Al I checked on the website CalorieKing and per 4oz there is 1.1g of fat and 0.3 saturated fat, so I think I am okay.

I reckon in no time you will see the scales moving downwards.

according to my tuna pouches....the albacore has 1.5g of fat per 2 oz and the chunk light tuna has 0.5g (never realized they had any fat - this kinda stinks)

Im also kind of ticked that my Vitamin C contains cornstarch. Why oh why do I always mess up and buy the wrong vitamins!!!! Im gonna take them anyway (2 bottles worth)...oh well.

Al I take powdered Vit C - no powder, no fillers - tastes fowl but it does the job.

There are way too many hidden carbs in stuff. . I guess a good rule of thumb.. don't put anything in your mouth - of course then we would definately be thin.. and DEAD!

Al: We can talk about exercise a little while longer. . ...I so enjoy it! Best kinda exercise there is! We need to do it. . we have to do it. . we should be doing it. .

Dustin Driveway shoveling is the bomb!

I'm jumping on the tuna bandwagon today. I brought 2 pounches. .(I love those things because you don't have to drain all the nasty stuff off). . and I'm drinking the water i didn't get to finish yesterday.

I'm still the same. . scale didn't move any even after I kicked it

Morning everyone! SNOW, SNOW, and more SNOW!!!!

I am down to 137 now! Still hoping for 135 by tomorrow!!!!

Wow Mrs. N - You rock! Stillman's really is amazing!

AL - I hope you get your sketchers but I still only want to talk about exercise

IM2 - glad they made it home!

Azura - Congrats on the losses!

Dustin - I hear you about the snow...I couldn't even get UP my driveway last night. And, this morning I just kind of slid down. I am so thankful for a garage!!!!

Nermo - I use both garlic and onion to spice mine up. I would try it and if you don't lose then I would eliminate it. I would think what you end up eating is minimal anyway. I use the low sugar Heinz ketchup on my ground beef and I love it!

Well, I gotta get going. Gonna try to drink 6 waters today. I made 5 1/2 yesterday which was over 90 oz. I am thinking my weight moves with the water. I just gotta keep that in mind!!!

Oh yeah, AL - I hear you about the hidden carbs. I bought some B-12 lozenges and they have hidden carbs!!! Makes me so mad. Cause I paid a pretty penny for them! I guess I should read a little more closely!!

Hey girlies! Better that the scale not move than to move up!! Darn fillers. Blasted cornstarch.. I could be eating garlic and onions and that would be better than my vitamins!!!

I drank 1 water! I drank 1 water!!! <--- peepee dance

Does anyone take fish oil??? I read lots of good things about it and of course I bought it, but it aggravates me that its added fat. Again, like the onions, I could be eating yummy butter, or do I take my stinky fish oil pills..

Argh! I guess I have to go on the vitamin diet.....yuck! But then I would be thin and dead.

Al you just read my mind! I am taking Omega 3 capsules because I have read how good they are for you, especially if you are dieting - and was wondering if anyone else was doing the same thing.

I should really do better research before diving into the latest trends. I picked up a huge container of pills, only to find I should have bought the liquid and taken it in spoonfuls. I think I need like 7-8 fish oil pills to equal a spoonful of liquid. Im repeating myself here but it gives fishy burps. Hows that omega3 workin for ya??

Well done Nermo! How much in total now?

Al - Omega 3 caps give me fishy burps sometimes not always, but this is when I take more than 2 at a time and do not space them out (take about 6 a day).

Not going #2 for two days is normal. I did this diet a few years ago and didnt go for 11 days. Of course with no fat and no fiber to push it all through (or at least very little of it), I just figured there wasnt enough to go? however, I got so scared at the time that I stopped the diet.

Anyhow, I love the coffee avatar! I couldnt decide if I wanted a waif or a cup of joe too ANyhow....have a great day!

Nermo- Shannon is right. Totally normal. If you want gory details, I go once a week, religiously on Saturday.

Hi Shannon - I love your new avi!! and I have a 5 (son) and 3 (daughter) year old too. They keep me on my toes so I can just imagine whjat its like for you with the baby added to the mix. Stillmans is perfect cause you mustn't even have time to eat!

Goodmorning and yippee another pound gone. That's 5 pounds in 4 days.
Dr. Stillman is the man !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I do have a back ache from shoveling snow yesterday though, so I'm laying off the exercise today to let it feel better.

Mrs N - Congrats 8 lbs in 6 days
And the fresh tuna is perfectly fine. The good doctor himself says fresh is best.
Nermo - Whahoo - I told you we would get you rockin. Hang with us and you'll drop
those pounds. I don't know about the cottage cheese but I have found that
any cheese with zero carbs works. And yes, you won't be pooping everyday and
it's perfectly normal.
Jo - I bet you lose an extra pound after "the curse" is over.
Dustin - More Tuna - you're crazy (I don't care much for the fish myself.)
AL - back to you. You must be in a stall but the Dr. says stick with it and
in a few days things will move again. I'm wondering if you need a refeed. How
many days have you been on Stillman legal straight? And I have one of the
Leslie DVD's and love it. And, yes I take fish oil everyday but I always take it
with meals. It doesn't seem to be slowing my progress. The fish oil help me
with back pain.

Well.......let's all vow to stay strong for another day so we can slim these bodies. oh and I'm starting to feel better in my clothes. 5 pounds really makes a difference.

Nermo - The good Dr. says 4 ounces per day to stay in Ketosis. That's about 1/4 cup. I have personally gotten away with doing 1/2 cup as long as it was lowfat cottage cheese.

I just changed my stats. It feels so good to see the 50's again. I haven't seen that number for about 8 months.

I want to hear more about the refeeds. Can someone direct me to the thread that talks about that?

Hi TL - No refeeds for me. I dont want to ever feel the induction period again! and I dont want to slide down the slippery slope... I dont think Im stalled. I know the culprits. Wine and bacon and more wine since the holidays. Ive been really relaxed with my fats. I was hoping it wouldnt make a difference but IT DOES!!! But, you could be right about the refeed. Im just to afraid to try it!

Nermo - I was wrong. You can have 1/2 cup of cottage cheese each day. I was going on memory, just rechecked, and what can I say....without the carbs my brain is a little fuzzy. Go for the 1/2 cup without guilt. Yummy !!!!

I doubt I shared this with you all, but I guess Ive been doing induction. I bought lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, onions, green pepper, and feta cheese last week; Im the only person in the family who eats the stuff..so Im trying to finish up by Saturday..didnt want it to go to waste! I would NEVER throw out a perfectly good vegetable because Im on a DIET! That seems well..silly That being said, once its gone, Ill just slip into Stillmans like a cozy slipper! Just felt I had to confess. Im in ketosis..havent gone above 10 carbs/day.. However, Ive been computing my all my food online, and ive been between 600-1000 calories this week...so Im in a good ball park for weightloss.

I love reading your weightloss results either daily or weekly or monthly..so encouraging!

Please stick around Shannon!!! You are still having great results!!!! Induction is working great for you!!! If you can lose that quick and eat the cheese and veggies then stick with it! We love that you're here even if you are consuming the evil cucumber.
