Stillman's Cottage Cheese Question

Can you eat as much low fat cottage cheese as you want on the plan?

To answer your question - I think you have to limit the lowfat cottage cheese to somewhere between 1 cup and 1 1/2 cups.

But, I haven't read my book lately.

Hi. This is my first post. This diet appeals to me or than Atkins. I need some dairy once in a while. Is any low fat cheese allowed. Like lite swiss (50 calories a slice, 0 carbs) I noticed the list said "certain cheeses" but was not specific. Thanks, Lynn

Hi Lynne: There are several variations of the Stillmans' program. The QWL does allow for cottage cheese or farmers cheese(?). I know a few of the posters have had luck with limiting to a few ounces a day and are still able to lose on a regular basis. Because this diet is from so long ago, I think limited amounts are OK as long as you are still losing. Check out the stickies at the top of the posts and it should give you some more ideas. Sorry I couldn't be more help. Feel free to post the question on Feb's board.
