Congrats on your losses Lisa

IM2 - I can't drink Pepsi Max, for some reason those extra ingredients, ginseng or something nauseates me something fierce. I love those roasted chickens but picking all the meat off is time consuming but soooo worth it.

Almost weighed myself this morning, but since I showered last night after working out I let him cry. I am hoping to wait until Monday to weigh and see some losses.

I did really well again yesterday, some deli roast beef, three eggs with a bit o' cheese and a LF mozzarella cheese stick. I forgot to pack my lunch for work so it was slim pickins.

Have a great day or evening everyone!

OMG OMG OMG.....I need serious sympathy!!!!! A coworker had a birthday at work and so we had coffee and cake.......anyway someone brought in a huge box of donuts.......cream vanilla, jam-filled, cream and cherries filled, eggnog(!) and my personal favourite ...Nutella-filled (choc-hazelnut spread) chocolate-covered one......No seriously I could have cried-think a little tear did actually crawl down my face!!!! I looooove Nutella---I could eat it out of the jar with a spoon----gotta say have done it in the past! It was just not funny!!! And because I kept saying no, people kept putting them close to my face--and I could actually see the Nutella oozing out!!!!!!
Well I didn't cave---but it took every ounce of willpower I ever had---I might actually have caved if I had been at 133(my mini-goal!) but that's a whole 5lbs away!
So anyway I'm home having my tuna-filled, tuna-covered tuna!!!!!

BUT..You pulled through like the champ that you are!!!! Nice job!!! Ive never had nutella. I purchase my first jar a few months back to see if the kids would like it and I didnt even give it a taste. Eating without thinking!

So I got up this morning at 5 am like I do 5 times a week and I made my b/f his carb filled lunch! I guess I must have been really tired or i just wasn't thinking. When I went to put the trail mix in I reached in the bad and pulled out a small handful with a few peanuts, 1 piece of dried papaya, a few almonds and one piece of dried pineapple! I had eaten the nuts first and then the two pieces of dried fruit! Neither one of them were bigger than a nickle, but when the they hit my mouth I was in heaven for a sec. Until I woke up and realized oh crap! The sweetness woke me right up!!! I really need to be mindful about what I am putting in my body especially when I am really tired and not quite awake yet! Lessoned learned I guess! Has anyone else found themselves doing this sort of thing?

It may take me a couple shots when I start a diet and I have to reach the desperation point, but I have always had the willpower to stay on track no matter what and get the weight off. My real problems come after I lose the weight and I go back to my old ways..... Its the reason Im still eating meat and meat only...that one veggie or piece of cheese may set me off and Im not willing to take that chance just yet. So I guess its willpower and fear that keep me going. I never saw myself as one with a good metabolism....but maybe the meat has cured it! woohooo! I really should change my name to ALLorNOTHIN...

Okay I need medical ideas from you all. I did low carb for 12 days, ate normally this past Sat and Sun, and have been back on plan Since Monday. Here is my problem: I have had mucous in my #2 area since Sunday night. Ive had 2 normal #2s since then but not without the mucous. Now today I have blood, diarrhea, urge to go, and mucous. Im 32 years old and have NEVER had any intestinal issues in my life other than a GI bug. WTH is going on? Im considering continuing eating this way and if it gets worse, then Ill call a doc. Is it at all possible that changing my diet ubruptly like I did on Sat and Sun caused irritation? Sorry for so much info, but Im just trying to figure out what gives....

Hi Shannon-

Im sorry you're having trouble. Im not really sure how to help, but if the blood is red you may have hemmorroids? If there was a problem with your stomach/intestines/etc, the blood would be dark or even black. Am I correct anyone?

A little worried about the weekend. My daughter and her BF are coming home for the weekend and will expect there to be carb laden foods around the house. My daughter is a marathon runner! I guess I could just buy things I don't like...NOT!!!!, I LOVE all carby junk!

Yikes, any suggestions? Breakfast is covered...I found a great egg and sausage casserole (with no bread). We have lunch planned out and dinner planned out, so maybe I won't need so much around the house. The other problem is that both places are known for their micro brews... The dinner place I know has a grilled salmon and roasted veggies, but not sure about the lunch place.

Kathy

MustLOVE - It is hard going out - I will give you that. But, how often does your daughter come into town? I say don't sweat it - just be as careful as possible and enjoy your time with family. Those moments are precious and few!

Cat - Keep up the good work! You will be so glad you did!!!

Shannon - That sounds serious! I am with AL - what about hemorrhoids or maybe a tear from being constipated That can cause bleeding. It should heal on its on if that is what it is. If not, I would def get it checked out!

Yeah Kathy, I second that. Just do the best you can-you're never gonna be able to do pure Still's out! Just keep away from the refined carbs like pasta and the bread basket and stick to meat/fish and the veggies (salmon sounds god!) and stay away from the desert trolley! Hee! Good luck!

I second staying away from the desserts!!!! It is SOOOOOOOOO hard to get them out of your system. If it weren't for sweets I would weigh 100 lbs!!!! Truly they are my downfall!!!

I don't care for bread, I can live without pasta - but sweets - don't even get me started!!!

Me too!! Ok maybe not under 100lbs!! I can live without everything-nearly!-except-you've guessed it!- chocolate! I can't even have a tiny bit--have to have the whole bar, regardless of what size it is! ...One square a day---I don't think so!! More like one square a second. I have seriously deciced I can't buy it anymore(well obviously not on Stills but later) it just makes me want more, and more, and more.........

GT - Now I am certain you are my twin!!!

I have friends who say, "Just eat little, one of those snack size bars." They tell me that's all it takes for them. What they don't realize is if I eat a little I CANNNNOTTTT stop!!! I have to eat the whole bag.

I realized I had a problem when I bought an entire bag of Hersheys nuggets filled with toffee and almonds and ate them on the way home THE WHOLE BAG!!!!! That it just one millionth of an example with my chocolate/sweet issues!

There is just no such thing as moderation with me!!!!

Hi Kathy! Say no way to the carbs! We can come up with lots of stuff that has nothing to do with bread, sweets or junk!

Family Dinner at home: Roast Prime Rib
Lunch: Herb-Stuffed Porkloin
Fancy Restaurant: Filet Mignon
Take Out: Grilled Chicken at KFC??? (this might be junk but good in a pinch)

I like the egg and sausage idea for breakfast- sounds really good!

Dont let one weekend set you back!!! Stay strong!!
