lisa - here is the "condensed" version :

put raw eggs in pot. Fill with enough cold water until eggs are covered by an inch or two. 1 tsp salt, 1 tbs vinegar. Bring to a boil. Take off heat, cover and let eggs sit 10-15 minutes. Pour off hot water and then put pan under cold running water until eggs are cool - put in refrigerator.

hey guys.. I've been MIA for only a day and Wowsers! Talky bunch

Anyway, . my sons and I worked at the mobile food pantry yesterday. . Guess what I did? . burnt the backs of my knees. . how stupid.. they are bright red and will probably blister later. . Nice look especially when I'm Ms. Whitey. .

Well. .went to the Doctor again today. . I think I'm just falling apart this year. . I have never been to the Doc so much in my life. . Now I have (he's thinking) severe carpal tunnel and have to wear a brace for the next 4 to 5 weeks. .I asked to do that instead of taking the dreaded "test" first. Ugg.. I really don't want to do that. .I thought you only get it in your wrist but my whole arm and shoulder are numb. . I guess it could have been worse

so.. tonight I have to work concessions at 5:00 and I was hoping to be out early because we have to take a trip in the morning. As it is, we have to be up at 4:30 to travel. (about 3 hours away) . Anyway, I just heard on the radio that they are giving away a $5,000 diamond to the millionth customer!! OMG. . so a sell-out game meaning we are going to get slammed.. Great. . why do I volunteer for things? I must learn NO!

anyway, Peeps. . I am a little disappointed to say the least that I did not make my goal this month (again). . I lost 1 pound total if you really want to get technical.. . I just don't get it anymore. I think after this weekend, I have to do a little soul searching and figure out what is going to work best for me. . At this point . .I'm thinking water only !!!

O. and the Acaci Berry. . Let me tell you..I am not sure if this is a coincidence or not but I did the 5 day cleanse.. (This may be too graphic. . sorry, in advance). .definately cleansed this morning. . no cramping or anything terrible like that . .just a woosh.. kinda like water. . Strange . if nothing else. . it did seem to take care of the bloat..

IM - apple cider vinegar will help the burn - as will coconut oil I don't think I am going to make my goal this month either but I do know that I am at least TRYING. I know you have been here longer than I have - I don't have any words of wisdom for you, sorry wish I knew what to tell you to do to start losing again. Please don't give up - even a pound or 2 a month will add up over time.

Ouch on the CTS! Hopefully you will not need surgery.

I have not experienced the "cleanse" but I am definitely less bloated than I was before the coconut oil and the Candida cleanse.

Thinking of you and wishing I could kick that stall to the curb for you

webb: I think that's a great idea. . no goals for next month. . Well. .strike that. . my goal shall be not to set any goals just to work on me and see what happens next. I am sure God has some sort of plan . . .perhaps it is to see how long I can maintain before I finally get the prize?!!! That would be great. .but I've been very patient I'm stubburn but I'm just afraid I'll do something to jeopardize what I have done already. . gotta keep plugging away. . Well, I survived the coffee craving and had some sf jello and a little redi whip:blush: Calories and carbs are so very low I just couldn't punish myself for that!

Anyways, I woke up to a loss and I know it is because my will power remained strong!

IM2You have had such a tough year....you have stayed so strong through it all. If had been doing this as long as you and hadn't seen much loss I would be But, you have kept a good spirit! I hope you find what works best for you - but water only is too drastic.!!

AL - Thanks for the support - you are always an inspiration.

GT - when did you start adding apples and oatmeal? And, you are still losing AWESOME

Lisa - Congrats on the new baby - I am with everyone else, from what I remember you look 19 yourself - I can't imagine you have a daughter that's 19!!

awwww there is just too much bad news in this post!!! My aunt just had the surgery and she's sooo much better and its only been a week. I would still try to wear the brace for while and see if it helps. I feel so bad.

Dont worry about not making goal. You stuck with it and maintained! Actually..you are down!!! You are doing everything right! Dont lose hope in Stills, I would still blame the thyroid. Like you said, I have no idea what else you would do besides water and you cant go there! Something is not working right and I would have to see another thyroid specialist. BUT!!! Im sure the scale will do something nice for you for a change when you wake up in the morning!! Im really sure of it!!!

and you are crazy Im2. How could you volunteer tonight knowing you have an early drive in the AM??? I would be all stressed out with your schedule and that must impede weight loss. That is the theory - right now I am doing about 2 tbs a day. I also wonder if the capsule (the outside) doesn't break down at the right time during the digestive process?? Just a thought.

the CO in itself produces a flush! in the face and the stomach!!

leaves me with the same icky feeling as vitamins though... like I have to eat something bad to get rid of it or disguise the weird tummy/ nauseaus feeling. I do think I probably overdid it as usual...sometimes less is more!

I'm so undecisive...I'm thinking Stillmans worked before, it has to work again. Im still strong..keeping it clean! had my tuna and theres ground turkey for supper!

I needed something else to give me a few more calories - the CO seemed to be a logical choice - at least for me.

I had Tilapia for breakfast/lunch. Tonight I am just about to put a T-Bone (or 2) on the grill

I have no husband or children home for the next 3-4 days

Me too! I do look for sales and try and stock up but that doesn't always work - I tend to finish the steak way before the next sale!

But if you think of it this way - the tuna in a pouch cost me $2.25 for 3.5 ounces. I can buy decent steak for $4.99 a pound. Steak is cheaper!

Although the day is not done, I have stayed on plan and will continue that way. My day got busier than i thought it would and I ended up having to eat lunch out. I didn't have a restaurant choice and had a salad with chicken - best choice. I am ok with my choices as the first several days I ease into pure Stillman's. I have a wedding tomorrow and will stay on plan for the reception/dinner. No one is going to care what I do and do not eat!

It feels so good to be back on plan! I will be ready to do Tuna Tuesday and start seeing the pounds run away from me!
