Having a really hard time and need to stick it out through induction!

MAJOR cravings and hunger. I know I'm at the cusp and am trying to stick it out. I've had a couple of peanut butter cheats and overate on plain meat. I'm trying!

Just checking in for the night. Had a pretty good day. Got about 8-10 miles of biking in. Discovered parts of the city I've never really been too, that's always an adventure, sometimes better than others. They're currently putting in a fitness room in the building I live in. I am super excited about this!! Now I will have access to some equipment at any hour of the day without leaving home.

I ate well today though I do feel bloated. I had 2 eggs & 1 big slice of deli ham plus coffee for breakfast. Lunch and dinner were both grilled chicken with some hot sauce. I'm wondering if the ham or the hot sauce has me feeling a bit bloated? I'm sure it'll be gone by tomorrow. Just things I need to be aware of to avoid in the future. IDK what I'm going to eat tomorrow morning, out of lean breakfast meats. grrr. I'll figure something out, I guess.

Okay whoosh fairy, we all want a piece of you so listen up!! Please come see me tonight and get me into onederland <3 k, thanks.

Have a great night everyone!! Stay focused, stay committed. If you're having a craving just block it out and don't eat the things that trigger those cravings!!

Nermo that is great send her my way I promise to send her on when I get mine.

Everyone else please stick with it, the scale will start moving again you just have to be patient and I know we don't have much of that sometimes.

I am posting pictures of me from my start and from my low carb anniversary back in January. This way of life has changed everything for the better for me.

Nermo- your stats are lower than I started at but I know you can do this. It is work, never easy but so worth it. I struggled for a reason. I am actually swollen in that picture from my surgery. This is the best thing I have ever done for me.

Well I have packed my hamburger and hard boiled eggs for the day here at work. I am still up 2 pounds, I hope to have it off and maybe 2 more before next Friday.

Come on every one lets have a great on plan day.

Well no "Whoosh Fairy" here but no "Scale Devil" either. The stats remain the same.......sigh

This is the point where I would have gone off plan in the past - so THANK YOU everyone for blazing the trail ahead of me, sharing your experiences and for your encouragement.

Yam - I am waiting too - just NOT so patiently I am continuing on plan, drinking more than a thirsty camel, taking my vitamins (checked to make sure they contain no hidden sugar/carbs) - so I know that eventually the Whoosh Fairy will visit.

Is today better for you? I hope so. We all know what you are going through and can sympathize. I still get "hunger" pangs over certain items but I really KNOW that is is in my head not my stomach (especially if I just ate). I think it is one of the lessons that we (ME) need to learn - how to tell when we are truly hungry instead of just WANTING something. I need to retrain my brain to send signals at the appropriate times (commercials be damned).....

I am a "work in progress"

Yeah, but, what if it is real hunger- I'm only eating about 1200-1400 calories per day- I'm trying to also trust my body and think it's not that outlandish to have honest hunger at those calorie levels.

I will try harder to satisfy that hunger with pure meat or eggs and will post my loss, if any, with my menu today. Today is a new day!

Hi Miggs! Starting out is tough but I think you got some really great advice from the others!!! I pigged out on meats in the beginning of my journey. Double and triple portions! If you can get past the first 3-4 days, the appetite will be gone. Promise. Go to sleep if you have to. I sure did! I have a feeling you are gonna do great!

D: 2 turkey burgers

Stay strong!

Hello everyone... Well I slipped into ONEderland overnight... Just barely but I am there and I am holding on for dear life!! My nails are literally clenching to that 1 and it's not going anywhere!!! Bwhahahahahahaha! Ah yes, I will consider it completely legit in a few days when I'm a few pounds into the club.

I literally felt like a big brick of lead when I woke up this morning. My eyelids felt like they had lead weights on them too! I got 8 full hours of sleep last night, maybe more? I also felt rested. Aside from my bike ride to work and back, I am not going to exercise today... Give my body a rest. I also think I should be losing a bit more than I am, given my exercising... Maybe it is building muscle after all?? I consumed 700 calories yesterday and with my hour plus of biking, I burned about 350 calories, not to mention being on my feet at work all day... But it was just half a pound that got me into onederland. I don't know. Anyway, I felt totally fine after I got moving.... Maybe I was just in a really deep sleep?

Needless to say, my scheduled high fat day tomorrow is not going to happen. I'm going to wait until my next day off from work, which will be next Wednesday... Unless of course I feel like I desperately need it before then.

bdladie, thanks for sharing your pics with us. You are a true inspiration and you've accomplished so much, you look like a completely different person!

nermo, congrats on the loss!!

swebb, I was literally loling at the thirsty camel comment. I definitely drank well over a gallon yesterday... The heat, I am sure, had something to do with it...

miggs, if you are still hungry, I would say to eat more meat. For your weight, I think your calories are a bit low, at least for this phase of your loss. Hang in there, it's so worth it!!

YAY

Just don't come East - the pollen count is so high you will gain 10 pounds just by being outside and having it stick to you (Yuck!).

I think I need to step up the exercise (or maybe just START!) to break this stall I am in

Congrats again - you are on your way DOWN

Is this Biggest Loser (BL) Camp? Are you really gonna go? You should sign up, pretend to eat the veggies and then refuse to exercise- You'll amaze everyone with your results!

ugh, too late, I'm in Philadelphia. Maybe that's why it's taken me forever to get there and I felt bloated yesterday? This heat wave has been insane. Supposed to drop 20 degrees tomorrow and stay there for a while.
