Hey guys... Weight is the same today, thought it would be, based on my weigh in last night. Calories were 600 yesterday and I did aerobics last night... Just felt a little bloated yesterday, not sure why. Also, around 7pm, started to feel a little light headed... Probably wasn't a good idea to work out since that exaggerated it. Felt the same way when I woke up, but feeling okay now. IDK. If it continues another day, I will have a high fat meal, like a burger. We shall see. I don't have potassium tablets but I have been taking my multi. Today makes day 12 on strict QWL and I'm shooting for another 10. Ha. IDK if I will make it, might need ONE high fat day in there, instead of my 2-4 high fat days. That might keep the gain at bay a bit. But like I always say with this plan, ONE day at a time, I can't predict how I will feel tomorrow! Okie doke... Have a great day everyone.

Today is the first day I have been able to sit down and read the posts - wow we are a chatty group!!! Love it

The scales today showed a 3 pound loss since the 14th (3 pounds in 3 days) so I guess the UPs Fairy is still trapped under my bed

I have not been consistent about taking my vitamins and I can feel the difference. I am sluggish and tired, actually kind of "achy". So I am back to paying more attention to getting my vitamins in, along with getting more water into the system ...........

A word of advise to all the new people - if you have a stall or a slight gain - DON'T PANIC There are several posts where we have all been there, Stillman's WORKS - just stick to the plan through the stalls and gains and you will be happy with the end results!!

Ignore them!! You so can--if you want to---I don't think it's any harder or easier than Atkins-harder in restaurants if you eat out a lot but that's about it!!

I say hop on Stillmans-it's quicker than Atkins!!.....I know nobody else agrees!!!!....and in a way (for me) anyway it feels a lot "healthier" than Atkins--all that bacon and butter?....I think QWL teaches you to be satisfied with a lot less and with very bland eating. I'd be afraid that after so long on Atkins you'd really get the taste for the fried stuff and wouldn't be able to do without it!! ......now nobody shoot me!!

SWEET! My 1st cousin is in Kuwait, she was born and raised there. My aunt's first hubby was from there. I wish my mother and her sisters got along better, it would have been nice to have a relationship.

I heard about the wonderful open markets when a bunch of friends in HS went. It will be great when you get to maintenance! Then we can all be wabbits!!!

Peeps, It's my Momma's birthday today (a big one-but we're not allowed say!) and I miss her and everyone! I wanted to go home for the weekend but I couldn't risk it cos the stupid volcano is still spewing and literally every second day the airports are closed. I wanted to give her a big hug--not the same over the phone!

I do like to post on the main board from time to time, I really do, as I remember a lot of posters from when I was here in 2003 but a lot of people are really down on Stillman's and say "you can't do it long term", long term meaning more than a week.

Also, I have another dilemma... I often get private messages from people who ask me how I am losing so much weight, so fast. I hesitate to tell people to jump on Stillman's, particularly if they're just starting out with low carb, since Atkins results are usually pretty good and it's an easier plan to follow... For me, I did Atkins the first month, stalled weeks 3 and 4, came here and cleaned things up and am happy with my plan. I am saving A LOT of money on Stillman's too, which is an added benefit

Okay, rambling now... gotta finish reading all the posts.

Atkins is great if it works for you but for me it was too drawn out and agonizing. I'm so glad I found you guys I could scream. And I found you because I lurked the boards for weeks. I can appreciate the newbie status but some don't read old posts before asking a ton of questions, which the vets are only too happy to answer, luckily. I studied hard!

Oooh! Can I be in that challenge??
Actually today will be like the Meat Stillman diet, the one with one meat, 3 times a day! Cos today I had a bowl of ground turkey, a grilled turkey breast and I'm just about to go and grill up another for dim--I got distracted!!!

I'd love turkey burgers--but with onions and ketchup!! Ah well!! Grilled turkey it is so!

Welcome Power!! So glad you joined us!! Getting down the water is tough but I find if its really cold its easier to drink. I get all my bottles filled and ready to go. Some in the fridge and one in the freezer. Take it out and guzzle it. Then pop another one in. (Of course, the easiest way is to add Crystal Light, but it can stall some.)

You are gonna do great!
