IM2- I'm so sorry the stupid scale is up. You have been sticking to plan, so why not stay off it until your next doctor appointment. Just a thought. Your body is going through lots of changes right now trying to level off on the positive side. Please dont let the scale dictate how you feel for the day. Do your cute clothes still fit? Do you have energy? Are you happy? Focus on getting healthy, and forget about the number. I think its time to pull out the pink jacket again and remember how goes it feels to look hot!!! and double SCORE on the chicken!! You arre such the bargain shopper- is there anything you dont miss??
Paleo- sounds like you have everything under control as usual. Great job keeping up with the exercise and tweaking the plan to make it all work for you. You are gonna hit those may goals for sure!!! Kathy- Dont worry about the slip. Youre back on track with a plan of attack!! WTG!!! Hope you enjoyed those cookies because they are the last ones you are allowed until the wedding!! Savor that memory chica!! Lisa- You better go get some!! thats exercise baby!! (im surprised you even have enough energy to think about it, with that workload of yours!! Dustin- what are you eating? I made 8 chicken breasts yesterday afternoon, and they are all gone. Chicken just doesnt satisfy me anymore...I dont feel any different, but Im staying away from the scale for a few days....
I begged hubby last night to get my Crystal Light out of hiding...(did I tell you I made him store them in the house somewhere? I couldnt throw them out and waste money) Guess what? he wouldnt get them for me!!! He told me to have wine because at least it has natural sugars... i passed though..good for me! |

I was playing around with the BMI calculator. I entered my weight at 200 pounds and my height. It reported BMI is 30.4. If I go down to 197, then the BMI changes to 30.0. Then 196 will put it to 29.8. That means if I reach 196 pounds, then I will be considered overweight, not obese. How's that for a new motivation?!?!
I don't know what my weight is right now. I posted a new challenge for me to get my weight below 199.9 before my birthday, which is April 16. If I reach 199.9 then I will investigate and get an eye exam for contact lenses. If I don't, then I will look into a new outfit. Either way, I win!! ![]() ![]() It probably really is your body adjusting to the medication. Hang in there-it's gotta move in the right direction sometime. You've come so far without giving up-I think you're amazing.![]() As for the starving all day and eating at night--oh yeah I have sooo been there To avoid it I keep everything that's not on plan out of the apartment-seriously in the fridge at the moment there's turkey breasts, milk, eggs, mayo and mustard---that's it!! And in the cupboard there's tins of tuna!!! It looks a bit sad really!!! ![]() Dustin, I looooooove playing around with that BMI calculator!! And if you use different ones you come out slightly less or more-I like Fitdays the best! Hee! Mine is 21--and that is down from 40 ![]() ![]() ![]() Lisa, you work too hard, honey!

my BMI from 32 to 26.3.. I'll take it for now... . I'd have to weigh 107 to be at the bottom of the normal range.. Wow.. isn't that an eye opener. . I have never, ever weighed 107".. ..I went from 90 lbs to 130lbs in 0.3 seconds!!! I think I went to bed as a 3rd grader and woke up as a teenager! heheh

1st Day Check-In
Today was my first day and it was a slow start. I should have prepared some meat last night for this morning. Just the thought of cooking at 6 am made me want to gag. (I am a carb-a-holic in the mornings!!!). So no breakfast for me. I finally ate 1/2 Boston Market chicken (sadly saying goodbye to the wonderful skin) around 3. Now I will fix a steak for dinner around 8. Water intake was bad today - I am not a big water drinker. I will try and get in 50 oz. before bedtime. The weather here in Georgia was rainy and a bit chilly, so aside from walking the dogs (7 of them) I did not get in any extra walking today. I figure small steps forward towards my goal is better than a giant leap and then falling backwards. Tomorrow will be better.
