Well.. my family saga continues.. I finally got the "invitation" to the big family event . . It is on June 26th!! Remember, I had planned to be skinny by then? Well. . I have exactly 15 days to get my act together and lose 20 pounds!!!! Realistically.. .I would be thrilled with 10! 10 measly pounds! I know, in my case, that's like asking for 50 because I lose so darn slow. . but I would do just about anything to make it all disappear. . I really, really, really need to do this. .It would just make everything better, ya know?

So hound me. .stay after me. .make me do it~!! I'm thinking only positive thoughts as I chug more water. . Wash-a-weigh, fat. . wash-a-weigh!!

Hi everyone! I'm sooo behind on the posts. I promise to check back in later today after work. The last few days have been bad bad bad for me. And I'm too scared to weigh myself for fear of seeing horrific numbers. I'm back on Stillman's today and plan on keeping on it as long as possible. I will weigh on Monday after I've got 4 days under my belt. I don''t think I'm doing too well on the 10 lb challenge, needless to say! Congrats to everyone with losses. I miss you guys. I hate not having a computer. Grrrrrr.

The Procter & Gamble Company (P&G) (NYSE:PG) is voluntarily recalling specific lots of its Iams canned cat food in North America as a precautionary measure. Diagnostic testing indicated that the product may contain insufficient levels of thiamine (Vitamin B1), which is essential for cats. Cats that were fed these canned products as their only food are at greater risk for developing signs of thiamine deficiency.

Pfizer Inc is voluntarily recalling Metronidazole, Ciprofloxacin and Ondansetron IV Products due to the presence of floating matter and non-sterility discovered by the manufacturer Claris Laboratories. Non-sterility of a product administered via the intravenous route has the potential to result in infections, which could be fatal, especially in patients who are immunocompromised. Metronidazole and Ciprofloxacin injections are intravenous antibiotics used to treat infections.

Defibtech, LLC, is initiating a voluntary recall of 5,418 DBP-2800 Battery Packs used in the Lifeline AED® and ReviveR AEDTM (semi-automatic external defibrillators). This recall affects all DBP- 2800 Battery Packs shipped prior to June 4, 2007. In rare instances, when the AED is used with an affected battery pack, the AED may falsely detect an error condition during charging for a shock, then cancel charge and not provide therapy.

Wow hard to keep up with all the "losers" today!! - Congratulations to all

Today is my 3 month anniversary on Stillman's. Both my husband and I have been following Stillman's (he regularly cheats - but still loses )

I have lost a total of 43 pounds and he has lost 22 pounds!

The Whoosh Fairy stopped by here and took 1.5 pounds last night as my anniversary "gift"

I do have to keep reminding myself to look at the OVERALL loss, not what the scale says on a daily basis (hard to do sometimes).

I have lost 2 pounds (I am not counting the 4 I lost that I had gained last week) for the 10 pound challenge.

Good Morning Everyone!

Wow was that whoosh fairy busy last night! She stopped by my place and took 1.6 pounds with her. Lots of losers on the board today, I'm soooo happy for all of us! Yes, that's me in my avi. I often have pink streaks in my hair. Very Gwen Stefani, circa Return of Saturn era

It's going to be mid 80s and humid today... ah, another bad hair day. I have an appointment to get my hair done tomorrow and the only time he could squeeze me in was 8:15am People, I don't know how I'm going to do this but I have to wake up at like 6:45. It's been a long time since I woke up that early. Plus, I am forcing myself to ride my bike there - 8-9 miles one way. The last mile is VERY hilly. I don't own a car so it's either bike there or take the train which runs on the hour and I am not okay with hopping a 7am train to wait around for an hour to get my hair done. The plus side is, I'll get my workout in early in the morning and I can come home and take a nap before work.

IM2, You should eat exactly what you had yesterday, I think the whoosh fairy will definitely be knocking on your door tonight. Congrats on almost being back at goal... All down hill from here hon!

Swebb, That's 3.58lbs per week lost. You go girl! I am coming up on month 4 and am averaging 3.68lbs per week... Those are great numbers for both of us - so even when you have a gain or a stall... you're right on track so keep that in mind! I don't know what Stillman's was talking about when he said 5lbs a week... I've lost 5lbs in one week, ONCE (after a high fat splurge), on Stills and I consider myself pretty strict to QWL. I am happy with 3lbs+ a week. You're doing phenomenal so don't be so hard on yourself! Oh yea, and happy anni!

kamills, eek! Glad you're back on board with us, we missed your enthusiasm!! Get on that scale, and be accountable for your gain. Otherwise, if you don't know, it's too easy to stay in denial! Trust me, coming from someone who has easily avoided the scale for a year at a time!!

alright, once again congrats to all you losers... Wow if we added up all our losses just for today, that'd be a pretty significant number!!

I don't know if you know the history of my Hello Kitty (Pink) infatuation. . but it started after my 4 boys got a little older and I figured out how to hang onto my stuff. . Everything. . .and I mean everything that wasn't pink would end up broken, taken to school or something. . I have a pink laptop. .phone. . radio, briefcase. . the obsession continues!!! I still want the scale but I'm too cheap!!

Well today started out good (with a visit from the Whoosh Fairy) but quickly went down hill........

I got an email letting me know that a friend has passed She died of a brain aneurysm. We all thought she was going to pull through because she was such a strong person and had many people praying for her.

So this is just a VERY STRONG reminder to ME and I am passing it along to all of my LC friends - LIVE LIFE because things change in an instant.

I will continue to eat the Stillman's weigh until I reach my goal. In the meantime I will no longer worry about what other people think - I WILL be in the pictures that family and friends take. I WILL go to the beach, the pool, the lake. I WILL reach out to friends more often - inviting them to dinner, lunch, coffee, a movie. I WILL take time to care how others are doing or feeling. I WILL start living all the things I said I would do "tomorrow" -TODAY.

I hope all of you will do the same.

Yep. .webb. think about it this way. . you have lost 1/2 a pound a day!! That's fabs! What other diet would give you those results. . You can do it. . you are doing great. . My hubby is still doing Atkins (I keep bugging him about the fat he intakes. . Cheese, almonds.. more cheese. . burger, salad dressing. .).. I wish he would look at that a little closer. . I really don't think all that fat is good for him. .He's lost about 30 .. but he also more or less cheats. not on carbs. but fat and he like his cocktails on the weekends. .

Ahh, I am so sorry for your loss and thank you for that gentle reminder. We take so many things for granted. I am positive that her role in this life was to touch as many people as she could and it is unfortunate that God chose to take her early. Remember her always and smile when you do! We U!

I did the last 6weeks before my IKEA episode !!! completely and utterly pure Stills-not even diet drinks or SF jello(can't find it anyway-don't think it exists here!)-nothin illegal--and I soooo did not lose his magic 5lbs--!!!
