Ya think if I change my "goal" weight back to 145, I'll start losing again? Perhaps I'll try that for April. . April is my month. . I have to lose something because I promised myself I would feel better before I got any older. . so I have until the end of the month for my new awakening. .

Remember. . if it Jiggles, Ladies. . It's fat!!! Eowwww and Uggg. . (Don't blame me . .It is night here, after all. . )

Just thinking of a benefit of weight-loss--for me anyway! I notice that handbags fit on my shoulder-had some that I know were meant to be worn on the shoulder but they wouldn't fit if I was wearing a coat and the handles were shortish--I had massive arms
And those chairs in outdoor cafes with holes in the side-well nothing oozes out anymore-if you know what I mean!! And actually there was a cafe that we used to always go to and the steel bit of the chair was sticking in really uncomfortably just before I started to lose weight-now there's plenty of room!
But I just think the confidence thing is thee best thing ever--you don't feel as tho everyone is staring at you-like what Im2 said-you can blend in. And you feel people are more pleasant and smile more. I don't really know if people were less friendly when I was bigger. I was wondering about that or is it because I wasn't happy or confident.
I have to always remember the difference of how I feel now and how I felt overweight if I ever feel like putting my hand in the cookie jar!! It's true tho I don't think any chocs or sweets are worth swapping this confidence for!!

Well I am back form my weekend out of town and it was a lot of fun. Did not eat perfect but back on track today. My surgery is now April 16th so I have an extra week to get to that magic 155.

Nope. Nothing is better than being happy and loving ourselves! Everything else after that seems to just follow. I can now enjoy everything life has to offer..except chocolates..

In regards to the pantyhose....I couldnt even wear them overweight... I would wear the fake out knee highs.... Now thats bad... so not sexy!

Its such a miserble rainy day here...again... I'd really like to run the the store and pick up stew meat or a pork picnic shoulder... What to do.... If I go with the pork, I was gonna season the heck out of it with chili powder and cumin.....

I made chicken and bacon yesterday....I swear. Bacon is evil.. Once I started, I didnt stop... You may think I have willpower and control...But I prove over and over agian that I have none.... a package of bacon... gone... thats gross.

OK. .So I'm shooting for 145 in April.. Not a lot to ask, mind you. just a few measly pounds between my scale and me. .I want to refrain from weighing in every day but it's like a huge magnetic. .sitting there staring at me. .daring me . just taunting me. . So, even before I have my coffee. .I find myself floating through the house and gravitating toward "doing the duty." My day just doesn't seem complete without doing "it". . .Shortly, thereafter, my mood is set for the day. .(((sigh)))). . .that's kinda how I feel today. . .moody!!! ha! perhaps I have a compulsive disorder or something. .

Question: Now that everyone has changed their bad eating habits, have you picked up any other "habits". .good or bad?

Trying on clothes in shops--I'm seriously addicted!!! I just pick things up and into the changing room I go!!!!
I also drink way too much tea now-if I want something to eat I go make a cup of tea!!!

IM2, tell hubby to hide the scale and not let you know where it is until such and such a date. Your on plan so it doesnt matter what the scale says!!!! You are doing great and that number shouldnt make or break your day!!!

OMG - thanks ladies for the laughs this morning...much needed

Day 20. The scale is UP .5 pounds this morning. I did NOT like the see-saw when I was younger and I sure don't like it now!!!

I know that 16 punds in 20 days is great but I had set a mini-goal of 20 pounds.

Can't blame it on TOM (no longer a valid excuse ) so I just need to up my water (haven't been drinking enough the last couple of days) and TRY to get out and walk a bit more.

I am drinking my coffee (black) and having a mini pity party until 10 am (15 more minutes)..............

One mega bad thing about the weight-loss is my hands. They are like 80 year olds hands. Bony with all my veins sticking up above the skin It really bugs me, I hate them. They're just horrible and I don't remember them looking like that before I put on weight. Actually I have veins up my arms as well and some on my legs but they really are awful on my hands cos they're so thick and stick up so much.AHas anyone else noticed it??Maybe it's part of eating low-carb??

GT - thanks

I am just having a "down" (everything EXCEPT the scale ) day. Maybe it is just the "Week 3 blues??". My guess is that I wanted to wake up this morning and have that whoosh all the way down to my goal weight.....I when I look back on my posts in a few months I will shake my head at my silly self but now it just feel like everything is moving too SLOWLY for me..........
