Thanks everyone for the warm welcome!!!
aleriaaa! UM.. Did I read correctly? 17 pounds in 24 days? Did you journal on here while you were losing? I would love to go back and read. I've been reading all the threads (even really old ones) for motivation. I am sitting here thinking about what I am going to do with this shredded chicken to make it more palatable. Throw some mustard on it ? :-/ LOL! Maybe just choke it down plain? |

I can't wait til the ketosis kicks in! I'm a tad hungry this morning.. I will go eat a little more in hopes that the appetite suppression kicks in by this afternoon. It usually doesn't take long for me.

Yes renewed. I journaled everything and still do. I'll give a quick rundown since my pad is right here with me.
7/25 - (189) 24 days - (172) 17 pounds down 46 days - (162) 27 pounds down 69 days - (152) 37 pounds down Slowed down more and more as time went on...and Ive also added fat along the way... week 20 - (131) week 25 - (126) week 26 - (125) week 27 - (123) 66 pounds down Any other plan may have given me the same results, but this is the one Im finding the easiest to stick to. |

For those just starting out- dont do this: For GTs eyes only... I would try 4 days of the 80/20 ground beef (drain very little), or chicken legs/thighs (eat the skin), then do a tuna and chicken breast for 2. Then weigh the next day. Do not weigh before because the scale may be up and I dont want you to get discouraged. |

aleriaaa!! That is the best! Thanks for sharing your results. So for the first 24 days, were you just following the QWL (Is that what this plan is called)? So.. no refeeds, no vegetables, no nothing not on the list.. Or were you doing something else? I see some people do strict stillmans for a few days, then switch to atkins-style eating, then switch back to Stillmans...
I am supposed to be starting a plan soon that is similar to Stillman's but allows for 2 refeed meals a week.. but I wanted to hurry things along and since Stillman's was similar, I decided to do this first... Take off what I can FAST...and then switch to the other plan to keep up with my workouts. The only big difference right now is the veggies...oh. and I guess no refeeds. |

Aleria!
You're the best! Alright, I can do this. I'm sure this weekend will be kind of messed up when I go to Florida for a couple of days (just because of eating out, but I can always order grilled chicken breast)... Oh how I will miss the coffee. I just cannot drink it black..even sweetned. I just can't do it. So you had Crystal Light? Hmm.. ok. I will still try to go as long as I can with just drinking water though. I don't see any eggs on your list! I was thinking that I will make more the Rev Rolls with mostly whites and that should help me choke the dry chicken down a little better |

Well I ended up eating one cheese stick and ,one chicken breast and no turkey or egg. I don't have much of an appetite today! I drank two 33.8 oz bottles of water with one pack of decaf peach flavored tea.
I am gonna try to cut out the egg and cheese stick. I will eat nothing but meat! meat and mmm more meat! I feel like a T-rex or something! And to think I was a vegetarian for three years! Potato, chips, sugar, bread all the bad stuff is still vegetarian LOL.. or at least it was for me ![]() I want to lose 5 lbs this week! Thats my goal, but I wont know for sure if I will make it since I refuse to get on the scale til the 31st! I want to see exactly how much weight I lost in just under a month. When I went for my physical on Jan. 4th they weighed me at 187 pounds. So far I am at 169. so not bad! I am finding that I have a bit of a bad attitude when I go into deep ketosis. I stopped checking the sticks because my urine is so diluted that they don't register! Not even first thing in the morning! ![]() Does anyone else have a bad attitude when they are in deep ketosis? ![]()

Lisa: I always have a bad attitude.. J/K. .
I'm usually in a much better mood; although, I dont' think I ever, really go into Ketosis. . I wonder if this is possible? I think I'll google it and check it out. . I just don't have the woosh factor that everyone else has. . .I feel like I'm still holding, so I'm still OK.. by next month I'll be quicking and screaming. I did fall off the wagon this month more than I ever have .. but at least it only lasted for that time. not weeks and weeks. . I logged into ****** again today and I still think my loss looks good on paper. Not as fancy as Al's. . but it is huge for me. I just remind myself.. we are all different and we lose at different rates. . I guess its all about choice, too! (I chose not to exercise before and I'm choosing to do it now!!
