I'm in. I weighed myself on Saturday and I was at 242. I've been just lo carbing, nothing specific, just no sugar or starches.
I have a huge goal by September 2nd. I'd like to be down about 50 pounds if I can. My weight set point is 220 so I'm nervous about overcoming that. I have just been reunited with my birth mother and siblings. I'm flying out to meet them in September and I just don't want to feel self conscious because the whole thing is going to be stressful enough!! |

Thanks Kamills for your advice.
Fat fast which you consume 80% is fat... 5-10g of carb. We have the same problem is keeping our ideal weight. I want to reintroduce step be step into my body, first i want to introduce FAT, the carb will be introduce after 20 days, 5g by 5g until i stop losing my weight. It sounds like Atkins a bit What i really hate to maintain the weight is counting ... counting carbs, counting kcals... In short, 10 days of leans, 10 days of lean and fat, then 5g carb/week until i stop losing weight. menu: B: 1 egg w 2 no carb sausages that were boiled 15' to release the fat. L: 1 slice of fish, fried in non-fat spray. S: 1 egg w chop pork D: 1/2 c of lean pork. Today i eat more than ytd and tmr. I vary my calo intake. Last edited by Suri; 05-31-2010 at 08:42 PM.. |

Whew! finally broke 160. I weigh 159 now. I was trapped at 160 for like 3 days. Good grief! I hope its all downhill from here, baby.
J4--I have found I am an "extreme" person. I have bad "slippery slope" problems. Hence skim milk will not due the trick. Do you hate cottage cheese? If not, why not just have that instead? As for me, I'm bopping along. I eat when I'm hungry. That's it. No set meals. |

Totally get the slippery slope/extremes. Me too. I'm all or nothing. So strict Stillman's or eating everything I shouldn't. Really need to not do that this month. |

Starting again!
After a very indulgent weekend, I weighed in this morning at 244.5 lbs. I'm 5' 7 and a 1/2."
It took me a lot of courage to finally get on a scale. Now that I have done so, I can't wait to see the pounds melt away with Stillmans. I get a lot of motivation reading everyone's posts. Menu today: B - 2 hard boiled eggs L - 1 hard boiled egg and 3 ounces of chicken breast with mustard D - 3 soft boiled eggs 2.5 liters of water, 2 cups of tea, 1 cup of black coffee 1 multivitamin *Need to try increasing my water. Will post again tomorrow. So glad everyone is here! ![]() |

I'd love to join you guys. It will be nice to have motivation to keep me strong. I read that everyone says that Stillmans is awesome to lose weight fast and to curb the cravings. If it can stop the binge mentality, that would be great for me.
I'm currently 180 and I'd like to get back down to 150 by the end of the summer. My goal is to drink black coffee... lotsa lotsa lotsa water... and those lean meats! |

Welcome Sugar and Power! I'm really happy to see more Stillmanites. It really is a great WOE for great results. Congratulations Suri and Power for the loss. Already reaping the benefits!
I'm in a lot of pain today, though nothing to do with eating. I nearly vomited. It will pass though. Will update my menu later. Weigh day tomorrow. |

Hey guys and gals!
Finally hit 158 today F-I-N-A-L-LLL-Y. I was worried there for a bit, wondering if I would be stuck at the same weight for 3 excruciating days. Finally, the scale nudged. One wrinkle is that the BF returns today from a business trip. ruh-roh. I hope I can withstand all the crap that he is bound to eat in front of me. sigh. |

Hi Scooter and Suri,
Looks like you've both got a tough couple of days coming up. Just remember, that if you go off plan, you need to get back on asap. No waiting around. Of course, it'd be better to stay on plan, but I know that may not happen. No judgements here (ahem, after my weekend ). Suri, I don't know about tofu. How many carbs does it have? I don't eat cheese on this diet as it's not available here. I try to keep my carbs under 10 - which come from eggs and my fruit tea. If you can eat it and still lose, go for it. |

Thank you for the welcome Kamills!
First day was both hard & easy at the same time. The easy part is food tastes good... and the "hunger" is nonexistent with the lean protein. However the cravings to eat carbs are horrendous! I almost put HWC in my coffee 3x before I got control over myself. OMG. It's crazy... it's almost like another person trying to take over your body. But I stayed strong.. so far! LOL B - 2 scrambled eggs & 1 Turkey sausage link and Coffee (black) L - Boiled Chicken w/ a shredded lettuce garnish and Iced Americano (black) S - Turkey sausage link D - Lamb kabob (leftovers!) I'm look forward to see tomorrow's de-bloat weigh-in.

The carb in it is various, well, i search on the Calories Count, the soft ones with the firm ones, the fried ones, .. bla blah contains 1-6 carb/serving. If 1 is the real, i will go for it but... 6 carb per serving... that's why im so confused.
Today, i will try to eat Tofu Yesterday menu: B: 2 HB eggs Lunch: skip it Sn: 1 slice of steam pork D: Another slice of pork Lotsa lotsa water I ate less on yesterday than the previous one. i hope to see more lose by tmr |

Honestly, i feel better when i ate more fat, eating plain protein makes me feel like im missing something. It's not cravings or things like that, it's not hungry neither. I always drink water when i have that feeling. Fortunately, im also too busy to think about food ![]() Business keep us thin ![]() |

Well done on getting through the first day Sugar! It's always the hardest, but it does get much easier soon. Hope you see some good results!
Suri, let us know how it goes with the tofu. I weighed this morning at 210.4. So I'm losing again. 2.2 lbs in two days. I unfortunately won't meet my second goal of 205 lbs by Saturday, but I'm OK with that as long as I feel slimmer and I'm seeing a loss on the scale. Next weigh-in on Saturday. |

Pure Stillman's is the best! I hit 157 1/2 today. Very pleased. I guess sometimes you search and search for the right diet for you until you find it.
I have never ever had such an easy time losing weight, well, ever. I'm about 10 1/2 lbs down in under 2 weeks. Who knew? I'm dreading when this starts getting more difficult. When and if the weight loss slows, how slow will it be? BF came home last night from the airport and said my faced looked thinner. He noticed! Yay! |

Good morning! I have two days of on plan eating under my belt! Well, I don't really wear belts because my belly is so big I would have to buy two and buckle them together!
I'm putting up my stats. This morning I'm at 233, which is 9.5 pounds heavier than I was the 1st of May. Sigh. But I know with the support of all of you, I can get this moving in the right direction. I've got to feed the grandkids, and me too for that matter! I'll check in later. |

Hi Suri... thank you! I hear ya on the eating fats... but I think my problem was eating too much FATS! LOL Too much HWC, cheese, butter, etc. Since I wasn't very clean with my carbs, I think it contributed to my inability to lose and in fact gain weight!
But after ONE day eating clean I can feel the ketosis and de-bloat. I am happy to report 178.5 as of today... B - Black coffee, 2 hb eggs L - Char-grilled chicken S - Iced Passion Iced Tea D - Char-grilled chicken (leftover from lunch) S - Iced Passion Iced Tea I haven't been able to drink more coffee w/o the cream!... it's just so strong. So I tried the Starbux Iced Passion Iced Tea w/ 2 splendas and I'm in love. It's definitely my new favorite drink! So refreshing!! And Stillmans-friendly. |

I have only been doing Stillman's for about 2 weeks. I am at 150, with a goal off 112. I am only 5'0, so that is a reasonable goal for me. In addition to Stillmans I am doing the Slim in 6 dvd, which seems to really be working.
