Yeah the cute pink bras are the only good thing about being flat all right!!! Even got a Hello Kitty one in H+M!!! My sleeveless days are a long way off!!!!

GT: Why didn't anyone warn us when we were youngsters about flabby arms? I can't stand mine! they are almost bigger than my legs. . go figure!

did you guys see that a stall can be months? That was sorta depressing for me. . re-assuring . .but depressing! One of the cures was Stillmans. .I wonder what they would suggest if they knew I was already doing that?? I'm going to stay positive becuase the alternative doesn't get me anywhere. .Blood tests on Monday. .

Yeah-and I'm not even 30 yet-so I should still have good arms!!!! I really put loads of weight on my arms! I found a shirt lurking that I had worn and it was really tight on my arms--top and bottom arms---and now there is inches and inches of room--they were huge!(I have since thrown it out-don't wanna be reminded-ever!) I do now have good definition in the front-but not in the back! And I just want skinny stick-thin arms with no definition! (Actually I just want stick-thin everything!)

God I did!!!!!!! Months!!!! Go away!!!! I cry(well not literally!) if I don't lose for a week! It said 3-6 months. I think you're great Im2--I know I would have downed a box of chocs(more than 1) if I had your stall. But you're right--if you do everything the weight-loss will have to start up again.

I wondered that too about if you were already Stills was there anything better????

Hi Lisa! Ok I was nosey too after reading Im2! You are really amazing. To lose 200lbs and to keep it off for 10 years--you really are an inspiration. And I gotta say when I read you had WLS 10 years ago, I couldn'd believe it--you look about 23 in your avator picture!

Thanks GT! I've dieted for so long that I just realize that I have to stick to something. I'm actually 42 (dont' tell anyone) .. since 35 I've noticed it is much more difficult to lose, I have less energy and I can't quite do everything I used to do. I haven't accepted it yet. . but I know it to be true! I just try to pretend I'm still 30 but no one will believe me! It really sucks when all your parts don't bounce back, your skin starts to look a little different and hair sprouts on places you don't think hair belongs! I know. TMI. but there are days I just wonder about it all. The good things are that people actually think I know what I'm talking about. (because I'm older), I can order a beer without being carded, I get to boss my kids around, and people actually ask me for advice.. plus the best part is hubby will always be older!!!

Believe me. . I have felt like throwing in the towel but that's just not an alternative right now! I just love that you guys have stuck by me. .I plan to see this through to the 130's!!! It is my time to shine. . .I can feel it!

Yeah that was what kicked me into action cos everyone says it's harder to lose after 30 and your skin doesn't spring back into shape--so I thought better try and get a head start so!!! I remember when I was 19 or 20 (oh the good times!!!) I could lose 5lbs literally in a weekend!!! And I might ad I didn't need too--but now that I still do that doesn't happen---oh the unfairness!!
I'm hoping my weight-loss hasn't made me look older-cos I now have a really thin face(somebody actually asked me had it shrunk!!) I ask friends but they just say no(think they'd be far too afraid to say otherwise!!!) Seriously I'm a marketers dream--if it's got anti-aging on the pot, I've bought it!!! I even pulled a sickie once to queue for a new cream!!! Sad I know!!!

Hi,
I would like to join this group!! I have alot of weight to lose. I have read the posts on here and everyone seems to be so supportive. I would like to take it one day at a time. I want to start tonight. Feb. 1st will begin on Monday. If I start tonight, then I will have a day and a half before I go back to work. I am drinking my water which is following your suggestions. I haven't read all the posts today, but I will!! I hope to get to know each one of you.
This is a very motivating post. I am starting about the same place that Nermo started on the 6th of January. I would like to be at the same place she is now in a few weeks. 20 pounds is awesome.

Never put off what you can do today. . I did read a suggestion about starting at night so you can fast for the hours while you sleep! How low can you go? meat and water would be my guess. I'm going to try something tomorrow. I am not going to have coffee, crystal light, sweet&low or gum. Just meat and water. Thats the plan but Im not sure if I'll be able to handle it. Cheer me on guys. I want to experience true zero carb, and the artificial sweetners have to go. Just one day to see if I can do it. I may not cheat on real carbs but my body is in constant cravings of fake sugar.

I will call to get my bloodwork done on Monday. pinkie promise.
