it sure does GT- I can tell you even though I am still big but I am walking with such confidence and I can't even begin to talk about the people at work stopping me to ask me what diet am I on !

Coming out of lurk mode...I am on day 3 of modified Stillmans and dropped a few pounds. I seem to bounce for a year now same 5 pounds and I am so tired of it.lol

I say modified because I did have a bite of veggies like raw califlower and some cooked brocolli with lemon.


Any thoughts on what success I can have if I only have 10 pounds or less to go? I am going on vacation April 6th and I do "ok" but not super strict.

Anyone here who has just a bit to go?

Hi guys! Boy I have missed you all!

My work schedule has been so crazy! I've been working 12 hour days again, but with the weather conditions as bad as they are, my travel time has almost doubled!! So it turns my days into 14 to 15 hrs!

I stopped the green tea for now and started back on atkins for this week. The brain fog is gone and so is the stuttering and other symptoms I was getting. I am going to continue atkins for this week then go back to stillmans. Thanks for all the kind words and support everyone.

My weight has stayed the same, but i have been bloated from the increase of fats and sodium!

Oh well I feel so much better and can't wait til saturday, thats when I will go back to stillmans!

Gotta go, love and miss everyone! Sorry I just can't keep up with the forum right now, but want to say hello to the new members and hiya to Dustin, it's good to see you back! Pale the green tea is not your fault hun. It just happened to come at a bad time and i may have over did it is all! TTYL

Ok well I am off to bed now-

I wish I can be better with my water but I am not I get 2 water bottles a day of the 16 oz. bottles not good-:blush: just imagine how much faster I would lose if I upped my water- but I am a teacher and really don't have much time to use the bathroom while at work and it's really hard to leave my classroom ! Anyway I will try to do better !

GT- congrats on the loss! I usually put my ground beef in a big container and eat spoonfuls out of it when the mood strikes. The other day, i opened it up, and I had gotten close to bottom where all the fat had pooled and solidified. I broke up the cold fat/beef layer and picked it up with my fingers to eat. i was thinking, yummmm white chocolate fudge witht the first couple tastes, and then because of my crunchies...peanut brittle. A girl can daydream. But it was still good.

IM2- Thats awesome that you are still finding new things to wear! like GT says all the time, your probably losing inches even though the scale doesnt move much. Thats great news!

Hi Stevie! So glad you are joining us! I only have a few pounds to go but I've upped my fat and it comes off slow. I can still drop a pound after a clean day, just cant get my engine going to last 2. Stick around, no doubt you'll be where you want to be for vacation!!!!

still coffee free... that was way too easy....Im shocked..really shocked..

thawing out some more ground beef and I have two thick pork chops to cook up. I have been drinking a lot of water, but only when I feel thirsty. a few bottles a day. One observation since quitting coffee...I sprung out of bed this morning at 5:30 on my day off. I am one to really drag and drag and hit snooze 14 times before I roll out of bed. i'll have to see what happens tomorrow morning...

This will definately work for you! There are several variations.. check out the stickies. .you can do the 14 day quick loss if you want to eat veggies! Just cut out fat. . increase water and enjoy your meat!

The countdown begins. . . 15 hours to go until.. Did I ever tell you I'm terrified of the doctor? Yes. . yes.. yes.. I am . .I absolutely hate going. . almost worse than the dentist. . Errrrrrrrrrrrrr. . OK. I'm going to go home and check the meatloaf I told my kids to put in the oven for dinner and see what my stock pile of legal meat is. Then, I plan to go to the center and work out.. We shall see. .I've planned it every night this week. (I guess it only is Tuesday!!) but haven't made it yet. . Gotta run. .Later, Gater. . Mmm. .I wonder if we can eat gater? just a thought guys. . just a thought. .

I think I will rotate because there may be days veggies are part of the meal option.

Do you guys eat cottage cheese and pork and still lose?

I like tuna and cottage cheese mixed together. Sounds odd but it is very good.

As for me, I'm on day 4 of P90X and going strong. I'm a bit sore, but so far so good. I'm actually enjoying it a lot more than I thought I would, although it's making me HUUUUNGRY!

Our computer was in the shop for the last week...boy did I miss a lot around here! Glad to see everyone is doing well

I hate weekends...didn't stay on plan (not even close). Other than that things have been going well for me.

Planning to cut out the cottage cheese and ketchup for a week...or as long as I can stand it I am stuck and have been playing around with the same 6 lbs for a couple months now. Gain 2, lose 4, gain 1, lose 1, gain 4...I hate that!!

Got a new personal trainer last week. He is awesome! I am learning a lot and can already really feel a difference.

Paleo, I tried to look up p90x on YouTube etc just to see what it was like-but I couldn't find any original, just poeple copying it! We don't have it here and I'd never heard of it! From reading about it on the forum tho I don't think I'd have the energy for it!!

%.30---WOW!!! I put the clock at the other end of the room so I have to actually get up to turn it off!! I as sooo tired in the mornings--and I can't fall asleep for ages and ages at night-I keep wondering is it Ketosis and lack of carbs--hope it is and my body is working extra hard to burn up those fat stores!!!
