only good for quickie responses to our thread... definitely good for reading up though!!! For the amount of posts we contribute, a full size keyboard is a necessity!!!

I pay about $60/month for the data plan..So tack that onto your $450...yikes.....( my phone was around 200-250, can you buy one here???)

But still...I love my phone.. Instant emails, gets me into all the websites that Im blocked at work...BUT, I have to go outside for a signal... (that really stinks) IT works everywhere except my office!!!! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr......

I am with you on this one Actually I find meal time around here much LESS stressful now. In the past I usually had the main dish figured out (meat) but had trouble being creative with the sides - so I usually went for quick and easy, which meant either processed, or potato or rice.

Now it is just meat. Next week I will add a few green things like broccoli and see how it goes.

I've been trying to figure out when Im really hungry....there are times when my stomach growls/gurgles...am I hungry? there are times when I think I want to eat....am I hungry? there are times when I feel tired.....do I need fuel....there are times when all I can think about is ground beef and Im real grouchy till I get it, and eat it cold right out of the fridge....yup! I think thats me being hungry.

So....long story short...I would say, I eat whether Im hungry or not....but if I have to go without eating lunch because the right options arent there...I am fine until dinner. Past dinner though....watch out...

I too love ground beef! I try to fix 2lbs lean GB with 1 pound HOT sausage, drain the grease off and then keep it in the refrigerator for thos times I am craving a quick "snack". Just a few spoonfuls of this and I am satisfied.

Much better than popcorn or chips (I keep telling myself )

Oh, real quick: There is a gal who posted a new question on a new thread about exercise. I gave one of my verbose, but ah-hem! very educational answers based on my experience in the past w/ Stillman. I always get tons of energy.

Anyway, my long post did not go through! Can one of you check out her question and get her hooked up here? Am I ridiculous? See ya!

So today is day 16 of my Stillman's journey.....I am down 16 pounds and am in Ketosis.

Up until tonight I have had only meat to eat. Tonight I added 1/2 cup raw spinach to my evening meal. I am really nervous that this will slow down my weight loss but felt I needed to add some "greens" back into my diet for the vitamins and minerals. We shall see how this affects me over the next couple of days..........

Any input from those more experienced with Stillman's???

Sharon

Vegetables

For those of you who had added veggies back into your diet - what did you add and did they kick you out of ketosis or slow your weight loss down???

Thanks! I did Stillman's QWL several years back (I think in the summer/fall of 2006), and I just loved the weight loss, no fussing with a menu, and how I wasn't hungry. Since, I have put some weight back on that I'd love to shed.

Sharon, I always ate veggies-up until May-(then I finally stalled!). I don't think it slowed me down. I ate a plate of salad-lettuce, tomatoes, peppers, and cucumbers--I think it kept me sane! That's hardly any carbs--it's still def under Atkins 20grams.Plus it kept the dizziness away-I notice that I get it if I don't eat fat or a few carbs. I think the rule is add either fat or veggies!

A big congrats for giving up the artificial sweetners!!!! That is a HUGE accomplishment!! Thsy only keep us craving more....

I do things a little differently, then most... I find that if I eat little meals, or pick, or graze, throughout the day, I want to eat more and more and have to think about food more. I dont want to think about food. Dr. Oz and the rest say it works though...Im always the oddball.
