Peeps, I have been struggling soooo much this past week! I don't know what it is, what's caused it... There aren't any specific cravings... well okay, I am craving fat, I want a cheeseburger, I want wings and I want lettuce and fresh, ripe Jersey tomatoes. But this week has been my hardest week since starting over 4 months ago. I don't know if it's partly because the loss was slow this week? I am just so very underwhelmed with my food options. I am trying to hang tight until Saturday. I'll be out of town Sun/Mon and I'm gonna make those Atkins days... need to start with a fatty meal Saturday night though, just to clean the system out so I'm not running around NYC trying to find a bathroom! :blush: Oh but peeps, I just wanna cave, at like every minute of the day for the last week. It's been tough. I don't know how I haven't caved yet. I am eating tuna out of a pouch with some lemon juice and I swear, it has absolutely no taste at all and I am getting at the thought of another hard boiled egg. But I don't want to go off plan and gain before NYC. Sorry, just venting out loud.

Been there. .done, that GWN. .. maybe you do need to add a little salad or something.. that really kept me focused when I was having it rough. maybe it is time to mess up you inner metabolism or something?? IDK. . I just get soo frustrated tooo.. .I really wish I could help. .I know the feeling all too well. . Mine is stress. .I know it and I have to learn to eliminate it from my life but its next to impossible right now. My business is really frustrating (cash flow) so its a constant battle trying to get the bills paid. I thoroughly understand that it triggers my eating impulses. . Is there anything bothering you right now that you can think of? sometimes just determining what it is. . helps. . a little..

You mean besides going through a breakup, looking for a new apartment, working 6 days a week and saving for my Europe trip which is in 2 months? Oh then there's that weight "issue". lololol Yea, lolol... Never thought of myself as an emotional/stress eater though. I just eat because that's what I do, I like to eat. Now I miss eating but I know that I miss being thin more than eating junk so at least I'm still relatively sane Yesterday was the worst, I wanted to break so bad, couldn't stop thinking about food, so I punished myself by going on a second bike ride. But hey, at least the scale was down a tiny bit today.

For those of you who incorporate a salad daily, notice any change in weight? Slower? Bloating?

I am going to let myself a bit off plan this weekend, I will stay with Atkins except for one meal, I am going to my favorite Mexican restaurant but will definitely try to keep the damage minimal. Of course, I say this now, but if I end up losing like 5lbs between now and then, well the Mexican restaurant is off limits! Ha!

No. .i did not notice anything different other than my need to crush was satisfied. . I never realized how good celery was!!! I only stuck with lettuce, celery and occasional tomato slice, etc. . and I always measured and kept my veggies to 1 cup at lunch and another at dinner if I really had to have it. . Celery in my tuna counted. .and I'd put Tomato on my meat every once in awhile.. I did find that I didn't need it ever single day. . I also seasoned with vinegar. .O. .and cucumbers. . other than that. . I left the stachy veggies alone. . I was a lot more regular too. . if that's any help. .

Yeah it's def because of the scale--don't weigh, Gwn-seriously!!! Also it's what Gullo says about diet burnout--you're bored, bored, bored!!! Keep away from the tuna!!! If you need something eat a salad, maybe--it's the crunch that's good!!!
