Well another day to get back on track. TOM is coming and I really have had 3 losey days. I packed tuna for the day so today will be much better. I did eat an all beef hotdog for breakfast. I need fast I am running late today. Even though I ate bad I did make sure I got my 30 minutes of walking in. I will try to add to that today.

Day 21. The scale is down 1/2 pound (the same 1/2 pound I have gained and lost a couple times now). I upprd my water, cut back on the caffeine (I have a MONSTER headache this morning), and am being more diligent about 5-6 small meals/day. Hoping the 1/2 STAYS gone and a few of its friends join it
![]() I also upped my fat intake the last couple of days - bad idea as my intestines obviously cannot handle it right now ('nuff said). ![]() Sharon |

Can you try upping your portions of chicken, turkey and tuna? Like have two chcicken breasts instead of one.. You might want to keep your calories a little higher, so you dont get stuck on low calories forever.. Hope all is well and you come back soon!!! |

uh.oh... shouldve warned you about this.... I may also add something terribly gross..if you do take in too much fat, lets say you eat 70/30 ground beef and dont drain it.....you will probably end up vomiting... be very careful adding fat.. slowly is key. Again, this pertains to not eating any carbs.

Thank you so much for all your suggestions and for telling me what you ate. It is so helpful. I did drink wine last night and too much fat from the butt roast I made my family. I also ate some pork cracklings, but no carbs other than wine. My weight is up 2 lbs, but at least I didn't have any of the cookies my husband made.
So today, my stomach is very upset. I think the eating yesterday was stress related because of the doctor's app't. I could have also legimately been craving fat--that does happen to me if I eat too lean for too long. Sometimes I used to buy just fat from the store and eat it. It didn't make me lose, but I didn't gain either. And I love fatty beef ribs. I think I'll try not quite so low fat--in fact, today I'll have a nice high fat day with hamburger for lunch and sirloin for dinner. And I did already go for a nice walk. I know it's not much, but I have to do baby steps. Now I have to change my stats to reflect the gain... |

Let us know how the multiple small meals work out for you. Also, how much water are you drinking now? I drink a gallon of water a day, without fail but I cannot give up my morning cup of coffee! I use 1tsp half and half and I'm not gonna apologize for it. That and the headaches are not worth it so I give you a lot of credit... ![]() |

Good afternoon everyone! Finally get to change the stats today! Down 1lb. TOM is still here so I won't complain about wanting more than 1
Anyway... menu yesterday was pretty bland and I was only able to eat half my dinner as I just got full really fast. I am averaging about 750-800 calories on my stillmans days, do you guys think that's okay or maybe too low? You know how it is with just not having an appetite. |

I wonder about the calories, too. I do find that when I go too low, my weight loss seems to slow "sometimes" and sometimes not. I wish there were a foolproof way to do this thing of losing weight. When I do low calories though, it's sometimes under or about 500. That's what I did on Monday, and I think the low calories plus seeing the doc set me up for cravings.
GWN, Great losses! Have you lost that much since Feb. 13th? And you are very pretty with an elegant neck! |

The best thing about not eating carbs is you dont have to count. Eat meat and let your body do the rest. I dont think my makeup is any different than anyone elses. I think eventually your body will adapt and can be free from counting, weighing, measuring, etc. Against what we think would be true, my body eliminates everything it doesnt need. GT added up my calories the other day at 3000. I dont weigh any more today than I did the day I pigged out. I hope you guys get to experience this too.
only obstacle is..you cant eat veggies. |

But Aleriaaa, I don't eat veggies and I don't eat carbs (usually except for wine...) and I still can't eat as you do. Believe me, I want to. My lunch of ground hamburger meat was delicious, and I dread going back to leaner meats. And I do gain weight when I overeat on meat. The sad thing is that for me, overeating doesn't even have to be too much. Certain meats also make me gain--like fatty pork or even my beloved beef ribs. I believe you can eat the way you do. I hope I will be able to. Maybe my metabolism is just messed up. Maybe my age, my hormones, etc. But I seem to need to count protein, fat even though I'm not eating carbs....I wish I didn't.

Hey Peeps! I have been MIA. I know. But it was fun. Had the opportunity for a day off yesterday. I took a day off Stillman's too. I don't feel bad about it. It was worth it. Without saying too much....it involved wine. And chocolate. Oh, bread. And cheese! ha! 'nuff said.
I'm back on track today. But my grandies have the week off school and they are with me now 'til Saturday. They love their Gramma Yam-Yam! We are off to go horseback riding right now. That should be an adventure. I will BBL to catch up on posts when I get a chance. Have a great day!

There i go again being a meathead....
My weight also jumped around a lot in the beginning depending on what meats I ate...lean was fast, fatty was slow, go back to lean and lose again..It's been months...more months than any sane person would endure...I hope you find what works for you, and I will totally ease up on my meat talks. sometimes I get carried away in the excitement of it!! ![]() |

I know it's crazy how ridiculous we can be sometimes... I keep saying to myself, why haven't I lost more weight!?! But that averages out to about 4.5lbs a week so how greedy can I get? We are always in a hurry to get the weight off lol but have to remember, it didn't come on overnight (though sometimes it feels like it did) and we gotta take it off one pound at a time. lolol now next week when i'm freaking because I've gone two days in a row without a loss, I will try to remember this but I'll still freak out.

I usually drink 96 ounces of water and TWO pots (12 cups each ~ 32 ounces/pot) of coffee. So that is about 160 ounces of liquid/day. I really have to MEASURE my water as opposed to just filling my glass - I lose track of how many times I actually fill the glass during the day ![]() I love the taste of coffee so I will just switch over to Decaf. This may be where my slow down is........ The first 10 days or so I ate really lean meats and saw the most weight loss. Then I was feeling sluggish and tired so I tried upping the fat by eating fatty meats. My weight loss slowed and even has stalled. ![]() Turkeys are on sale right now so I bought a couple to roast and have on hand. The weather is finally warm enough to grill out so I will be doing lots of grilled chicken breasts as well. Hopefully the weight loss will speed up a little in the next week or so (and the bathroom trips will slow down )I will keep you all (y'all) posted. Sharon |
