My menu today and tomorrow:

B: 5oz Chicken breast
Caffeine Free Diet Coke (16 oz)
Multi Vitamin, 2 Flax Oil Capsules
Water
S: 5oz Chicken breast
2 cups coffee
Water
L: Canned Tuna (packed in water), drained w/o condiments
Water
S: Sliced Turkey
Water
D: Rare Tuna w/wasabi
Water
Cup of coffee

Maybe my weight loss has slowed because of all the Red meat I have been eating???? So I will try this for a couple of days and see if this menu gets the scale moving downward.

Thoughts?? Suggestions??

Back on it Today

welll...... I avoided a binge yesterday which was SO HARD. Normally if I eat something like that fruit cake (this has happening about once every three weeks lately) I just say F-It and end up eating fast food and haagen daas to top it off!

I did NOT eat any more sugar carbs but did end up eating not stillman's style. More like Atkins... well i'm glad I didn't go off the carb deep end at least.

Back on with Stillmans today eggs and some 97% FF Turkey Bacon planned for today.

In happy news my new doctor appointment is tomorrow and I am SO HOPEFUL he will help me and get me back to where I can lose weight again (I haven't lost a pound and have actually gained a few in the last eighteen months)

Wanted to tell you more good news today. I took my measurements and I'm finally down! Down 1 whole inch on my hips!!! I knew I felt thinner! Lost 1/2 inch on the puppies and for some reason I can fit into one of my favorite pink bras, a size smaller, that I have not been able to wear for months! My waist stayed the same and I'm bummed about that. But, oh, well.....it's not gonna happen all at once.

I was brave enough to do the body monitor for fat% and soooooooo tickled that it has gone down 4.5% since I started on March 22. Yippeeee-Kai-YAY!!!
That's awesome news, Yam!

Hi everyone!

Scale was up to 201 today. I knew I'd gain a pound from my high fat day yesterday. I also had two cups of lettuce. Back to lean meats today... Now with the new scale I'm sooo motivated to get to ONEderland!!! I made a cheeseburger for dinner last night and I kid you not when I say, I still feel full from it. I had this burger at like 6pm and it's now noon!! It's going to be close to 90 degrees today. Tomorrow is supposed to be 92. Where did spring go, we flew right into summer!!

I've caught up with all the reading, thanks so much to all who posted the inspirational stuff... It's always a feel good moment when I read it. My friend and I had a long talk about low carbing yesterday... she started this low carb journey the same day as I did. She is not doing Stillman's but is doing a very low carb version of Atkins. She's lost 24lbs and usually has 1 night of drinking per week. I could still lose if I drank but it'd be slower and when I am drunk, I usually make really bad decisions about what to eat, pizza always sounds like a good idea, ha. Therefore, no drinking for me!

ilpirata, congrats on avoiding the binge! That's exactly how I am... If I have a small goof, I say, to hell with the day, I'll go on induction tomorrow... don't you know tomorrow I'm so overwhelmed with cravings, I say, well it's friday, let me just finish off the weekend and I'll do induction on Monday. Before I know it, I'm completely avoiding the scale for weeks and when I do finally step on it 3 months later I'm like how'd I gain 25lbs!? Agh. Hope you're not overcome with any cravings today!!

I had these left over from giving them to a dog of mine who had cancer BUT I just finished doing some reading and I think they are going out in the next trash dump (I really hate to waste food/money )

Here is just one of the articles I read (there were several others that supported this article). Side Effects of Flax Seed Oil - Nutrition

Seems that Flax Seed Oil is not as benefical as Fish Oil and can actually go rancid fairly quickly (and the raw seeds as well). So I will throw out the Flax and go get some Fish Oil.

Can't believe I forgot to weigh myself this morning! That's unheard of. DH had an early meeting so it was still dark when I got up and I was really groggy. Went through the motions, got him off to work, then the phone rang and it was DD in a very talkative mood and we were on the phone for about 2 hours. Fun. I love it when we just drink coffee and talk about everything under the sun.

Now I'm thinking if I step on the scale it won't be accurate because I usually do it first thing in the morning, in my birthday suit.

Oh well, I will be brave and go do it now. BBL

Good morning! I'm down 3.5 pounds from yesterday, but I was holding a lot of water weight and I'm inducing...

B: 3 scrambled eggs
L: 8oz turkey burger with mustard
S: 2 eggs
D: 8oz lean pork chop with mustard (and maybe 1 cup of lettuce with 1T dressing...I'm just so hungry...I'll stop after induction?)
S: 2 eggs-getting hungry at about 9pm...

