HALT - cool I have never ever heard that!!!

I was given one of those starter breads and today was the day to bake it! It smells so heavenly!!! My daughter is eating some now - and she is picky!

But, I made some decaf and put splenda and a sprinkle of cinnamon in it! I am full so it helps! My coffee is YUMMY!! Plus, I am getting ready to take a nice warm shower and maybe even go to bed early so I can stay away from the bread!!

I'm cooking pork sausage. . .I know. .not exactly on plan. but it is a nice break and does give your burger a nice boost of flavor. . I don't put a lot in it. . I think a little bit of fat is essential to keep things moving. .if you catch my drift! hehehe

OK. .we are getting dumped on (snow) right now so I doubt the kids will have school tomorrow. My newly licensed (almost. still in training) teenager and my hubby decided to go out and brave the storm. I hate the thought of them being on the road but I know my boy will have to learn to control the vehicle. I'm crossing my fingers for their safe return. . Did I mention, I absolutely hate winter. Why I live in Michigan is beyond me . .O yeah.. I do like the change in season. . but anything over two days is too long in the winter. .

In case anyone was wondering, I did finally get to pee today :-) I was one happy camper. .problem is. . once I started, I couldn't stop. .I think I lost 10 pounds!! I know TMI. .but see. your day could have been worse! Water purge and no bathroom facilities = one fidety gal!!!

It's report time for me then off to bed and a movie.

Another good day!

B'fast - 1 slice of cheddar cheese
Lunch - 2 eggs fried with butter then patted off with paper towels
snack - a small chunk (2 oz) of very delicious farmer's Cheese
Supper - 1 med chicken thigh pulled apart and covered in my new barbeque recipe of
2 tbsp ketchup, 1 tsp apple cider vinegar, 1 packet of Truvia then broiled
for 5 minutes - yummy !!
Snack - 2 eggs, deviled with mustard, salt, 1 tsp mayo, 1 tsp of relish that I rinsed to
remove most of the sugar.

Water - 7 glasses water, 4 glasses Iced Tea
Exercise - Scooped Minnesota snow for a total of 40 minutes

Crossing my fingers for another good weigh-in in the morning.
You are all terrific. I'm really enjoying our chats and encouragement.
Nermo - Stay true...I'm praying for you !!! You can do this !!!!

See you all in the a.m.

GT a/k/a Cupcake: Where are you? WHat are you doing? Why don't you talk to us? You have to come back to us. . We are starting to get worried about you. First, Al. then Dustin. .now you! What the heck is the world coming to? I hope you are not snowed in or that your computer got stuffed full of cookie crumbs and you are patiently waiting to get it back from the geek squad, or that the power to your building has been shut off so you are holed up in a luxury hotel forgetting all your worries. .or . .worse yet, you decided to take a vacation to some off shore island with only tuna and eggs as company.. just what is the story???

We miss you. . come back. come back. Wahhhhh

IM2 - you are toooooooooo funny. I would have peed and not flushed.

MSgirl - stay away from that bread. I used to make my kids put that stuff in a Tupperware container in their closets so I would be caught if I was going for it. My daughter in her teen years was very good to "bust me" if I went sneaking in her closet for fobidden food when I was dieting. After a while I would forget that the cookies, ding dongs, or what ever the food was, was even in the house. Try that if the bread is too tempting. That Amish sharing bread is really good stuff but FULL OF CARBS that will take you out of ketosis with the snap of your fingers. Run baby Run...........away from that bread. You are so close to goal. You can have it in a couple weeks when that dough raises again.

OR.........go to the kitchen and cut yourself a nice slice of that bread, stick it in a ziploc freezer bag and bury it in the bottom of your freezer. When you get to goal in a couple weeks you can warm it and have it as a celebration. That way you will not miss the bread, you'll just delay your enjoyment of it.

I thought about not flushing. .but believe it or not, the bathroom is a one seater. and I have to share it with all the stupid men in my office. (sorry Dustin!) . .Whoever designed that building was stuipid. . all the other bathrooms are in someone's office. .so its the public unisex bathroom (or the ones in the kids cells!ugg) with wall paper thin walls . . (believe me you can hear everything out in the hall). .and one of the PO's has his office next to it. ..I hate it. . terribly. . and to top it off, I did hear several other people visit it throughout the morning so I guarantee it was no place I wanted to visit. .

