Those "fake" sugar free candies can really upset my stomach. I try to stay away from those since they have a laxative effect on me. It's not fun!
It is great to see some new faces here!!! -Dustin |

Was just looking up fitness dvds. Saw the Jillians 30 day shred-looks good! She says you can loose 20lbs in 30 days
---Hmmm I wonder! I was looking at one from a celeb-yeah I usually don't like them but this celeb dropped from an American size 12 to a 2 and lost 3 stone-in something like 4months -less actually! (seriously jealous ) It's based on interval training-I've heard that's good! I really need something to tone and shrink my thighs-seriously can't wear anything above the knee-and all the stupid skirts ,dresses and tunics are seriously short-and legging really look horrible! And they're everywhere---I soo wish they'd go out of fashion quickly!! O.k. my rambling is over now! |

Hey Al,
I just want the butt to be slimmer, not flat! Thanks GT. Maybe I will get some photos taken soon closer to my blind date. I was planning to send her my recent photos so she will recognize me! -Dustin |

I call those foods who have a long list of ingredients that I don't recognize them... "Frankenstein foods" I read that somewhere on the Internet... maybe on this forum.
Those Atkins bars are great example...the ingredients have scary names that sounds like poisonous chemicals! I think that is why I try to stick to entire natural foods.... such as chicken breasts, pork loins and eggs. Drinking lots of water seems to help. I no longer pee as much as I used to when I first started drinking about 80 oz of water a day. -Dustin |

GT:After an evening with Jillian 2 nights ago, I am still shredded. armpits and thighs are still sore. above my chest feels like a black and blue to the touch. I'm realizing now I should just do some simple exercises to get back in the swing of things. Youve been exercising all along so Im sure it'll be easy peasy for you.
I just requested Yoga for Dummies from Netflix. Maybe thats more my speed. I need to be more flexible. I cant even bend far enough to touch my toes without grabbing my legs and crawling to them. |

Hey Al,
Slow down on those exercise routines.... how about Leslie Sansone Walking DVDs.... my mother is very heavyset and she likes those videos because it is gentle on her. Check them out.... and then work your way from Leslie to Jillian. Just a suggestion. Go a google search for "leslie sandstone walk away the pounds" I found several nice hits with some additional info. -Dustin Last edited by dlyons; 01-01-2010 at 03:25 PM.. |

thanks for the info D! I dont have a treadmill so it may be a little tough to do circles in the livingroom.
Editing to say that I jumped the gun!!! No treadmill needed! This may be exactly what I need. Thanks so much! Last edited by aleriaaa; 01-01-2010 at 03:37 PM.. |

I don't really have any on my thighs-maybe a tiny bit but I do think that can be toned up. It's the top of my stomach that's bad-above my waist-not the bottom part at all. And that's so annoying because before I put on weight my waist was my best part-I'm def a pear! The tops of my arms aren't that great either. I've rubbed in cream and oil in from day one-dunno if they work tho! I have been googling about it and I found a thing called Thermage-it's like a laser to tone up skin so I'm hoping that that's all I will need! I probably think that maybe I should have more loose skin because of what I've lost but I still hate it.. ..As I say I don't even want to think about it. I'll get to goal first!! I think exercise does help tho! |

Hey Al,
Does Netflix have those Leslie Sandstone videos?? I may have to consider picking up Netflix. That's why my mother likes those videos... no treadmills and does not need a lot of room for the workout. It is mostly standing in place. I think several of her DVDs require equipment but you can get them anyplace.... such as small dumbbells and resistance bands. -Dustin |

Thank you for your welcomes
I'm going to have to get used to not cooking my eggs with fat and cutting any fat off the meat. Going to try without veggies for as long as I can. Hopefully this will shift some blubber for me. Want to start exercising too...slowly at first as I'm a lazy moo. |
