naw.. never. . People pop in and out of here all the time. Some nights the conversation just goes and goes and other nights, I can hear myself typing away..

Anyway, I just forced my whole family to go on a power walk. they were less than thrilled! The two little ones thought it was awesome but my teenagers. . well, you know.. .Lame, Mom! we actually all sat down to supper tonight and then walked to the movies store from the grocery store. I live out in the country so we had to drive into town to enjoy city walking.. . IM I think that's wonderful that you forced them all to put down the cells and video games and reconnect! How romantic.
Now, if I could get dumba$$ to stop complaining about his aches and pains and go for a walk...............SWEET!
I'm thinking it's getting late and people are settling down to get ready for the work week ahead.......I'm watching the new Jess Stone/Tom Selleck movie..........he's still dreamy at -"Thomas William "Tom" Selleck (born January 29, 1945)-Wikipedia"-holy COW 65!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BTW to compare rural living I am 45 mins from the nearest big box store.......you?

I'm actually very lucky. .I live in the middle of 10 acres but can drive ten minutes either way and find some sort of civilization. . When I was younger, I used to live so far out that the closest fast food place was 2 hours away, JC Penney was just a catalog store and Woolworths was like one of the biggest stores on main street.. The town literally closed up by 6:00 so you had to be prepared on all levels. Nothing open on Sunday except the gas station..

As far as getting them out. . What I have going for me is my hubby is actually doing a version of low carb with me. He does, however, eat more cheese, fat and nuts than I allow myself. He's been at a stall, too but I think he just plain eats too much of the bad stuff. higher fat. . He does not limit the types or kinds of meat he eats. We talked about it tonight and both agreed that we were losing much better when we were walking at least 3 days a week so I told him we have to put that on the agenda starting tomorrow. We work close enough to each other that we can walk on our lunch hour.

errr!

So the first week I did lose 9lbs.! Yay! BUT THEN its been4 days now and NOTHING! WHAT GIVES!? Anyone have any tips!!?? (...and ive followed this exactly.)

eliminate the ways you gain weight without eating. .

1. Rearranging broken cookies
2. when someone else is paying
3. anything with a diet soda
4. cleaning off your kids' plates
5. when you're cooking
6. driving in your car
7. any food you don't like
8. when its for medicinal purposes
9. before exercise
10. after exercies
11. when your mother in law comes in to visit
13. if it's eaten frozen and it's not meant to be
14. Edging a cake

can you drink zero carb egg protein shakes? I found some at netrition.com...no fat no sugar no carbs!?....yes Im desperate for something "sweetish".

Whats on the menu? any hidden carbs? salt? what about your cycle.. Water intake? extra exercise? maybe you are bulding muscle. .

I don't know much about those and have never heard of anyone using them. But my feeling is. . if that's what it takes to keep you on program. . no harm done. . just remember.. the simplier, the better. If you lose with them

I put on my old jeans today just as a reminder of how far I've come. I even forced myself to wear them for awhile.. Made me feel a little better instead of focusing on where I have to go. . I can be thankful for where I've been and that I'm not there any longer!!

Good Morning!!!

I can't imagine how tasty and "sweetish" that could be...you'd be adding it to water....but if you feel it would be enough then try it. The shakes always stall me...but that's me....

I did this a while back and lost 12lbs in 9 days then stalled for 7 days then the scale started moving. I def was frustrated but it started moving. For me..I throw in a higher carb day...go up then the scale starts moving down again...but that's just what I do...

B: Chicken
L: Crabs & Shrimp
D: Grilled Chicken

Water, Water & Water!!!!
Not an egg fan....
This gets boring quick....but it works!
