Good Morning!

It's 11:00 am and I'm surviving through the day! I had 2 cups of unsweetened green tea and about 4 cups of good ol' H2O! I am feeling much better and my back does not hurt as much as it used to. I do feel more energy and more clear headed. I really don't think I set myself back too much with my Thanksgiving weekend.

When I go home, that chicken should be ready. I turned on the crock pot this morning at 6:30 am and that piece better be ready because I will be HUNGRY when I go home!

YAY! What a great way to wake up from nap! A NEW thread I took a nap with the baby and my head feels much better after 4 excedrine migrain pills. I'm epilleptic and have a history of migrains but i've been trying to stay away from the rx stuff since I had the baby because I usually take an injection for the migrain and it knocks me out. Obviously a major no no with the baby . Anyway...YAY FOR DECEMBER!!! WOOHOO! Anyone have XMAS goals? My Christmas Eve Goal is 120. That' would be AWESOME!

so glad you feel better Em. Im bent out of shape with a little sinus pressure headache. Im so sorry you have to go through migraines.

I think 127 will be my Christmas goal but Id prefer 120 too!

I'm back!!! Having my turkey(and a lot more than 1ounce!) and mayo cos I'm starving!!!

Didn't let one ounce of choc pass my lips! Looked at all the stalls tho and drooooooled! There's all kinds of flavours-weird ones like pepper, lots of drinking choc,cakes.pralines. and even cinamon and sugar popcorn, (I would love to try that-think it would be weird) the list goes on.....mmmmm!!!!!!!

Glad the migraine's gone Em! My goal is 133 anyway. Would rather 125 but not sure I'll be there by then!! And if I'm totally honest my ultimate goal would be 112-115-but not sure if I'll manage it!! Maybe!!

I'm here.. I'm here. . My goal is to be out of the 150's. .I'm sick of bobbing around here! I would love to be 145 but that's 9 pounds away. . not likely for me - however, I did re-read the stickies and have recommitted to the STillman's way. . I am going to try some cottage cheese and up my water.. It would certainly be an ice Christmas surprise!

Em: I'm a migraine sufferer myself so I can totally relate. I've never been brave enough to try the RX but I'm getting close. I especially hate the occular ones.. I've been stranded before because I can't drive with them.. Us girls have all the luck, don't we?

Thanks for the nice words about my headaches! I've had them since I was 10 and started giving myself injections then. They make this plastic pen looking thing that you put the syringe in and then just put it against your leg and push the button. It's really not bad and all and it knocks you out and then you wake up 30 minutes later feeling like a new person! I just never seem to get them when it's convenient (like hubby is here to watch the kids).
I'm trying to find the hubbs a gas grill for xmas and I found a great stainless steele one on craigslist. They were asking 200 but I offered to give them 140 next week. They said they'll take 140 THIS week. I can't do that so I'm hoping that they either say okay or when next week rolls around they still haven't sold it . Grilled chicken from the grill would be a nice change of pace!

Migraines since you were 10 Em--you poor thing. I only ever had one-was in the week before my Leaving Certificate(last exams of high-school-don't know what you call them!) It was just awful-especially not been able to see.

I hope your grill doesn't sell-serve him right for being greedy!

Em - I knew you would be back down!!! You have lost again - girl that is 8 lbs in what 7 days? You and I started around the same time didn't we? So sorry about those headaches! Headaches are miserable and I have only had a couple migraines in my life - what is weird is that throwing up relieves the pressure for me!

AL - My mother in law makes a mean brisket and all she does is put in the oven overnight on 200 - it falls apart! Sometimes she pours beef broth on top of it. All she does is wrap it super tight in foil - YUMMY!

Welcome Lora - by the look of your posts you know this site quite well!

Dustin - i bet that chicken is gonna be yummy!

I have some chicken myself that I made last night - left in the oven on 400 for 40-45 minutes sprinkled with Tony's seasoning. It was sooooo good! But, I only ate a small piece of it cuz I was kind of full last night. 6:30 can't get here too soon - I am gonna indulge!

Oh and my Christmas eve goal is ----138! That's only 7.8 lbs in 23 days - and roughly 3 lbs a week. I wonder if I am pushing it????

Al - It is usually 8 hours depending on the size.

Thanks for the encouragement about my goal - I just didn't want to shoot to high and then be aggravated for not accomplishing it. But, surely....I can!!!
