I'm having a complete fat day. One of those days where I just want to hide under a rock and hide. Like there's this huge bulge of a stomach just muffin topping all over my pants. (as funny as that sounds) Guilt from my high fat day, I think... Carrying around those 2 extra pounds... Definitely retaining water... And in a week-ish I'm going to get a visit from TOM and all the loveliness that jerk brings!! Grrrr. Just venting, sorry ;/

Ahhhhhhhhh.....I just took a long, hot Peppermint jacuzzi bath. Should have been doing other things, but it was calling my name. Yeah, the tub was saying, "Yam-Yam, come here!" This CVS brand Peppermint sea salt bath potion is just amazing. I got the water really hot and the bubbles turned on high then poured in half a cup of the bath salt. Felt like a massage. Oooooooooo...Hoping the hot water will melt some fat. I always picture it like butter that melts in heat. Lol. That's crazy but I'm trying to think myself thinner.

My mantra is: fatbegonefatbegonefatbegone....uh-oooooom

Now I feel re-energized and am starting to make a dent in my to-do list.

Vent away, Girl! This is the place to do it and there is always a sympathetic ear here for you!!!

The fact that you can actually feel that extra 2 pounds is really good news. Remember when we were at our heaviest and didn't even seem to notice we were carrying all that blubber around? lol. I'm a big fan of getting something that weighs as much as the total weight I've lost and carrying it around for a while. Like a 10 pound bag of potatoes or something.

I bought a weight vest for exercise a few years ago. It has all these pockets and comes with a bunch of 1 lb. weights. You can put the weights in the pockets (I have enough to add 25 pounds to my body). Then you go for a walk, or get on the elliptical or treadmill and it's supposed to increase your calorie burn and increase your muscles and bone mass by strengthening them.

sometimes I put it on and then vacuum the house. When I'm done, I'm sweating. I'm gonna remember to do that when I get to where I have lost 25 lbs. (Ugh. will I ever get there?)

You would be amazed at how different it feels and you say, did I really carry all that around? Encouraging too.

You were venting and now I am bantering....just staying here and trying to get out of work. lol.
