Since I want to get this right I have a silly question..........For those of you who have their stats posted, I assume the first number is your starting weight and the last number is your goal weight but what about the middle number? Mini goal? Weight you are now? (For me that changes daily).

Stalling? Obviously, we will lose weight following Stillman's strict QWL diet, however you can switch over to the Repetition Diets. They decrease hunger and the weight falls off. Stillman says an average of 1 to 2 pounds a day.
Here is a link to a post I typed up eons ago Dr. Stillman's Repetition Diets Thank you for the warm welcomes. I will be joining you all when I return from my vacation. Right now I am doing a 7-day fast, because I got sick and wanted to get rid of it naturally before I left town.

Sharon- Yes, the first # is the starting weight, middle # the current weight, and last # goal weight.
I have never posted mine. My self-esteem in regard to my weight is low, and posting it would just make me feel like crawling in a cave and eating fried food. |

Good Morning!!
IM2- I really enjoyed the stall post too! I started going back through the posts when we were just wee little newbies. We were so cute back then, but we have come a long way and its been a pleasure to make it this far with you. So glad you pulled out your hot pink jacket! You rock! (I dont mean hot pink as in florescent, or is it?) Now thats the pic we want of you!!Hoops- Hopefully you dont have anything planned and you can get lots of rest. I guess I didnt have a problem posting my weight in the beginning beause no one knows what I look like. Now I finally made goal but Im still too embarrased to post a pic...will it ever end.. Sometimes we just need to dive in and do it! You are a beautiful woman. (Jealous we have another tall one here..) Best of luck with the fast.Sharon- I agree will Nermo. Change your stats everyday they go down it feels sooo good and helps us keep a better eye on you! You amaze me and inspire me. Youre doing great!Nermo- Keep it up because you have done so so well. Everyday you are that much closer to goal. Awesome job! ![]() I went out to dinner with hubby last night, and ordered the kings cut prime rib. Hubby got his quesadillas and chicken sandwich w/ fries. The waitress tried to switch our orders around. NO WAY LADY- THAT MEAT IS MINE!!! Ate it all. Went home happy. End of story.... Does anyone know whats better? An "end cut" or a "regular cut" of prime rib? She asked what wanted and I just said regular..... |

Al - the "End" end cut is usually more well done but has ALL the spices on it. THe "regular" cut you can get from rare to well but you only get the spices along the edge. Sharon |

Day 18. I am UP 1/2 pound. I have added stats (thanks for all the responses on the correct way to post). I added 1/2 cup of raw spinach to my diet the last 2 days and although I am still in ketosis my weight loss has slowed ...... is this a result of the veggies???? hmmmm
So for the next couple of days it will be meat only and I will see what happens. I did have a caffeine-free diet coke yesterday (I used to drink 5-6/day) - YUCK! Way too sweet for me and "artificial" tasting. I will gladly drink my coffee and water (never thought I would choose water over DC) ![]() I am tired (fatigued) and my body is achey. I am still waiting for that energy high that some of you have ![]() I did have a ribeye last night and ate most of the fat - we'll see if eating a bit more fat will help. Aleriaaa- I completely understand the discomfort of posting a picture on here.
![]() I'm so looking forward to joining you all when I return! I should go shopping before I leave town early Tuesday morning and buy my foods, so I won't have an excuse come Monday, April 5. I get back in town about 9:30pm Sunday, April 4. Yep, definitely going shopping tomorrow for my foods. |

What's Cooking at My House Today
Bacon Mustard Pork Roast (0 Carbs)
Ingredients 1 (2 pound) boneless pork roast 3/4 cup prepared spicy mustard (I use Dijon) 10 slices bacon Directions Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Use a knife to cut shallow slits into the surface of the roast. Using 3/4 cup of mustard, brush half over the roast, then completely cover it with 10 strips of bacon; brush bacon with remaining mustard. Cook in preheated oven for 60 minutes until bacon is browned, or until meat thermometer inserted into thickest part of the pork reaches an internal temperature of 150 degrees F (65 degrees C). |

Never Give Up
Just by taking the first step we are on our way to a healthier life. Sometimes when the scale doesn't move or moves in the wrong direction we feel like we failed.........I struggle to remember that it is only a TEMPORARY number. I am on my way to a better ME.
BUT, every once in a while I need a reminder that others struggle and OVERCOME their battles as well. This video was posted on another board - I wanted to share. Last edited by swebb; 03-28-2010 at 12:32 PM.. |

Nermo - here is something you can make and share - just make sure someone takes any leftovers This recipe came from another list.Chocolate "Truffles" 1 8 oz package cream cheese - 8 carbs 1/4 small box sugar free chocolate pudding mix - 4 carbs 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder - 2 carbs 1 tbsp splenda - 1 carb Soften cream cheese and mix thoroughly with SF pudding and splenda. Wait 3-5 minutes for it to begin to set and start rolling into small balls. Roll to coat truffles in cocoa powder and put them in the fridge to chill. Makes 1 dozen with a little over 1 Carb each. Stick a candle in one and have a great birthday! Sharon |
