Hi peeps! Was gonna weigh today but the battery in my scale is gone--kept saying Low-and woudn't do anthing!! (was hoping that Low meant my weight-hee!)Not too upset really--I can tell myself I've lost loads!!!!!!
Menu for yesterday was 2HB eggs, 2 grilled turkey breasts and a bowl of ground turkey!! . Exercise was 40mins Pilates and 1h50 on the bkie.
Miserabe weather again today-45degrees and damp. What else do I have to tell? Em--got rudely woken up by the postman with a parcel from home (with magazines etc--yaaay!) Had to go out to him in my cupcake pjs--he just looked at me!! Oh yeah and I have a pimple--I never get them--and it's really sore. Now that's all my news for the morning!! Having tea and an HB egg!

Favorite way to eat steak? Rub with BAM and grill
Favorite way to eat cottage cheese? plain. I love it.
For you gals that can't stomach it:
drain in a strainer to get most of the liquid out. It makes wonderful faux ricotta, just toss in the blender. After draining and blending:
Add green onion, garlic powder and celery seed for a great ranch dip. Spread roast beef slices with the dip and roll 'em for an appetizer worthy of a party.
Add cocoa powder and splenda for chocolate mousse.
Add lemon juice or extract and Splenda for lemon pudding.
Add to cooked ground beef with seasonings of your choice and a cheat tbsp of salsa for a creamy taco filling style dish.
Add Splenda, tomato paste (tbsp) red wine vinegar and capers for a mock Picadillo (Cuban ground beef)
Add LC BBQ sauce for manwich filling, great for kids only you have to know and no bun for you

I could go on and on.
And don't be afraid of Linda's recipes, just make substitutions! Virtually anything can be made with less fat.

I catered my Dad's wedding reception for 75 people myself. I left for CT on a Friday with all the groceries and started cooking. The food was less than 200.00 and that included the caterer style foil chafing dishes and fuel to keep it all warm.

Lol so serious! Yes it's a west indian thing.....you sauté the onions then add the tuna after about 2 mins add the ketchup, mustard and hot sauce and that's breakfast...usually on a bagel or some type of bread...haven't made it on lc

A lot of scales have been going down lately...they cant keep up with our losses and they are all giving up!!!

Great job on the menu and exercise GT! Girl on a mission! You GO!

sorry about the pimple. I have one too. (but I used my bare minerals today and you cant even see it. I love this stuff!!! I know everyone else hates it..)

Scale was the same..113

5 oz tuna
coffee & cream
5 bottles h2o/CL
1 cup of gross well drained 90% ground beef. (Cooked about 3 cups but couldnt stomach it)
half of chicken breast on the bone w/o skin

Not feeling so hot today..kinda tired...nausaeus..allergies kicking in a bit...thawing out pork chops for the grill later...

I want GT's scale . .mine was up 2 pounds today? I don't get it. .I would say water weight (salt) but I didn't have anything salty, either? O. My water was down a bit but OK. .Nuf about that. . I'm not gonna let it get me depressed and I'm not gonna change my stats yet. . Perhaps tomorrow it'll take some with it. .Yes. . that's it. . it came back so it could take its pesky friends too. .

Favorite way to eat tuna? sprinkled w/ pepper and celery seed, dash of cayenne

Favorite way to eat pork? sprayed lightly with pam and sprinkled w/ onion & garlic powder, s&p, and italian seasoning bake or grill

Had 3 hard boiled eggs for breakfast.

Hey guys! Quick check in, at work and Saturdays are always busy. Scale was exactly the same today and man oh man I cannot complain, I've been losing almost a pound a day for the last 9 or 10 days? Menu today is going to be an egg, coffee and lots of chicken, including the last of my chicken soup... need to make more of that! It's going to be mid-70s today and just perfect weather and I'm in a great mood this morning. Congrats to all you losers today and congrats to all those who are maintaining as well... anything but a gain!! Have a great day everyone, I'll check in when I can! <3

Well I forgot to mention My Best friend are coming to visit me from the States one is coming next week and the other is coming in June, They haven't seen me in almost 2 years- I am meeting my friend at the airport next Saturday-- heheh I bet she won't recognize me- Will let you all in on the updates on Sat. I really can't wait 'till my hubby sees me in July or August-- hehe let him take his time- the longer he takes the thinner I'll be!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
