Difficult to do with meatballs, though. You may want to put them on a rack so they aren't sitting in the grease~! When I make meatballs, I get the leanest ground beef possible. . or you could use ground turkey. . Beware, though. . .some of the ground turkey actually has more fat than beef. .

Hey Ladies!

I just got back from shopping at the Prime Outlet. I'm so happy they are only 20 minute drive from my home.... easy drive down the freeway and I'm there! I got there a little after 10:00 when most stores open at 10:00.

Guess what! Sketchers have an outlet shop there and I just bought those "shape-up" shoes. A little more expensive than I expected, but they are GREAT!!! Right away after I put them on, I can feel a difference in my posture and my back. The lady there advised me to only wear them indoors to keep the shoes clean and will last longer when I wanted to wear them out of the store. She also advised me to wear them to the gym and walk around their track or wear them at work if the job is mostly sitting at the desk. She really loves those shoes and so do I! They are so comfortable... just a little weird to be walking in them. Those shoes reminds me of walking at the beaches at Cape May, NJ.

Now, as for the cologne. The clerk at Perfumania was very helpful... full of good advice and suggestions. I told her I wanted to try out two colognes... Clariborne and Obsession. I asked her to bring out any other colognes that are similar to those 2 that you guys suggested.

She had me sample 12 different brands. I narrowed it down to my favorite 4. I asked her to spray the backside of those strips so I cannot see the names because I want to pick the best smell without thinking of the prices or the name. Guess what I ended up with?!!? Obsession. Wow, you ladies are great with your advice and suggestions!! Thank you!

It's been a great hour!!! Beautiful Sunday morning.... cold, but sunny and almost blue sky. I feel that I am just about ready for my blind date.... the only thing left is a pair of good black jeans or good black pants. I will save that for the next weekend!!

Keep those advice and suggestions coming! This guy is very grateful! Damn, now I need another can of tuna!

-Dustin

Hi Dustin! Wow you've had a great morning! Yeah CKs Obsession is one of my favs! I must check out the Scetchers--I haven't seen them at home. Are thay like MBTs? Meant to copy walking barefoot. I tried my Mum's a few years ago but they were really slippery indoors and looked awful--they've got better looking now tho!

Dustin! Great choice. .I don't think you or your date will be sorry. .The scent can be over-powering so be careful how much you put on. . I tend to become immune to the smell after awhile. . I got a bottle of Secret Obsession for Christmas to change things up . . and I love it!

I want Skechers, now. . .Give us a report at the end of the day. .I trust you are wearing them around the house. . I just had a visual. .Dustin. .wearing nothing but Skechers and Obsession!!! heheh I crack myself up!

By the way, I'm here for the day. .I am working on taxes right now. . so you know I'll take a LCF break!

Hi IM, They are very comfortable. I wore them outside and they felt fine when walking through the snow and icy patches on the ground. I felt pretty safe so far. I'm wearing them around the house. I plan to wear then at work. What I will do is wear my regular shoes when going to work and when I arrive and settle at my desk, I will change into the Sketchers. Never heard of MBTs.

Okay-Dokie!! I will be in my 40s soon!

-Dustin

Just an edit to state that those shoes feels like walking in the sand or in snow... they seem to give you some resistance. The lady at the store explained that it forces you to work harder at walking. She's right.... my calves feel like they are getting a slight workout, but my posture is fantastic when I stand up. Those shoes forces me to stand up straight.

Those sketcher shoes are everywhere in England at the moment, I think I will have to go and try a pair on.

Dustin you are going to look and smell gorgeous on your date - especially in black designer jeans.

Hey GT,

No need to apologize! I am aware that men can lose weight much faster while women seems to hang onto their weight longer. My mother is going through the same thing... she loses weight very very slowly. I personally think it is caused by her medication... she takes many pills every day. I keep hoping that she can be weaned off on some of those pills.

Thanks Mrs. Nadal for your positive words!

If you do try on those shoes, please share your thoughts. It will be nice to share the positives and negatives. So far, I have been wearing those shoes for almost 2 hours. The only negative I have is that those shoes are expensive.

Dustin for sake of prying too much .. .how much did you end up getting yours for? We have prime outlets about an hour away and I'm wondering if they are worth the drive. I can always buy them on-line but I love a good discount. .

Hi IM!

Nah, it is not prying. I looked at the prices on Sketchers and they are same prices at the store. If you order from the website, you will save on sales tax and get free shipping. Not unless you live in CA, then you have to pay sales tax.

Personally, I will go to the store and try on the shoes and see if you like them and then look for bargains online. I have been spending some money and I was feeling good about myself so I splurged. To be honest with you, I have not splurged on myself like this in about 5 years!!!!

Now, I'm starting on my third can of tuna! Yum-Yum!

Smart decision IM. If you have to be shopping and there is a Sketcher store, then try on the shoes and then order online.

I'm curious about Al when she comes back! I hope that she tried them on and share her thoughts with us.

Guys. I'm finally on the bandwagon. . I just came across the best 7 day workout ever . .I am starting immediately. .

Day 1

Beat around the bush several times
Jump to conclusions all the time
Climb the walls
Wade through the daily paper from start to finish

Day 2

Drag my heels constantly
Push my luck all the time
Make mountains out of mole hills
Hit the nail on the head regularly

Day 3

Bend over backwards
Jump onto the latest bandwagon
Run around in circles all day

Day 4

Advise the Prime Minister how to run the country
Blow my own trumpet constantly
Pull out all the stops for just today
Add fuel to the fire

»Day 5

Open a can of worms
Put my foot in my mouth regularly
Start the ball rolling often
Go over the edge in the evening

Day 6

Pick up the pieces
Raise the roof
Lift a pint many times
Skip the washing up

Day 7

Kneel in prayer
Bow my head in thanksgiving
Raise my hands in praise
Hug and cuddle someone and encourage them
What an amazing workout!

Ladies,

Okay, I finally opened my box of Obsession. I did not realize that it comes with a sprayer thing.

I usually pour a bit onto my hands and then run my hands around the back of my neck. Now, this is a classy cologne. For Pete's sake, the box is impractically an art with a sleeve to hold the bottle in place.

Spritz the bottle once at my neck? A couple of spritzes on the wrists of my hands? How much is too much and how little is too little? I don't want to be lugging the bottle around to keep reapplying to myself.

Hey Nermo,

I feel the same way at first. Then you will start noticing that you are not hungry and then have to force yourself to eat. This is how I feel about my tuna.... I don't feel hungry, but I know that I must eat. The last can of tuna, it tastes great because I am feeling hungry. But if I am not feeling hungry and make myself eat, then I have that barf feeling that you are experiencing.
