I bet Gwn is out and about rockin her skinny skirt with spirits in hand!!! Go GWN!!!!! That'll be me tomorrow, minus the skinny skirt!! I plan on wearin my bikini under my shorts/top, to give the appearance that I may be going for a dip, but then convieniently never make it into the pool. That will also keep my drinking in check. can't get drunk for fear of jiggling around in a two piece! That was ok on vacation, but in front of people I know!!!! Forget about it!

Hi guys! On phone, no wifi here, boo! Did I mention there are 17 of us in a 3 bed house, 1.5 baths!? Nuts but it's working out. Last night had 3 meatballs, salad and cheesecake omg it was delicious! Bacon and eggs today and sausage and meatballs and more salad an hour ago. Vodka and SF Redbull too. Staying low carb but feeling a little bloated and having lots of cravings. Keep wanting a second plate of everything but I've been stopping myself, I know it's all mental. Miss you all, have a great weekend!

Al, forgive my ignorance...now and forever but was this from a book or was Daisy a poster on the boards? Is there a link?

Daisy was a member here who highlighted all the key points of the "Thin Commandments" book. Really good stuff there, that was buried deep in an old thread.

I will post the rest once a day, so's not to bog down the system. Plus, we will need time to let the commandments sink in.

Hey all!! Wow I have alot to catch up on! The weekends are BUSY on this thread! I've been busy busy. Esp. At work! Omg what a mad house! I have been doing good still, and shaking my shake weight! Got a Summer dress, so you all know I want to be able to wear it this summer. It's spaghetti straps, and I haven't worn that in a long time, due to my bat wings, hehehe! Hope all is doing well, gotta run! Some friends are coming by. Miss you and love you all! Have a safe and wonderful Holiday. If ya cheat, get right back on it the next day. Tom is supposed to visit Memorial Day, but I'll still be good. Plenty o' drinks at my house tho.....

Ok, not such a good day as planned due to alcohol consumption which then led on to some not so Stillmanesque food. Not too high in cals though. Will be back again tomorrow being good as gold. Promise. Night all.

Today was the last day of upping the calories and fat for me. We'll see if it moves the scale down in a couple of days.

My menu today:

B: 6 oz hamburger - grilled
S: SF Jello
L: 3 grilled Bratwurst with spicy mustard
D: 1/2 cup Cottage Cheese with Cinnamon and Splenda

I got a gallon of water in and my vitamins as well. I feel bloated - I hope this high fat and higher calorie eating is worth it

I am NOT a cottage cheese lover but I used my mini hand blender to make it smooth and added 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon and 1/2 teaspoon Splenda to 1/2 cup cottage cheese and I actually liked it.

The following is from the October 2009 Stillman's thread. I thought I would repost it as a reminder

"The crystal light makes me eat more - plus, its got 8 carbs for every half gallon. (Even the walmart off brand...just cause it says 0 carbs doesnt mean they arent there) So - u drink a gallon of it - thats 16 carbs. And sure, in the grand scheme of things - 16 isnt bad considering we get 0 from all the protein. BUT - if ANY carbs stimulate the appetite for you (like with me) youre getting the appetite stimulation PLUS the risk of not losing any weight.

I dont trust nutrition labels. Certain "diet" foods - if its under some number they dont have to list it. I cant remember the details - BUT, people think they are consuming stuff with practically nothing in it, which isnt the case. These "free" foods add up. Splenda has 1 carb per packet, and if youre drinking stuff w/splenda PLUS crystal light, PLUS, all the others - you could be taking in 20 - 30 carbs without realizing it."

WE need to be our own food "watchdogs"! Read labels and if it says <1 Carb we should do some additional research AND keep track of what and how much we eat and drink.

I used to be a big diet pop drinker, and the aspartame especially gave me cravings and stalled weight loss! I save diet pop for special ocassions only, and try to drink the Splenda sweetened ones, Diet Rite or Food Lion brand. Otherwise its water, water, and more water!! I don't get nearly as hungry when I'm not doing the diet drinks.
