I went to visit a friend yesterday and she had this awesome exercise bike. I forget what she called it, but instead of sitting straight up, the seat was reclined back so the pedals were almost even. It was so comfortable. think paddle boat. I wish I had the room for it, because it was awesome, like lounging and exercising at the same time. sweet.

Oh yeah !! have seen them---I want one!!!! They look unbelievably comfortable!! You could just sit and pedal all day!!But I think they take up a lot af space. Mine is a plain one--and not comfy!! I think they're called something like encumberant---but seriously can't spell it!! ....and far too lazy to google!!

Hello Everyone,

Had my eggs this morning and now making my chicken breasts! I love this diet now, it's hard at first but then it comes naturally- what I love is no counting anything! And I hate cooking different fancy stuff everyday so this is awesome.

IM2- Today is Monday I hope it's great news! Whatever it is we are here for ya!

LOL checked my nose I think it is losing weight!!! hehehe

Lisa- By the way Girl you have it going on! and losing weight on top of it You will be one hot girl this summer- Chris will probably have to keep you locked up ! LOL

Great that you're into it--there's no stopping you now!!! Yeah that's what I like about it too--no thinking,, no big choices!! I think only having a few food choices really helps!!! It's the best!

Nermo: I think the ears lose weight, too. .I'm going to check mine. .anything that gets smaller is a plus. .well. except maybe the chestal area. .

Just what I wanted to hear this morning.. got a call back from the Dr's office and they want to schedule a follow-up appointment with me. .not until the 24th~! I did not expect that so now I'm sitting here thinking bad thoughts.. What on earth could it be that they want me back? Mmm. . but if it was a big thing.. the 24th is quite a ways away..

IM- Don't fret! Stop thinking bad thoughts. Your lab results may have shown a deficiency somewhere and they want to retest to make sure or to discuss the possibilities of supplements etc. You were alive and kicking before the appointment and you will be after too! Your in my thoughts hun!

GT- I am feeling the same way with stillmans, at first i was like ewwwwww (i was a vegetarian for 3 yrs so..) But now I love it, so darn easy and i am having fun cooking up all the meat. I find I cook for the whole week in one day and it makes life so easy! I'm really digging it now!

Thanks AL- I have tried one of those bikes and they do rock! We have on at the Hospitals gym and at my other gym. I think I might do that today instead of the treadmill.. not sure though! OH TOO FUNNY!! Chris is using my pilates ball now!! He really likes it!

I'm probably allergic to meat!! that would be my luck. .either that or I need to cut beef out or something. . I might call later in the week if my anxiety level gets too high. I usually don't worry but I've always been fairly healthy. .fat but healthy. .

Hi Im2! Sorry you are still waiting on the results I think Lisa is right, you are probably just lacking in something and thay want to tell you. And you're totally right, if it was something bad they would have wanted you back quickly not on the 24th. They'll probably tell you you're not eating enough fruit and veg. or calcium or something! You'll be fine, I'm sure!!

I haven't posted in awhile, I have been under the weather, emotionally more than anything. I am heading to the doctor in a couple days to see if I have rheumatoid arthritis and to check my knee that has been giving me grief. I hate that I can't workout it really is a great stress reliever. I did walk 2 miles this morning at work and will probably just forego the pain and workout tonight regardless of the knee. Needless to say, I have done nothing but console myself with naughty food. Today I am over it and headed back in the right direction. I turn the big 4-0 this year and really would like to be at my goal before the big day and with a trip to Florida over spring break I am trying to get motivated. I even hung my bikini, like I would really wear it , in my closet to stare me in the face when I feel like I want to skip exercising or eat badly. I think another one at my desk is also in order.

Sorry you have been feeling poorly! I love the idea about hanging the bikini in the closet to stare at ya! I sure hope you are able to keep exercising! WOW that has got to be miserable. I'm sure you will make your goal weight before your trip to Florida. Just keep your chin up hun!

IM- If I remember right when I was on low carb in the past and eating a lot of protein and cheese my gout count was high. Maybe the doctors are worried about this. They told me to consume less meat and cheeses. I didn't listen and I have no signs or symptoms of gout that i know of. You might be showing an increase of white blood cells and that's why they may want to follow up.

That would be my luck! I haven't had much cheese. .I really try to limit it to once a week or so.. but I have been eating more ground beef than I normally do.. Who knows at this point. I did tell the PA that I was on a low carb diet but I don't really think she was listening anyway. . I guess I'm not going to worry about it to much right now. I don't feel bad.. just cranky! Perhaps I'm full of crabbiness!. .Yeah. .that's it. . Crabogirlolackocarbinitis!

well gout has to do with an increase of uric acid. the body produces uric acid when meat and other high proteins are being eaten at a higher rate than the body can use. If you are consuming more of the uric acid producing foods you will have higher amounts of it in your blood.

Hi All!

Busy weekend so I was not able to check in...

Kept it low-carb over the weekend. Had lots of veggies and some sugar free hot chocolate. Not too bad!

Today I am back on Stillmans. Volunteered in my son's Kindergarten class so I didn't get to drink as much water as I would have liked...trying to catch up now

Hitting the gym tonight for 1 hour of Kick boxing!
