It's really not that significant unless of course you're adding something to it. With all that fluid, you are probably like me, in the bathroom every 20 minutes lol. ![]() |

i would definitly cut down on the coffee a bit maybe make it 3 cups a day for a while u know like breakfast, lunch. and dinner try that for a few days and see! I think you will see better results |

Finally got the "go ahead" from the doctor to begin a light exercise program - NO LIFTING!
![]() SO...... Beginning Monday I am going to do the "Couch to 5K" Program - My goal will be to enter and FINISH a 5K Charity event in the Fall. I have NEVER been a runner (walker, yes) so this will be a BIG challange for me. I have my check list: IPhone C25K App, Better shoes (correctly fitted), a MUCH better BRA (don't want an earthquakes in the Southeastern part of the US ) and friends to support and harrass me..........oh......and cut back on the coffee ![]() got it............ Ok, I feel pathetic. I made my husband hide the cookies he made last night. Easy to guess, isn't it? This afternoon, I found them and ate enough of them that I feel sick. Now I have to go all thru ketosis, more cravings and everything all over again. Not to mention that I feel like an immature, ridiculous, overweight, most definitely middle-aged woman. Is there anything worse?
Trying to salvage something here. 1) Even though my appetite is nil, I should never go down too low in fat/calories. It leads to feelings of either deprivation or sets up cravings. 2) Never, never, never eat too much salt--as in pork rinds or cracklings. I did know this before. It also makes me crave. 3) Wine is probably not a good idea. For some reason today, I've been craving like anything. Hence, I did a search for cookies. Why was I craving today? Wine from yesterday? Pork products from yesterday? 4) Being a stay at home mom of a young child and also a homeschooler can get me feeling very antsy sometimes. Especially when doing math. I need to schedule more fun escapes for both of us. The tension is bad for me. If I think of anything else, I'll be sure to bore you with it. I'm looking forward to April when I can rid myself of most of this excess. You know, even 10lb lost and I might be able to wear some of last year's spring/summer clothes. I'm closing this month of March in doom and desperation! But, I'm still hopeful. I want to feel that I'm in control, not my cravings or my moods but that I control at least what I eat. I can't control my children perhaps, the economic situation or even my health, but I can control my food intake. I hope that during April, I will remain in control. A month of no cheats? Worthwhile goal or too stringent? |

Do NOT beat yourself up! It was only ONE day. Even Dr Stillman recognized the fact that we will sometimes have a lapse. Just start again..... Is it possible to ask your DH to NOT make cookies??? Maybe if he is feeling the need for a treat he can take himself and the kids to go get ice cream (gives you some peace and quiet )Sometimes a craving is our body telling us we are dehydrated! (I know this sounds strange but it's true). You may be dehydrated - especially after the wine and the salt. We all KNOW you can do this! teapot- as our good friend Dustin would say, get back on the horse! You've done it already and lost quite a few pounds. march was madness and April will be amazing. We believe in you! (Its so tough being in the house all day with kids, especially if they are eating grilled cheese and cheezits...my biggest downfalls. Actually, I used to eat all the PB&J crusts the kids wouldnt touch. hated to waste! and hubbys that make cookies????!! Ask him not to until you have a few good weeks under your belt. Oh yeah mine!!! I'm not sure I'm that brave! No actually I went looking last night(see you were shaming me into posting them---well I never want to be left out!) and I was looking through the picks and I had deleted everyone that I had when I was-well let's say bigger!1 I got rid of them all cos I just couldn't bare to look at them-they were taken in the Summer and I was huge! .....but unfortunately friends have some I think so I might get one!!! I really thought I would never lose the weight so I trashed them--I'm a bit sorry now!