O and did I mention, the snow! I wore high heels to work today and did not bring any boots! So not only was my Hiney wet. . so were my feet!!!!! I've had better days!

OK. .its been 45 minutes and my boys still aren't home. .Perhaps I should get out the dog sled and go after them! Darn hubby probably has him doing donuts in the parking lot of Kroger or something. .

I'm having a drink! I am . I really am. . I also have my payroll to do tonight. . won't the guys be happy. .Rum + Timecards + People's Choice Awards Highlights = bonuses!!! No wonder they gave me a big ole bottle of rum for Christmas!

All the bread is safely sealed away out of my reach!

Reporting in for today's meals (just to keep myself accountable)

b - sf jello/lf cottage cheese
sn - lf cottage cheese
l - leftover pork loin roast
sn - lf cottage cheese - 1/2 cup
supper - 3/4 lb of lean ground beef
sn - lf cottage cheese - 1/2 cup

93 oz water, 1 diet coke, 3 coffees

I know too much cottage cheese, but it saved my hide a couple of times!! I seem to be swinging in and out of ketosis. I don't know what the deal is, UGH! I am needing some major appetite control!

Night all!!! Sweet dreams and I double the fat burning sleep for all of my Stillmans buddies!!!

I am down another pound! 8lbs in 7 days...

I was thinking of doing a 4 hour refeed (explained by Slatman in the November thread) this weekend but might postpone it for another week. Does anyone else do refeeds?

I went to bed at 8am last night because I was really tired so am up quite early (3.00am) and am about to embark on some housework.

Just had some scrambled eggs (4) with a few sprays of olive oil.

Will definitely do some exercise today - probably tae-bo.

i have a few questions

can we use garlic and onion to spice our chicken and turkey?

i have been going bland or just using my mustard.

another ? is i drink pepsi max( i am over seas for a year now on work) it has 1 calorie but 0 sugars and 0 fat.

Hello lovelies,
I'll have to check in more often...there are so many posts to get through otherwise.
Have lost another pound this week..so that's 4 since Monday. And I got my period this morning (sorry guys), so am surprised I lost that much, as I usually put on a good few pounds beforehand.
I actually got some energy yesterday to do a bit of rowing. Only managed 10 minutes before it felt my legs were going to fall off though.

It seems everyone is doing so well so far. Have a group hug (mind my breath though).

Good Morning!

Boy, I had to shovel my driveway to get my car out so I can drive to work. There was a big snow drift right at the middle of my driveway. It took me about 30 minutes to get enough of the snow outta of the way and then I "gunned" the car out of the driveway. Nothing like shoveling and having snow get inside my coat to wake me up! Whoo!!!

I bought 4 cans of tuna with me. I'm ready for another day!

Good Morning!!!! I woke up to some snow too! Glad the boys made it home safe IM2!!!!

I am so excited to have all of you here with me on our most successful journey yet! I love hearing your thoughts, encouragement, ideas and Im thankful you guys found this group to settle in. With all of you around, I will get to goal and maintian my perfect weight, without a doubt. Thank you, thank you, my friends!

msgirl- love the new avi! I can almost smell it. Glad you stayed far from the bread! I was always curious how that amish dough really starts off...

Mrs Nadal - You are living proof to all that this thing works!! Keep it up girl!! You are doing great!!!

TLady - You have it down pat! Awesome job! And you are really making me want to check out that delicious cheese. like provolone? really?

nermo- about the onions and garlic... I have to admit I did not use them in the beginning and when I do now, its a litttle bit of powder. You can throw the whole garlic into the dish you are making and push it to the side later. I never eat real onions. I even pluck them out of the onion soup mix because Im crazy. It really depends on how strict you want to be.

azura - another pound down!!! thats great!!! keep it up!!

IM2 - Stop licking the back of your hand!!! I bet a little sausage would be awesome in my ground beef balls...

OK. IM2 and msgirl - I think we're the only 3 that dont exercise. I know its a lot more fun to talk about exercise! I feel jealous and guilty every time I read about pilates, rowing machines, spinning, or anything that has the word mile in it! I told you guys I was gonna check out my Leslie dvds last night. I didnt.

So, I had 2 packages of tuna yesterday and a bowl of beefy garlic soup. (mostly just the stew beef. soup was too salty) 3 bottles of water and grapefruit CL. and coffee. lots of that..

I'll try to beat my 3 bottles of h20 today, but Tealadys 6 may be a little out of reach. Nice job tealady!!!!
