Well, I definitely upped my fat today
and as a result, nearly doubled my calories for the day!! 1,850 calories, 130g fat, 5 carbs, 154g protein. It was the 8oz burger that did me in, wow, 625 calories just in one burger... Makes me really think about my old habits of polishing down a burger (with bun), a load of fries and a couple of beers! My entire daily allowance in one meal. Gross. For dinner I had some chicken wings, with skin. Anyway, really needed that fat boost after a week on Stillman's QWL. I can definitely feel the difference but I really want to get back to losing so quickly! 6 full days on Stillman's and 7lbs gone! Hope you guys don't mind me sticking around here, even if I'm not doing Stillman's by the book, at all times. ![]()

Right now I have done the 2 week meat only thing. I try to have a somewhat "fatty" meat like hamburger 2x a week. Seems to help keep all systems going and lessen the fatigue I sometimes feel. I will probably continue this for another 2 weeks and then start adding some veggies. Sharon |

Gwn: Absolutely! We don't know what we would do without you! Please, please stay forever! ....or as long as you need to and you like us. ![]() Wow, I'm glad you brought that up. That's what it came to for me. I was chowing down on anything I wanted and not thinking about it. DH and I got to where we were having pizza twice a week! No more of that. Just finished pigging out on turkey. I ate the whole drumstick and a bunch of the breast. I feel perfectly satisfied. Gotta drink some more water, though.

This is what I am cooking for tomorrow: Kalua Pig in a Slow Cooker
Ingredients 1 (6 pound) pork butt roast 1 1/2 tablespoons Hawaiian sea salt (Red or Black - I found it at Trader Joe's) 1 tablespoon liquid smoke flavoring Directions Pierce pork all over with a carving fork. Rub salt then liquid smoke over meat. Place roast in a slow cooker. Cover, and cook on Low for 16 to 20 hours, turning once during cooking time. Remove meat from slow cooker, and shred, adding drippings as needed to moisten. Tastes just like the luau pig served in Hawaii. I like the Black salt better. The Hawaiian sea salt does NOT have the satly taste of regular table salt. ZERO CARBS!! Last edited by swebb; 03-25-2010 at 07:38 PM.. |

Well, Peepers, I'm going to shut it down for the day. I had another day full on unbelievable energy. If you would have seen me a few weeks ago you wouldn't believe the difference. I felt tired all the time and couldn't wait to go to bed in the evenings. Now, you can't stop me! ha! Just try!
![]() I still need to get some work done and spend some quality time with DH. Probably gonna skype w/ kids and grandies as well. That''s always sooooooooooooooo much fun. Makes me happy. You all have a wonderful rest of the day or night or whatever time zone you are in. I'm looking forward to being here tomorrow. |

Yea I like the idea of mixing it up to keep things interesting and to keep me from getting bored. I like the strictness of Stillman's because it really is proof to myself that I can be strict with what I choose to eat and that I have the discipline it takes. I like that it really controls my appetite and I love that the loss on the scale is quick! I like that I can then slip into Atkins and still lose weight too, while eating different things. I just love low carbing in general! ha. Isn't it great to be able to actually EAT and still lose weight!? All those years spent on dieting aka starvation just to lose some pounds. Cabbage soup diet, master cleanse, low fat, ha, all that or a juicy ribeye and fauxtatoes for dinner, I pick the latter. This WOE really is wonderful. I will continue to post my menus just so you guys know (and so I can track it myself) and see how the loss progresses, based on what I'm eating.
B: 2 eggs, 2 beef hot dogs, coffee L: 8oz burger w/ 1 slice provolone, 1 lettuce leaf, 1 slice bacon D: 7 hot wings S: SF Jello cup |

Hello Everyone!!!!
Wow 50 pages in March!! We really chatted this month. Ok my b'day is Sunday and I am no where close to my mini goal of 199! I just haven't been losing like I was! Any suggestions would really be helpful. I am still at 227. I thought for sure I would be at least 210 or something. I am eating my eggs and chicken breasts everyday- here is what my menu looks like everyday! breakfast- 2or 3 scrambled eggs with 1 big chicken breast(cubed) then i eat again at 4 pm same thing as breakfast. and i gobble down water all day! I really don't have much of an appetite! but I am not losing fast enough! I need your input guys! ![]() |

I still cant wait to go to bed every night....and I still hate getting up in the morning..... come to think of it, the only time I have had unbelieveable energy is when I quit coffee for those few days.... I like energy, but for some reason, I like coffee more... oh well.

Hi Nermo!! The loss definitely slowed for me after the first 2-3 months... You have still done a remarkable job. 40 pounds gone, quicker than any other diet out there! My weight totally jumped around but always ended with a loss. Even 2 pounds a week is fantastic! (where else can you lose 2 pounds and not exercise?!) Every pound is a little closer to goal and you will get there! We are gonna make sure of it!! Just keep doing what your doing, and you may even want to try to add another meal. Sounds crazy, but sometimes it works!

Good Morning!
Old Man Winter is still fighting! I woke up this morning to snow on the ground. It is hard to believe that Easter is next Sunday! I just started my taxes and taking care of my responsibilities at work while my co worker is on his vacation. It is a little stressful, but I will pull through!! I haven't read the pages since I was gone... over whelming! Support is fantastic here though! -Dustin |

Hi peeps! I'm reading this and typing on a tiny (pink!) laptop--one of those tiny ASUS ones---it's really annoying compared to a normal one!! Anyway! Nothing to report! Was out for dinner last night-had a chicken salad without dressing! And himself had a huge pizza-god it looked good--I pulled a piece of ham off it! I shall be having a salad a day! Other than that I've been having lots of tuna! But I will be staying on the thread---ye can't get rid of me that quick!!
![]() I'm just watching The Biggest Loser-Australia! They have lost soo much weight-it's unbelievable! But interesting-when they were stalling--the trainer said they should really up their cals, because they were training so hard too. That keeps coming up!!! Maybe there's something in it!!!