Well I am taking the plunge and have made an appointment for a custom bra fitting at the Intimacy store near me. I have read the reviews (both good and bad) and decided that I REALLY needed a great Sports Bra if I am going to seriously do this C25K

I will be happy to post my "experience" if you guys want to hear it.

I am hoping they can also recommend some (not too expensive) shape-wear as well.

I gave up on finding a good sports bra, I wear my regular bra and throw a sports bra over it and it's the perfect combination. Comfortable, no uniboob, no real worry over them bouncing around.

Yeah, I have basically given up finding Sports Bras as well I may have to rely on duct tape and ace bandages if I can't find one of those "no bounce" ones that fit me (think Dolly Parton without the tiny waist/hips )

Since I will be showing a dog in California in the near future I don't want to add to their earthquake woe's

Hey Everbody!!! Ive missed so much in 24 hours...

YAM- Its so nice to "see" you!!! You so look like the mom and not the grandmom! So pretty! Thanks for sharing.

Hi Miggs! Welcome to the group!!! GTs right- You look to have everything under control! Great menus!

To all the losers! Great job!!! To those finding themselves in a stall...may the whoosh fairy strike down upon you with a vengeance tonight!!!

It been all ground turkey all day for the last two days, maybe three. Had a couple of bites of ground beef today (drained the fat) and Im waiting on my 20 lb turkey to finish roasting. You know what that means! Lots of soup!

Been taking my vitamins- thx Gwn!

And yesterday I did a lot of running around with the kids and the little boy across the street. Baseball, dodgeball, duck duck goose, hide and seek. Yesterday was supposed to be my C25K rest day, but I feel fine. I admittingly did not do my run today (supposed to be 3 minutes). Problem is, I feel weird about running down my street. The other day was in my empty parking lot at work. Perhaps I'll wait til its dark and make a run for it.. IDK... I should force myself but I really dont want to....

Had a great day today. Didn't have much of an appetite. Had 2 eggs, 3 slices canadian bacon and coffee for breakfast. Between lunch and dinner, I snacked on about 9ozs grilled chicken. I just cube the chicken and eat a few bites here and there since I'm never hungry enough to eat the whole breast at once.

I biked about 10 8-10 miles today I'm pretty beat.

al, I like the idea of going for a run after dark, provided it's safe, or early in the morning. When I lived in Phoenix, the development I lived in had an awesome pool but I was way too insecure to go in during daylight hours. It supposedly closed at 9pm but I'd sneak in after hours and get my workout in. Hope you find some sort of routine that works for you!

Have a great night everyone, let's all dream of the whoosh fairy tonight and hope for her to show up!!

I had a severe reaction to the carbs i had. I have reactive hypoglycemia. If i even eat fast releasing carbohydrates I crash bad then need carbs to pick me back up again then two to 4 hours later it's the same cycle! UHHHH!!! That damn crusty corner of that brownie took my body on a roller coaster ride.

I'm doing much better and will continue with the tuna, eggs and cottage cheese the rest of the week and into the weekend! I wanna weigh monday. I think my period will be here by then!

Well WTG for the ppl who are sticking to their guns and eating their meat!

To those of us who had some issues with self control, all we can do is forgive ourselves for the past and do our best to get back on track!

For those of us who had the scale jump up instead of down, don't get discouraged the scale will move back down soon!

Have a great night everyone!

Yes. . self control was an issue for me today. I've never drifted so far from the boat as I did today. .we volunteered to help with a church dinner tonight and left home shortly after 5:00. .I packed boiled eggs,. .cheese and some ground beef incase we got hungry/ .I refused the mashed potatoes.. politely declined the ice cream. .left the blueberry cobbler behind.. did not try the sweet potatoes. . What happened when I cleaned the tables off. . The stupid bread baskets. .OMG.. I ate a roll . .I ate another roll and then I came home and ate more "stuff" . .I'll spare you the details . .but I'm so embarrassed..I hate carbs. . why are they so evil and why do they make me eat them? They were not good. they did not taste good and they only made me feel worse. . Note to self: CARBS are evil, devil's spawn, I tell you. . Why O why am I soo stupid? Just a reminder. Nothing.. and I do mean nothing. .tastes as good as thin feels! Hubby and I made a secret pact.. .we are doing this no matter what!

Well, I had a glass of champagne on Easter, etc. and that makes me gain a ton of water weight...

Side note, I've found that fat, as well as sweet, causes cravings.

Sorry it has taken me so long to check in but I am back and sticking with plan through my surgery date. I just really want to be under 160 by surgery but I am up a little from Easter. 2 pounds to be exact. I am walking every day and eating clean.

I will try to read what has happened in the last few days but not sure when. Work is pretty busy right now with me taking a week off.

I hope everyone has an on plan day.
