Yes, Yes and Yes! There are some essential vitamins that we miss by not eating fruits and veggies. .Vitamin D is really important . Flax, Fish Oil, Calcium (you don't want to be a hunch-back, do you?). .and several others. Vitamin B will give you more energy. . .

Take a Multi. . seriously. . you will be better equipped to fight off all those illnesses. . I force feed my family a multi every single day and we've all been pretty healthy this year. .

I'll keep lecturing until you and Al get on the vitamin train! The long term effects are well worth it. .

Good Morning, everyone.

Well. .we got a lot of snow last night (thanks Dustin!).. I guess it could be worse. Its stopped snowing but its drifting and blowing everywhere. My road never gets plowed until 2 days after a storm. I live right on the edge of two towns I also live back in the woods so my driveway is super long. .Its almost 1/4 mile so that's a lot of shoveling. Most often, I just plow through with my car and hope that the sun comes out. Looks like the boys will be busy today! I woke up with a killer migraine and called my boss at 6:00 to let him know I would be late. Took meds and went back to bed. When I got up this morning, he had texted me and told me to stay home! I think I'll take him up on that offer. . I really could use the time to clean my house !!! So I'm hoping to burn a few calories as I had to skip the gym due to the weather last night. If not, I'll work on some wall push=ups and crunches. .

Here are my new measurements. Still wish the hips would go down more and the waist too, but I know they are starting to shrink.

2010-Feb-10 Neck 12.25 Wrist 4.5 Waist 33.25 Chest 39.5 Hips 43.5
Arm 12 Thigh 21 Calf12.25

2010-Feb-4 Neck 12.5 Wrist 4.75 Waist 35.5 Chest 40 Hips 44
Arm 12 Thigh 21 Calf12.5

Total inches in 6 days 1 1/2 (may not seem like a lot but it came off my hips, waist and chest, my prob areas so to me it's a TON!)

Total inches since Jan 8th 26 3/4

Chris is amazed at how little I eat now and how quickly I am full! I am too! I have had no cravings this week at all and it has been so great!

I know I couldn't have done it without everyone's support! Love you guys!
YAY Lisa!

Well, I doubt I will see the 140's THIS week, but I am holding at 152 despite my super bowl feast and that (wonderful) roasted squash yesterday. Can
t complain about that...

We got a ton of snow, but it is Michigan...Kills me that so many people don't make it into work..."I can't get out of my driveway" is the most frequent excuse. My 63 year old hubby was out clearing our (very long) drive at 6:00 a.m....

the sun is out now and it looks so pretty...

I hear you Kath - I am from the deep, deep south and we now live in the midwest - I am more adventurous in this overload of snow than people who have lived here forever! I think it is quite comical!

AL - I am doing chicken legs today too - and we bought a ton of thighs - by accident Cause they were on sale. Accidental cause I meant to pick up the breasts instead!

Let's see 32 would last me - 8 or 9 meals I am such a piglet sometimes!!

5 lbs of ground beef might last two or three days - if I am lucky!

Paleopaleo - I think my motivation is quite vain as well!

1. I want a certain number on the scale - I know - crazy

2. I also like being able to wear clothes that used to be too tight!

3. I like feeling satisfied and not too stuffed to not even sleep

4. This is weird I know but - I especially like my clothes almost falling off of me - I hate for things to look way too tight.

I ended up needing a repair guy to come get my car!! I had tires put on yesterday, and an oil change. Now today I lost power while heading up hills and the check engine light came on and started flashing! I'm so frustrated! I just spent 311.00 yesterday and paid CASH! I decided not to put it on credit, but now with this I just don't know. My car is old,(1997) maybe I should just get a newer one, but if I do I'm afraid I will just inherit somebodies problems...

I'm gonna eat some steak! Not because I'm upset, but because it's lunch time and I am stuck at my house instead of out working! I need to be making money for this darn bill! GRRRR

My reasons keep changing! I supposes firstly ws to be healthy and be a normal weight!
Now I just want to be thin and were smaller clothes!
Basically the smallest size we have in shops is a U.K.6 (U.S-2) and I want to be able to buy that size in everything! I have one top in that but that was because I wanted it and it was that or a 12--and it's a very wide style!!!! At the mo. I wear mostly an U.K.8 on top and a U.K.10 on the bottom in jeans-skirts I can wear an 8-sometimes! But there is actually a huge difference between the 8s and 6s--so I don't know if I'll ever fit in there!!
Does anyone else find themselves looking at people and wondering if you'll ever be as thin as them?? Or is that just me!! That prob sounds so weird!! Ok I'll stop now!!

Not Weird - I do it all the time. .I also compare body parts. ..like: my stomach will never look like that. or my arms are way fatter than hers. .Or I wish I had that butt!!

You are completely normal unless we are both the only weirdos and just don't know it!
