Hey Al,

Sure, don't beat yourself up! Drink lots of water and flush that crap outta of you!! Remember that I fell off the horse twice and I got right back on! I'm more determined to get through the next 20 days until my date!!!

Maybe you should do something to give you a goal. Maybe join a 300 meter marathon in May and that will give you something to commit to and a firm date. You don't want to be calling the marathon folks and give them an excuse that you couldn't do it!

I have a goal to reach (my blind date) and I think that helped me to stick with it through Thanksgiving and New Year. I only allowed myself one cheat day and that is on Christmas Day and I tried not to feel guilty!

Hi all,
Will be officially weighing in tomorrow and am not keen to be honest. I ate carbs this week and have lacked motivation. Tomorrow will be a new start though, and I've ordered in my eggs and turkey.

dlyons..I need to get myself an ab cruncher I think. I hold most of my weight on my tummy. Still, for all I know I could have a six pack...just can't see it for all the blubber.

IM2fat ..I weigh daily too. I know I shouldn't, as I can get really despondant with all those fluctuations. But I'd rather that, than have a big shock once a week.

aleriaaa...yep, tomorrow is a new start. As you know, I'm new to Stillman's but I'm determined this will work for me. Kick my butt when you need to (it's ok, I have a lot of padding).

Good luck to us all.

Hello everyone! Well, it looks like I won't be joining you just yet on Stillman! I talked to my husband about my plans, and he agreed to do Atkins Induction combined with intermittant fasting. He will NOT do Stillman. So for now I am going to do Atkins and IF with him. However, I do plan to do Stillman over Lent so I will be planning on joining you all again after Februrary 16.

Good luck everyone, and I will see you in Februrary.

AL - as for my bacon - I eat several slice maybe once or twice a week. It's not something I have everyday.

I must confess.....I have to weigh everyday it keeps me a little more sane. Remember when we agreed to wait to weigh on a Saturday? i nearly went insane and I gained!!! So, I decided everyday is a gentle reminder. But, if I start freaking out someone knock me over the head and tell me to step away from the scale

Dustin - You are so right. A goal like your date helps motivate - at least that's how I feel.

Now I need to think of something to keep my motivation going. I mean I love the steady downward trend of the scale but, I need something else. I don't want to do a marathon I am just too lazy Believe it or not though I used to run 2 miles everyday.

IM - You are always a happy camper here so if you need encouragement come see us I bet those purple boots are AWESOME!!! I want some too!! But, one of my "resolutions" for this year is to only buy things I need. It is going to be so hard because I could easily be labeled a shopaholic. I could so relate to that movie Confessions of a Shopaholic~~~~

Azura - Good luck to you! Keep posting and it will add to your excitement! This group of Stillmanites are perfect when you need a friend who understands your Way of eating

Hope everyone has a great day!

I think I had a good day today (my first )

B=3 scrambled eggs (I use light olive oil in a spray bottle and squirt twice)
S= leftover turkey thigh
L= 3 scrambled eggs small piece of chicken
D= 2 thin pork chops (fat cut off) spoonful of low fat cottage cheese

I could not finish dinner as I feel quite full, but what do you think for my first day...good?

Hey everyone! I got my butt out of bed early and ran to the store to get my 2 Sunday Papers (I am also a huge coupon clipper. . I love getting free stuff! Actually, my lifestyle forces me to do this as I have 5 hungry boys to feed who use a ton of toilet paper and shampoo . and for some reason, they think all of that grows on trees in the back yard!)

Anyway, I did weigh in the morning! It was pretty ugly. .actually very ugly. . I'm up 6 pounds again! Eerrrr. . I refuse to change my stats yet. . If I can't get it off by next Sunday, I will.. I realize part of it is water weight and I know myself enough to know that I gain twice as much, twice as fast when I ignore the signals and I've had quite a few!!! Those tastes add up fast. . I can't blame anyone but myself . .Today is my ease back into it day. . . I pulled out the arsenal. . Crystal Light. .tea . .pork. . chicken and tuna! Just like 'ole friends - they make me smile! It's almost like a dirty little secret. . hehehehe

Dustin: I'm going to think of a new goal/reward for myself and really push it. . Although I should think of exercise as a reward. . I dread it. .Why? it absolutely bores me to death and I always think of all the other things I should be doing instead. Let me know how your ab machine works out. If I did 25 crunches a day. .I'd be uber excited!

MS: I have to see that movie. I think I have obsessive compulsive shopping disorder or something! I love bargains and hate to pay full price for anything. Coupons rock!

Dustin and AL: Thank you for reminding me why I need to do this. . . am a much happier person when I have it under control. .

Az: Yes! I'm dusting off the scale and going back to my daily weigh-in. I am positive that's how I jumped the track! Back to real life. . .

D, D, D....even the thought of a marathon just freaks me out. But your right on track to have me think of a goal in mind. Im talkin a big talk with the whole exercise thing right now... Make sure I stay true to my word. when Leslie arrives Im gonna hit the living room walkin!

azura - You, me, and IM2 are on!!! Nothing but good clean Stillman's tomorrow. Or Else!!! (giving out swift kicks right now!!!) hit me back!

IM2 - You are all set and ready to go!!! Im with ya! Crystal Light and all!

