Hello Everyone;

well i am trying to make the stillmans cottage cheese pudding but i can't seem to find stevia where I am, they have splenda and equal what is best, i konw stevia has no cals and no carbs

Nermo: You are quite creative. cottage cheese pudding. . .I just tried the cottage cheese with a little jello last week. . Jury's still out . . I'm not a huge cottage cheese eater but it was good for something different..

IM- Thank you for the support!

I am really tired today and the pantry looks so appealing!(I will stay out of it because I know I am just tired and I really do not wanna post a pic of my backside!) I don't want any of my friends to have nightmares for the week!!!

I have a 12 hr day ahead of me. I am booked with patients until 7 pm and I have been up since 5 am and went to bed around 12:30! I just couldn't sleep!

I do have a two hour break today, but I need to be in the office during that time. I might just skip the office and take a nap!

I have all my LC goodies bagged up and ready to go for the day!

I still want to lose one more size or two if possible by Valentines Day. The b/f is so NOT romantic anyway, but I am doing it for me not him! so ha ha ha! LOL

Well off to the shower, change into my scrubs and headed to my first patients house. Take care everyone. I will check in when I am able! Good day and Good eating!

Weighing in

I have decided not to weigh in until Jan 31st! I found that if I jump on the scale and it is up a 1/2 pound or more I get upset and tend to get discouraged. This is going to be difficult for me because I am addicted to the scale! My monthly is right around the corner and I know that I put on water weight during that time and I am sure the ham with it's sodium will be unforgiving too. I want to be prepared for excess water weight and not check in on the scale until I know that it is gone! Have a great day everyone! Now I am really getting ready for work!

I had a very rough last week, between the husband's kidney infection, I have caught yet another cold. SOOOOOO sick of being sick. I refuse to step on the scale until next Monday the stress got to me needless to say. I have to take a break from exercising, my knee is killing me, so my calorie intact needs to come down a bit. I will miss exercising Hopefully the knee will get better, but I am thinking a trip to the doc is in order.

New week and new attitude!

Hope everyone has a great day and sticks with it!

So.....I ate (and drank) too much bad stuff on Saturday, got back on track yesterday and lost .5 pound! I seriously think changing things up a bit helps, as long as you can get right back on track. Have a great day everyone...

Looks like everyone is detoxing Lisa - I notice if I do not eat on plan I through all water to the side - wonder if there is some correlation between water drinking and bad eating??

MustLove - congrats on the .5 lb!

AL - did you lose yet another pound? Girl you are smokin'!!!!!!

GT - Wow - not weighing til Feb 1st??? I am so addicted I just HAVE to weigh each day - plus I notice it keeps me accountable. I know an ounce up or down is frustrating to me but if I am up it makes me down that much more water. Weird huh?

IM2 - It's funny how popcorn is your demon - mine is donuts - they kill me! I can't seem to walk past them without drooling all over the ground!! What gives???

Okay - so who's up to a 3 day challenge of super strict Stillman's???

I mean super strict - no BLT's (bites, licks, or tastes) as IM2 puts it?

No fat, no extras anywhere??? Any takers??

(Not you AL - I know you are blowing us all out of the water, unless you want to of course)

By the way.....I just had to change my AVATAR!!! Take away the cake and add that lean ground beef!

Did you all know that I read in Dr. Stillman's QWL book that the more you cook your meat the less calories it retains? I had never heard that before!

Here's to eating some WELL DONE meat

I am up for the strict challenge. I thought the popcorn would be the only trip. .but I took a few rounds on the chocolate bus, too!

It's OK.. I'm going to weigh in on Wednesday after I've had two days of perfectness!

Lisa: Don't forget to take a few well-deserved breaks today. Believe me, I know long hours. I do it all the time, too - except I sit on my butt in front of the computer. .

Hey guys this is what i found, I think our own Al put it up.


Cottage Cheese Pudding

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Cottage Cheese Pudding
From QWL Diet Cookbook p. 153

2 cups cottage cheese. small curd, low/ non fat
3 eggs, well beaten
½ tsp vanilla
½ tsp orange extract
Splenda to equal 2 TBS
¼ tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp salt

Combine all the ingredients gently, and spread
in a shallow, non stick baking dish. Sprinkle
top with a little nutmeg. Bake in 325° oven
(preheated)for about ¾ of an hour (tested by
inserting knife in pudding, done when knife is clean).
Makes 8 servings (90 calories per serving)

Well I went out to the movies with my kids today, then out to lunch- they got mc donald's happy meals and i went to some place at the food court that had a mix grill combo- i told them no bread and no salad- and it tasted yummy- i don't know legal it was but we will soon see once i weigh in

LOL IM2- I am not a big fan of popcorn- even though they had the carmel covered popcorn too- but popcorn doesn't phase me. What drives me BANANAS is the smell of chinese food at the food court, OMG I kept saying just one day u need a break but I DIDN'T (patting myself on the back).

Even though the chicken and stuff grilled tasted like it was processed and probably had a little fat while cooking but at least I didn't have the teriyaki chicken or the sweet and sour chicken with that rice. Ahhhhhhhhh feels good

Will be checking the scale tomorrow !

I'm doing the walking thing tonight. .If I do go back to Zumba. . it will be on the golden night, which I found out is for golden oldies!! That is exactly what I need. .slow and steady.

out on the road

So I ate at a place called pizza ranch today! I know it is high in fat, but I did not eat the crust! I couldn't pass up a free buffet with the girl I am doing orientation with!!!

Okay I am so in on the Three day low fat, no BLT, challenge!I can do it!

I am going to the gym tonight to help work off the fat from the buffet! WOO HOO!!! I do a little strength training along with some light cardio. I have a pilates ball that I use at home as much as possible.

How many calories should I be consuming? I still feel like I eat an awful lot!

Sassy just do your best to check in daily. It will help keep u on track and We are a big bunch of losers here! I was told that when I joined I think by Dustin, but not sure! He is missing right now! I hope the aliens didn't get a hold of him!
