Hi everyone!

Just scanned through everything I missed....GT, did you mistake msgirls hamburger for a cookie? Wishful thinking.. too funny....

Lisa- you are sounding totally serious this time! I love it! You go!! Preparation is key!

nermo- your willpower is outstanding. You are doing a great job!!! Keep it up! How did the pudding come out?

Cat and Kathy- Sorry its been tough. Glad you hopped right back on track! this is the week to lose!!! which makes us win!!

Hi Sassy! So good to have you here. whether its our first attempt or our 27th, we'll all get through it together!! Stick around and have some fun! What's you menu looking like for for the first couple days?

IM2- if you even mention chocolate again, we'll need to see that pic! And if you eat it again, GT will have to post hers.... new rules ladies..

about the burning meat...Ive read that all the nutrients are destroyed when its over cooked. Burn at your own risk!

A better idea would be to do some crunches while we're cooking and burn off some real calories.

I tried to do push-ups. On my knees, I can only do 4, with a real shaky, grunting, eyes popping out 5. Im proposing a push-up challenge...Im working my way to 25.

Lisa - you really sound like you have it together! I am excited for you!

Nermo - I to am interested in how the pudding turns out. I did something similiar I think it was the oatmeal. It was okay - but i doubt I will do it again

AL - I really hate exercising right now. I think I burned myself out last year when I was going every day at 5:00 a.m.

GT - I just can't believe you thought my hamburger was a cookie

IM2 - I so have issues with the "--------" bus

Sassy - the other posters are right - keep coming here and it will helpsoooo much!!!

CAT - we are here for you!

I went to the gym and worked out as hard as possible. Before I went I worked out on my pilates ball. I try to do that every day, but most the time it is only every other day!

I did 100 crunches on the ball and at the gym I worked legs, arms, did cardio, etc. On the crunch machine i put 50 pounds on it and did an additional 30 crunches! Woohoo!

And to think I was worried that I would be too tired since I only got a few hrs of sleep and had a long day ahead of me!

AL- How long did it take you to get to your current weight?

BTW- I thought it was a chocolate cookie too!

OMG. .MS: I so knew that was a beef patty . . and they think we are the ones obsessed with the "C" word! . .

I walked my little hiney off tonight.. and I'm doing my other MOnday thing. . Watching Intervention/Hoarders. .cooking up my beef and figuring what I need to do to stay on target for the rest of the week. Boys all got a haircut. . did the karate thing and now are all tucked away in their little beds. . I'm still cooking and cleaning the kitchen.. What gives?

Hello.. I have been looking over the Stillman's threads and I'm starting tomorrow. I am going away for the weekend for the ProBowl, but I still want to start tomorrow anyway! I am just too excited. I am currently trying to lose about 15 pounds so I am hoping that Stillman's will get me there! Here we go!

Shoot! I forgot about Hoarders...always makes me feel a little better about my minimally cluttered home...

Went "meat" shopping yesterday. For you midwesterner's Meijers has a sale on boneless pork loin and London broil. I also got frozen chicken breasts and wing sections. Stocking up for super bowl sunday feast...

I have been reading your thread and i have been a low carber for 3 years losing 112#'s and have recently been putting back on the pounds. YICKS!! What is the the tea thing i have read about here? Does it help reaching ketosis quicker? I am on day 1 today and water is the key word today to flush and keep full. I enjoy all the motivation you provide- Lori

Strict Stillmans Challenge

Day one of Strict Stillmans Challenge-

I got up and made the b/f his usual carb filled lunch, but this time I left out his Honey bun and donut stick and put in two peeled hard boiled eggs and two cheese sticks and only one sandwich! This reduced the carbs by 118! That's a third less carbs just by doing that! HE HE HE Remember his usual carb filled lunch has 308 carbs in it! Am I evil or what! LOL

I ate Cottage Cheese with a dash of pepper and a few slices of lean ham!

Hit the Pilates ball and did 60 crunches already!

All this and it's only 5:40 in the morning!

I will have my first 30 oz of water(with 1 pk of CL) down by six and I will be heading to work by 6:30! Another long day, but I packed a lowfat cheese stick, a couple hard boiled eggs, a skinless chicken breast and some roasted turkey.

I had to sit my scale up. I almost stepped on the darn thing! No weighing until the 31st! WOW that is going to be difficult!

I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY and To all our new friends! Remember eat low fat lean meats today!

I hope everyone else has a lean meat filled day!

Day 1 - 152

Today is my first day and I'm excited.

430am -GYM

30 minutes on the Incline Trainer
--plus--
Lat Pull Down
Cable Rows
Rear delts
Lateral Raise
Shoulder Press
RopeTricep Extension
Bicep Curls
Leg Press
Calf Extension

Brought some boiled eggs, boiled chicken breast, and tuna for today. Oh boy!

One question though... Is everyone eating the whole egg or just the whites?

Have a great day!

Wowsers! You are on a roll. .Keep it up. .perhaps some of your enthusiasim will rub off on those of us who tend to be lazy butts!

I go both ways.. I will eat the whole egg . . and i will make a one egg + 3 whites omlet.. so whatever makes you feel more satisfied is the key!

Here's my Day one Plan for Stillmans:

Breakfast - 1 boiled egg with 1/2 cup ground lean beef
Lunch - Turkey Breasts with Mustard and another 1/2 cup ground lean beef
supper - Tuna or Chicken

Water, water, water everywhere. . Black coffee X 2 . .then I will switch to hot tea.

I will walk tonight. .I will. .I will . I will. .Felt pretty good last night although I wasn't tired by the time I got home. I probably need to start getting up at 4:30 like someone else!!! I wonder how many crazies are out at that time?

Hi Lap! Do join us. .we love input. .

About the tea: Not sure.. I know there are many out there that claim to help (Green tea). . I Just know that Tea Lady is obsessed with Tea, Al is hooked on Crystal Light and I experiment with all of them! Since I've tried to cut my caffiene intake, I switch off and on. . peppermint tea seems to be my favorite so far. .The "warm" curbs the appetite too so I suppose it can't hurt. I bet Tea Lady can add better insight. .

Tea Lady? Where for art tho?

So much to say so little time so I don't get caught posting instead of working

hoarders, makes me throw stuff out

I miss working out.

Day 1:

2 eggs with LF cheese, a lake full of water, 16 oz coffee, and lots of pork.

No exercise...but I am down 5 pounds. I must retain water when I exercise. I will try and get a little more food in me today...sinus drainage has made my hunger non-existent.

to all the new losers! Stick with us, I am sure there will be at least one of who has been there and done that.

Have a great day!

Hi Renewed!! Welcome aboard! I lost 17 pounds in the first 24 days. Get ready - Its gonna fall off quick!

Welcome LA!!! Great job dropping all that weight! the rest will come off nice and smooth now that you're here. Stick with us and fill up on meat!