So, I went down deep into the basement today and pulled out lots of clothes. My basement in like my own personal consignment shop now... most of them fit, but there are a few pairs of jeans and pants that just look a little too tiny. That'll be my goal for now...

hey MsG! Looks like were back to "back to back" weigh ins. I think its a good way to go for the moment. It time to kick this thing up a notch and get super serious! (and I just want to remind you what a great job you've been doing!)

Mrs. N - Menu looks good. how do you feel?? Nice job getting through Day 1!!

poopsie - good luck to you, as well. Hope to see you back!

Finally bought a set of scales. Will weigh myself on Wednesday as I have just finished TOM, and will also measure myself again.

So far:

Cannot wait for ketosis to kick in as I do feel quite hungry every few hours...

B; 3 scrambled eggs piece of roasted chicken
S; 3 scrambled eggs piece of lean pork

Only lost half a pound this week, but I expected that as I'd been off track (a giant bag of raisins yesterday).

Today's menu is looking like this..

Bk/lch...3 scrambled eggs
Dnr...chicken breast
Snks...2 slices turkey breast.

May even get on the rower for a while.
Hope everyone is well today and has lots of motivation.

This may sound alot, but am hoping that that no hunger feeling everyone is talking about will kick in...

Yesterday and today have been good days. I have not got enough water in today as I have to travel quite a bit and their is never a loo around when you need it!

Well I am back to Stillman's again after a hiatus of eating what I want and gaining back a few pounds. I really love Stillman's and know it will work. Last time I lost 16 pounds in 16 days. Looks like a great and motivated group here and I look forward to reading about all your losses.

Morning all

Day two for me and I lost half a pound overnight. I was hoping it would be more, as I was soooo hungry yesterday and had about 600 calories. I guess my body is changing from high fat to low fat.
Hope all is well and everyone finds the strength to be on plan today. I'm going to have to dig deep.

Good Morning!

Mrs! WTG keep it up and you'll be a big loser in no time!

Azura: I'm feeling ya. . I lost 1 pound .. .I wanted it to be more considering I gained way more than that in one day but I'll take it. I'm starting to feel a little more re-newed but need to keep focused! Still can't get myself motivated enough to actually exercise. Ya know. .too busy, again

Anyway. .here's to a wonderful Tuesday!

Dustin: we need a crunch report. Al: Did you order your new shoes yet? Just checking. . .

Also did treadmill yesterday 30 minutes. Have a good day. I will check in later.

Mornin' all

One pound down 29 more to go. I walked two miles yesterday and ate some chicken, chicken broth, cheated with a little cheese but it didn't seem to stall me too much. Sometimes I just need a little fat

Heading off for my morning mile...have a great day everyone!

Checking in for today!!

Yesterday I was SO hungry!!! Had my normal lf cottage cheese/sf jello for breakfast, lean ground meat for lunch, and didn't get home for supper til after 7

I was famished!!! So, I had 1 1/2 chicken breasts and more cottage cheese. Finished my night off with hot tea and TONS of water.

I am having the hardest time getting my water down right now. When I first started Stillmans I didn't have this hard of a time with my water!! Ugh!!!

Mork - welcome back to Stillmans then! You obviously have had success in the past and we all love success stories!

Cat - i hear you about the fat. It is not easy getting used to a lower fat lifestyle when you have been a trained Atkins person

Im2 - Happy Tuesday to you! You sound like you are on the ball and ready to hit it hard this year! Stay focused!!

Azura - Congrats on the loss! Be strong! Stillmans really works when you give it your all!!!

Mrs Nadal - WOW 2 inches in 2 days That is awesome!!!

I will check in with you all later!

Mork: It could be a good thing you were hungry this morning. . must mean your metabolism is kicking into overdrive. 30 minutes on a treadmill is like an eternity for me! WTG

Cat: I'm jealous.. a morning walk actually sounds pretty refreshing. . Gosh Darn work thing keeps getting in my way.

MS: I have to admit. .my water is a little easier this time around since I've started alternating with Al's drug of choice, Crystal light. I've laid off the soda but am hydrating with hot tea, coffee, crystal light and an occasional pure life water. . so far, I've made about 10 trips to the restroom. . I consider it my exercise for the morning! My coworkers, on the other hand, think I have a serious problem. . They've been avoiding me for some reason!!!

Where is everyone?????

Dustin??? AL???? GT????

Is it just IM2 and I???? I miss my friends!!

Okay - so I just gave in and ordered the QWL book and the Inches off book of Stillman's from Amazon. Total for both - $11.83! That included shipping and handling.

I know I am nuts but....I just had to get the books!!

I have so many diet books - but Stillmans has been the one I have been most successful with! I still peruse Atkins from time to time and I have the Alternate Day Diet book that I liked too. But, Stillmans has beat both of those hands down, IMO!!!

Hope everyone is okay today

Ughh. I blew it today. Wont go into detail but back on tomorrow. Feeling like a loser right now. Just have to get past that third day and I will be fine. I will still do my treadmill and check in tomorrow. Going grocery shopping is what did it to me. I think I am done with that job until I can control myself. Too many temptations. When I can't see it it doesnt bother me as much.
