Ahh. .beef! I had to cook some up tonight myself. . some habits are hard to break! Hubby is grilling up pork and chicken for tomorrow right now so I should be all set for my meat fest! I think I shall have drinks one more time and then that's it! No more. No more. . I really need to unwind. been a doosey of a week!
O and just for the record. . NOw I want Whipped Cream. .in more ways than one!! heheheh. .I can't think of a better way to get my work out in!! ![]() |

I had tuna, cottage cheese, lean steak. I have some cod defrosting
If I can just get a momentum going, I know I can do this right. What kind of chicken do you suggest, like recipes. Breasts, correct? Hi ya'll. PS: Thanks for the compliment on my pix. |

HI Stevie! I like my chicken (breast) on the grill the best, but due to the weather, I have not been able to enjoy them as much! I use Tonys Creole Seasoning or Montreal Chicken seasoning. If I make them plain with salt and pepper, I'll sometimes add Franks Hot Sauce or even mustard. I always cut it up into little chunks so more flavor get on every bite. I like to sear it all over. A lot of us still use PAM spray to cook up.
There are some other yummy sounding recipes in the recipe thread. A cola chicken, a terryaki one...we've often used onion soup mix too. IM2 can help with these if you're interested! Cod sounds good. I wish I was daring enough to try real fish instead of canned tuna. |

Somebody put the battery in the scale...or it just came back to life.... Dont ask we why I even hopped on this morning...up two again to 123. Im not surprised. My friendly visitor has arrived and I by no means have been cutting back the fat. I think my body likes this weight because it always bounces right back.
Agenda for the day....tuna, tuna, tuna.....water, water, water... |

![]() I am having a tuna day today also. I haven't went grocery shopping yet. I weighed today and 238, maybe that's why I had that nasty bitter taste in my mouth for a couple of days, I am not gonna change my stats yet, just in case the scale goes up and it was wrong or something, I just can't believe that I went down so much, plus I have TOM still here. Time will tell. |

I did OK yesterday. . I didn't eat anything i wasn't supposed to but I could have upped my water. . I'm working on that today. .I caved and weighed in this morning. Was actually up
but I guess I have to take it for what it is. . This weekend I'm doing only good things and having only good thoughts. I have to work all weekend so I hope my stress level doesn't increase. . . I want to go to the center but don't know if I'll have time. Next week I plan to hit it hard.. Spring is right around the corner

Hey. .does anyone else eat omlets once in a while? I made some for the kids last night and decided to have a few bites.. They were basically eggs, a little cheese (my kids don't like a lot) and some ground sausage) MMMMmmm felt just like I was cheating .. but no carbs!

Hey-Next time you guys have free time, search out Gary Taubes on youtube. His book is called good calories, bad calories. Hes not a doctor, hes a scientific journalist. Its much easier watching and listening to him than getting through the science of the book.
You wont feel so bad about not getting to the gym and eating fat. If you're a fan of Dr. Oz, you may not buy what Taubes is saying, but one small portion of the proof that he compiled syas we dont have to exercise to lose weight. Im not saying dont exercise, cause moving around IS GOOD FOR US, but Im leaning toward Gary Taubes on this one. Im proof of it! Taubes has so much info in his book. I cant even explain it! Truly remarkable read...or watch. I do believe we need strength training if we want really big muscles, but aerobic or cardio stuff..just makes us more hungry, right? |

Day one down, on to day two.
Alerria, thak you for the reply. I have everything you suggested. I am going to defrost the trukey and also make a broth. Way to go to all the success! Since I don't have more then 8-10 pounds to go, should I have a target calorie amount? I have a ****** account I could dust off. Today I am eating the cod. Its flash frozen from one of my husbands fishing buddies. And the tuna we eat, is home made canning. Its really delish. Exercise: 1.5 miles power walking Water: 60 ounces |

Way to go Stevie!! Stillman always had calories way on the low side. He claimed that most of his patients ate from 400 - 1000 calories, more if they were tall. I dont count calories at all. Just eat meat when Im hungry.
He recommends Stay Slim eating once you reach your desired weight. I copied this from the Stillman by the Book thread. You can get more info there. "For example, if you’re a woman 5’4” tall, your total is 1,440-1,800 calories daily to maintain desired weight of under 120 pounds." |
