Its too tough sometimes to plan ahead like that..just thinking out loud..
I'd love to eat some of the things you guys do, but I can't get some of it here. I love tuna, but it's oil packed (as is ALL of the canned fish). Grond meat doesn't specify fat content, and having eaten the ground beef, I KNOW it is really fatty, so don't want to bother with the ground turkey. So fish, chicken breast, and eggs is all that I have. I think it's a good idea to change calories around every day so your body doesn't get used to a certain amount (not that I'm doing that!). Have any of you had more success sticking to the same meal? I'm not one to go on as I'm only on day 10, so I'm expecting to see a slight slowing of the weight loss soon enough.

Well for weeks I basically ate turkey and eggs. Eggs for breakfast and then grilled turkey breast for the rest of the day. Actually come to think about it the only things I eat are eggs , turkey and tuna. And because i really don't like tuna anymore (I used to) there's been less and less. The ground turkey here is ok-there's I think max 3%fat. Mostly I eat grilled turkey breasts on a George Foreman grill.

But Kamills even if it doesn't specify the fat content in the ground turkey it should be ok because there's really not that much fat in turkey anyway. Yeah it would have more than a breast because it'll have the brown meat as well, but it's no where near ground beef.
I think I should be right but if anyone knows better then type up!!

GT, I find it's much easier to stick to certain foods and cycle them. No need to think. Autopilot eating.

Just checked my journal and I went 120 days before I had chicken legs!! So, it took me 17 weeks to lose 52 pounds on QWL, with one other day in there that I had 2 hotdogs. Doesnt seem like much compared to the other all-stars, and you know who you are!!!!

I think the cheeky basttards grind up fat too. I don't trust 'em. Maybe I'll try it soon though.

Yeah me too! I'm just on autopilot in the supermarket too-could walk round there with my eyes shut!! Get the eggs, go over to the turkey fridge, pass by the tuna and wonder if I should get a couple of cans, go get the long-life milk-cos it's only it that's skimmed and then to the check-out!

Ohhh, beef isn't on my menu at all. I may have some once a month or so. And I hate hate hate pork. So none of that either. You've convinced me about the turkey. I'll try it next week. But funnily enough, price wise, it's almost cheaper to buy chicken breasts.

Wooo Weee. Thought I would just pop in for a minute and catch up and I'm already 4 pages behind. . That's OK .. I'll have something to do while I work on payroll tonight. Got home . . made the kids a fun new recipe I found online. . The little ones wouldn't even eat it. . the big ones had something else going on. . so here I sit with a big ole pan of pasta . . cheese. . eek. . I'm not even going to describe it further. .

Then, My other son has a banquet tonight. guess what it is. . A Dessert Banquet for Band!!! OMG> . I asked if he would be terribly offended if I skipped that part and just showed up for the awards ceremony (he really thinks he did well on try-outs for drum major. crossing my fingers . . but if truth be known. his band director llikes all the cute girly girls so I wonder. MMmmm) He seems OK with it. . I am such a bad mom. . I sent him there empty handed, too. . It is 100 degrees here. . I refuse to bake especially if I can't eat it! Last year (I was on a diet , too) there were so many desserts that I thought my kids would go into a coma.

So. . My will power is pretty weak today . . I just needed to not be there. . Ya know. . Now, if I can only muster up enough to toss the dinner to the dogs. . we will all be happy. . Menu today:

B - Talapia - Lemon Pepper
L - 1 Cup salad with 1 Green Pepper Slice and 2 cherry tomato - Vinegar and grilled chicken. . MMm. I was in heaven!!
S- Boiled Egg
S - Too hot, yet. hoping nothing. .I need th e booste.

I did break down and have one flavored water today. It was in my refrigerator at work and was calling me. . MMmmm. .the rest. .all water. . one tea. . 1/2 cup coffee . .

Still exhausted. .perhaps its the heat. I might have to turn the air on. .

Oh buy the chicken then--I don't think turkey's a miracle food!! I used to eat loads of chicken it's just it's the opposite here-turkey is cheaper!! And slightly tastier I'd say!
At home I eat the pre-cooked pre-packed chicken pieces but you can't get those at all here. I really miss them!!

Yes Al, repeating GT, 50lbs in 4 months is incredible too. Hell, I'd be happy with 50lbs in a year! You are just as much an all-star as everyone else. It's not a race remember

Ahhh yes, I remember pre-cooked chicken pieces, back in the day. Can't believe it's been nearly three years since I've been back to the UK.

Nope. Left for Chile in August 2007. Went back in Dec 2007 for two months. Back to Chile in Feb 2008, then came straight to Spain in Sept 2009. Massive family falling out, and not much to get me to go back, to be honest. But I keep meaning to go back to visit my best mate, but life keeps getting in the way. Hopefully Dec of this year to mark my 3 year anniversary.... Night night!!!!

I basically eat the same thing every day.
1 HB egg for breakfast (occasionally 2 hours later, I have another egg), 6-7 ozs of chicken OR 1 tuna packet for lunch, 6-8 ozs chicken for dinner.

Hi everyone! Okay... stopped at the grocery store and picked up the rest of the items I needed for cheesecake. Oh man, I don't know what I got myself into with this. Water bath? Different setting for a gas stove? I have no light or window to this stove so I can't check on it and if I do, I might crack it?? Crack the oven door open and let the cheesecake cool for one hour?? I can't believe people actually like baking, with all this work!!! Maybe I'm just complaining because stillman's has made it so darn easy for me to cook most things in under a few minutes!!

makemeslim, hiya again! And lots of that everything turns out well at the doc. You too, kamills!

I am cooking up a pound of ground chicken. Never had ground chicken... Should be good, maybe I'll make some soup? I have a feeling if I don't, I'll eat the whole pound of ground chicken in one sitting! It's supposed to rain and the clouds are dark... I hope it passes because I want to do my 12 mile bike ride later on!

Okay, check in with you all later on!

The funny thing is, I used to do that all the time, but in reverse. Like when I first started, I'd weigh in at say, 221 and I'd think to myself, I'm gonna be outta the 20s soon and 119. lolol, always saying 1 when I meant 2 but subconsciously I guess I really meant and wanted 1!

Wow, I love when we are quite the chatty bunch! I spent my day off mostly outside. Now it is pouring out! This weather is crazy. Yesterday it was 92, today is only in the 60's and windy and now pouring. I added veggies to my diet today. Cucumbers, olives, and lettuce. I even kicked butt on my shake weight and did 20 minutes of dancing around my house. Memorial Day is Monday, is everyone sticking on plan?
