But the good news for you is: YOU HAVE A NICE JUICY STEAK TO LOOK FORWARD TO TOMORROW!!!

I usually dont eat meat on Fridays, during lent, until now. Feeling really guilty about it this time around but I feel I have given up other things that are much harder to stay away from than meat. I know Im so bad.

Have you ever considered giving up the veggies and shakes to see how your body would react? I know you have to be real careful with your upcoming surgery, but perhaps after you heal, you could try. Meat only seriously works. Seriously. (and I have to add, a little fat) Seriously.

Well hello people!!!
I thought I'd never get back in!! It kicked me out and then when I tried to enter my password it kept saying no-even when I entered the new password that LCF had given me, and then it kept kicking me out for 15mins at a time! I think I have spent nearly an hour trying to get in!!
Anyway I'm back!!

Tania- Im curious about your surgery.... This is your last one right? Was the previous one painful? Of course it was but how painful?

I think you have done a great job. Strike that. A remarkable job! An amazing job! You must feel so awesome and proud of yourself. and another great thing is you'll only get better! You are working it girl, and it will pay off. You WILL reach goal sooner than later!!!! I truly believe this!

Oh don't worry Al, unfortunately I still have lots of meat on them bones!!
Actually the strange thing is that today I got a magazine (english one-a friend posted it to me-german mags just don't cut it!) Cosmo--and they had a spread of 5 women who all weighed 133lbs-different shapes and heights and dress sizes. And I am definitely "fatter" than everyone of them. I couldn't believe that they weighed the same as me!! So I def have more to lose! I do look healthy, the only thing would be my face--cheek bones are great and all but I thnk mine is too thin. I preferred it rounder! (oh yeah and my chest too! Hee!)

Tania,
So sorry about your Nala... I lost one a few months ago...she was 15! She passed at home in my arms, but it didn't make it any easier.

Kathy- I kept hoping she would go while I was at work so I didn't have to decide for her. I feel guilty because I think I should try to keep her going for a few more months maybe and of course the vet is no help just spend money on tests. I don't want to put her through that she hates it.

Ok, about my first surgery. I was cut all the way around and about 15 pounds of skin was removed. It hurt but by day 4 I was off all pain meds. It took about 6 hours and I was off work for 2 1/2 weeks. This surgery they will remove more skin on my tummy and even give me an incision up the middle to remove skin around. I will also have a breast lift with implants. When you lose a lot of weight your breast become deformed so the implants are for shape mainly. I have a few pictures on a different site if you don't mind nudity and some gross stuff PM and I will gladly share.

Dustin I am sure you really did not want to hear all of that.

I might try the just meat but I really don't eat much else as it is so it would be easy to do.

Tania

Hi Everyone,

It rained.... raining... raining.... now a flooded garage.

Hey al, your old avatar made me feel blue too!

Bdladie, it is fine... it doesn't bother me about what you wrote and you don't need to apologize. It is good education and you made excellent progress and it is for your better health and self-esteem. I am also sorry about your pet.

Hi Tania, your story is really inspirational. That body lift is no walk in the park or the tumy tuck with the vertical insision. It'll be worth it in the end though. I have really googled and googled body lifts and co. because starting out I was really worried about having loose skin so I've seen the pictures! I've been extremely lucky though I think-Ok I haven't lost as much as you but there are people who lose a lot less that have it. Think I have my Mum to thank for that-nearly 60 and no wrinkles! (Praying I really do take after her!) I did have some on the top of my stomach but it really is nearly gone. And I'm working on the top of my arms! I intend to get breast implants as my treat to myself when I get to goal-cos there's nothing there-probably will need the uplift too! I've honestly never had perky boobs tho(exercising lots as a teenager with no sports bra) so I've always wanted them done!

If I may offer my thoughts....I have made some tough decisions in the past regarding pets. I have lost some at home, and I have also made decisions to end suffering. You should not feel guilty about taking Nalas pain away. The vets will do everything they can to keep her going, and keep on charging, regardless of what the outcome is, but will she be better off? If this was a young dog, then I would absolutely agree to tests/surgeries. I would want the same for myself. If I have no quality of life, I would want to peacefully and painlessly go to sleep. I hope when my time comes, this is an option.

Whatever decison you make, its gonna be tough, but know that you did everything you could for the love of your pet. You are a good soul.

Tania and GT- Thanks for the info on the surgeries. I'm starting to wonder if this would be something for me. (especially the boob job) I did lose my weight fast, and all my muscle. (Im not actually sure if there was ever muscle there in the first place, because it was covered in fat) Anyway, Im not sure how long to wait for the skin to retract. If it was gonna be a year, with exercise, then I could handle it, but what if it doesnt. I lost all the weight but Im still not happy with myself. I looked better in a bikini at 160, then I do at 117... think grandma from "Something about Mary"! I know you guys like visuals...hahahaha

OK...still thinking about boobs here... would it be wrong to say I would want to touch somebody's fake ones to see what they feel like? I know I would like how they look, because I have one of those miracle bras in 2 sizes up! The super bra is great! I like! Thinking about getting a miracle bra bathing suit for my trip, but I really need to try one on. Wonder if theres a miracle bikini bottom to plump up my butt.

I'd probably float away out to sea! So scratch that idea...
