to her. She's restricted now to tops and Coach shoes for me. At least she likes the diet. Didn't have that suggesting bad food prob with her here. LOL smug Germans...we never had that prob...well, maybe just me

O man...me too...good plan. I may have to hide mine until Saturday, she keeps glaring at me in the office...at least it doesn't have sound effects...'moooooo'.....'heehaw heehaw'

Good Morning all...thank you for being so welcoming! I'm glad to be a part of your group ;-)

I'm on Prednisone for the third day and my weight is going up! The Dr. said that wouldn't happen...haha obviously he doesn't know my body at all. Any kind of prescription pill seems to make me moody and fat. :-) whateves...
I'll keep doing what I know works and my body will follow eventually.
I only have two more days on the steroids.
I enjoy reading all your posts you guys are fun!

hi kelly! thats stinks about the weight gain on steroids. every girl knows a gain is a sure thing on that stuff, but youve got the secret weapon to cut it in half and get rid of it later!!!! eat your meat! promise?

...at the beach party yesterday, they had a nice little cookout spread. It was for my sons friend at school so there were lots of other parents there. When it was time to eat, I got the kids stuff together then grabbed a plate with just two burgers. Sat down with everyone, fork and knife in hand, and chowed down. dont know if they even noticed, but no one said a word. i didnt have to explain a thing. I bring this up so anyone out there can get the nerve to try it too. Stick to plan no matter what and do something for yourself that will get you the results you want!

If a vegan sat down next to you with a plate piled high of cucumbers, would you question it? nope. you would probably congratulate them on doing whats right for them!!!

celebrate the fact that we are carnivores!!! eat meat!
