Here's a review on those Sketcher's shape up shoes. I have to agree that running in those shoes is not recommended.

Oh those Sketchers are exactly like MBTs-with the weird rockin back and forth action. They def make you stand up straighter tho! Wonder if you still stand up so straight after you take them off, like does it train you?!

Even if they dont end up toning my butt and legs, the posture that they give me is priceless. I look taller and thinner already! Still wish they were higher.. oh...and my feet look really cute and tiny. My pants hang over where the shoe really ends, so all you can see is the cut off rounded part.

Evening Everyone!

I ended up having dinner which consisted of a lean hamburger patty, a smidge of Ketchup and two fried eggs. I have had a migraine all day so I haven't slowed my caffeine down yet...Thanks for the info TeaLady I will definately try your plan. I have had no Splenda today which has been a good thing! I only use it in coffee, so no coffee, no Splenda.

A lady at my office wears those Shape-ups 24/7 and she loves them. She has a black pair and a white pair. I am thinking of getting a pair just for my walks at work.

Congrats Shannon on your loss, hope it keeps up. My first time through was 16 pounds in 16 days.

Dustin - How can you stand that much tuna? I don't think I could stomach it.

Getting There - Which DVD's do you have?

Hi aleriaaa, I've never done Stillmans before, and I today is my first day. Still trying to figure out what the diet is about. I had 1 whole egg with 2 egg whites for breakfast (with a tiny bit of olive oil to cook with), and chicken breast with a handful of mixed greens for lunch, and same thing for dinner. Don't know if it's right but I'm hungry! Don't know if I'll be able to last. Any advice?

Welcome feebi!!

First, do you have any poms-poms? What color are they?
Second, water! Drink lots of water.... 64 ounces or more! Gotta flush that crap outta of your body!
Third, No olive oils, no butter, no added fat. Cut out those. Have pure meat. Chicken, Turkey, Fish, Tuna. You can grill, cook in a slow cooker, etc... but not added oils. No veggies also.

Eat as much meat until you are satisfied. Please read the sticky threads here at Stillman's forum.... you will learn a lot. This is low fat version of Atkins.

Ask away! Welcome!

-Dustin

Hey guys.. now that we've all been suffering.. er. living the STillman way. .Do you ever ask yourself how the people doing ATkins lose? I haven't strayed very far from either plan. Atkins or Stillmans and my results are not very positive. . How long does it take to get back into ketosis if you "fall out".. I am trying to be 100% perfect this week . .because I've been stuck in the 150's forever . .I Want out. . and I want out, now!!! Just kinda feeling sorry for myself . . . O and I think I need Skechers, too..

Thanks for the support guys. I forgot to mention that at first I was reading *******, that's why I used some olive oil for cooking, but then as I kept reading it seems to be a dangerous diet. So that's why I am trying Stillmans. Well, no more cooking oil starting tomorrow!

IM2 yes i hear the food on atkins is deliciooooooooooous, i was wondering the sam ething to myself the other day- lol i was wondering y the heck did i choose stillman's but the scale answered that for me.

i heard gruesome stories about atkins- my boss at work and my brother both had similar experiences of getting sent to the hospital- probably from consuming all that fat.

IM2 i think ur body is just confused i don't know maybe try sticking to one plan for a week and see how that goes. I am sorry I don't really know much about how the body responds to atkins, but i know that if I saw 150 i would be in HEAVEN;-)

take care nd I hope u see all the results - U deserve it !!!!!!!!!!!

WOW! Shannon, you must be young! I am on day 10 and only lost 3.5 pounds... I am doing more of a modified Atkins than Stillman's, but this is one of the most supportive threads I have seen on LCF...

GT - if you do Billy Blanks for about a month you will definitely see a difference! I love it, I do it about 2 times a week. The ab workout is disgustingly hard, and even that makes me sweat buckets.

That women who always works out on his left is his daughter - I want a body like hers!!
