Oh...My....Goodness!!!! You didn't do that by caving in to the evil C____________ gods! And I didn't know there was anyone I was "almost" as bad as, regarding my addiction. I used to post a cardboard sign above my desk at work saying "Will Work for C________" and my coworkers knew I wasn't kidding. Must have spent 1/4 my paycheck on it. I've been known to take my lunch hour to go to the grocery store for....not food...yes, for my addiction!

OK, I'm shutting up about it now. I'm now officially addicted to "How Thin Feels." That's the beauty of Stillman's, the weight comes off fast enough so you get a "taste" of that! And I like it!

Woke up early today with muscle spasms in my face. Taking my vitamins seems to do that!! I think I have a deficiency in something. I took magnesium but it hasn't helped yet.

Guess I won't be out seeing prospective customers, it's never good to make faces at people you are trying to sell to. Anyone have a cure for this?

I love you, babe!
Remember that mean girl who went psycho on me? She left Atkins for not losing and started and HCG diet journal thread. After two days of loading (food or the HCG drops-yeah, mess with hormones, that'll work-NOT) she's lost five pounds in two weeks! When I left the board I told her she was too mean and would be fat forever. The karmic circle does turn my friends...

Glad you like the jokes. I would have thought Sunday would be a late night for you. Does the pub close early Sunday?

I have my own clothing thrift store. It's called the attic.

I never tossed my size 8 CK jeans or 7/8 junior jeans. The last time I wore them was around 1992. Never give up!!!!!!!!!

Nervousness? Maybe subconsciously?

Slept wrong? New pillow time?

Hot shower and some ibuprofen or other muscle relaxant? Kava Kava herb? (calms you without sleepiness)

No idea. Try doing facial exercises-now I don't know how to do those really, but I think you like open your mouth wide and stuff!

Good afternoon!

Holy moly you talk a lot (I mean that in a good way!!!). This seems to be the place for English teachers abroad, me too. Thanks for those who answered my questions. I'm already feeling the difference after two days of the repetition diets. I'm on yogurt today.

I'm losing track of who I have to respond to, but I've read back over the posts.

First of all: Congrats to all who've lost weight!

I finished my milk this morning, so I'm going to try and stay off my milky tea for a while (gettingthere, I'm glad someone else can appreciate the extent of this addiction!). I'm going to weigh myself on Thursday, as I had planned to be down to 205 by that date, but I know I won't be after last week.

CC - being this tall is NOT good. No heels, ever, and I love them. Pretty much all men are shorter than me, including my boyfriend, and men in general feel threatened by taller women (luckily not my bf). Clothes and shoes never fit. It's friggin' impossible and the bane of my existence. I'm going to make sure I have kids with someone with shorter genes!

Gwn - I'm in the north of Spain, in Asturias, but I'm moving to Madrid in July. I love Madrid, and I love Barcelona. They are completely different, so there won't be any repetition if you go to both places. There is a much more international feel to Madrid, being the capital. The beauty of Spain is that every region is like a different country and because of that there is no end of variety. I've been to Barcelona about three times, and I will never ever tire of that city. You won't experience another place like it. The majority of the Spanish are constantly berrating Madrid because it's too busy and anonymous, but as a tourist I think it's a great city and I can't wait to live there. The south of France is beautiful too. But I haven't been there since I was a teenager, and I was in the middle of nowhere, so I can't really advise about there. Hope that helps!

Ok. Back to work for me. Will check in later. Have a good day!

I googled facial spasms and maybe magnesium is the answer. I think it's starting to take effect now. However, I will go look for some Kava Kava today, and I did the excercise. I think that stretches the muscles out so the spasms stop, or something.

Today is an early Stillman's rotation start day! I can't wait to be in the 160's!! Bring it!

I beg to differ! For years I, too, thought that heels were off limits. That's baloney! (mmmmmmmmmmm...baloney) Short guys are attracted to tall gals. Heels are sexy. They are tough little men who took beatings and insults all of thier young lives, so they are the real fighters. Always something to prove. Tall guys get by on thier height alone, the intimidation factor of the height saves them a lot of confrontations at a young age. Short guys have been told all their lives that they should pair with shorter gals so the appeal after they get over their short selves is HUGE, they look at tall gals like a mountain goat looks at the mountain-it may be a rocky climb to the top, but the view is worth the effort!

'Sides, I never had a shorty who was lame in the sack..

So grab some heels and let them drool over the Amazon...those miles and miles of leg really kill them!

I sooooooooo don't wear heels. I own a bunch and did the uncomfortable feet thing in college, but as soon as i graduated i started wearing flats LOL. i'm never going back!

Well i did go shoe shopping the other day and kept trying on (low) heels, but couldn't make myself buy them knowing i was unlikely to wear them. I have one pair of black pumps that i pull out for important things like job interviews. But i keep flats in the car and as soon as i am done, i kick the heels off.

Just had a late breakfast of a half can of tuna, spiced with celery seed and horseradish. Now I remember why I don't eat tuna. The coffee with milk wasn't so bad today, it was Starbucks. So maybe I will order a nice Dahlmeyer coffee from GermanDeli.com to treat myself to a gourmet coffee on my Stillman's days!

Up three pounds already from my high fat days, but do I look worried? Okay, maybe a little bit. I'm ready to lose four or five pounds in the next few days!!

I think you will find friendship, support and an occassional shove in the right direction here! We are all on this journey together......and most of us have been "dieting" all of our lives.

Water is an issue with me as well - I use Crystal Light to help. I am a big coffee drinker as well (I just don't count it as my required water intake) so I think overall I take in more than the recommended amount of liquid.

BTW - no offense meant but I think you should change your ID to POWERFUL ....because you ARE powerful (in more ways than you realize).

Nah, I work the day shift on Sunday, which is usually busier than Sunday nights, since it's a very touristy street.

I do like to post on the main board from time to time, I really do, as I remember a lot of posters from when I was here in 2003 but a lot of people are really down on Stillman's and say "you can't do it long term", long term meaning more than a week.

Also, I have another dilemma... I often get private messages from people who ask me how I am losing so much weight, so fast. I hesitate to tell people to jump on Stillman's, particularly if they're just starting out with low carb, since Atkins results are usually pretty good and it's an easier plan to follow... For me, I did Atkins the first month, stalled weeks 3 and 4, came here and cleaned things up and am happy with my plan. I am saving A LOT of money on Stillman's too, which is an added benefit

Okay, rambling now... gotta finish reading all the posts.

OMG . .what a dummy I am. . good thing I have packet O Tuna in my drawer or I'd be starving by the time I got home. . I think 1 packet will tide me over. .

I agree with you Gwn. . Not that I'm losing like crazy on Stillman's but I did have great luck with Atkins in the beginning. .Plus, I think there really is a learning curve to overcome with the low carb lifestyle. I realize that I cannot live the rest of my life without carbs, but I think I am beginning to understand the big differences in them. I will chose my carbs more wisely in the future. . When I started, I was actually terrified to cut carbs. thought I had to have them to survive and even more so thought I could not, not eat them! It is amazing what you can do when you put your mind to it. . I don't miss them most days but every once in a while I get a wiff of something good. . and i think about it. . .

I'm back into burning mode.. burn. baby . . burn! Out damn fat, out I say!
