Beth - I just calculated yesterday's calories in ****** and it looks like I stay between 900-1000 calories. That is probably average, some days I go down some days maybe 100 up. Do you know about how many calories you are getting in when you are on Stillman's?

(Edited to add - I have not weighed yet today but this week I feel like I have lost pretty well. If I add in the 5 lb gain from Thanksgiving (which I didn't on my siggy) Then I have lost over 7lbs since Black Friday I eat the same things almost everyday...but then AL is our resident expert!)

I am no expert!! I would say yes only if I lose 5 in a week!

Do you add up the calories for the spices and stuff..I didnt do that.. just the meat. I really dont like using ******..

AL - good pt. I didn't add in the spices and stuff - they are so minimal (I think:blush

Anyway - I use them pretty sparingly and most of what I use has no calories.

I weighed in...and I am down .2 lbs. I know that isn't that much but I love my digital scale because even if I see a small tenth of a pound loss it is encouraging. With me being at 143 for several days I could get discouraged before. But, with my digital scale I can see that I go down even if it is .2 lbs a day!

I know I am way to nuerotic~~

THanks my dear friends for your support. God, this really sucks! But, God is good and still on the throne. I know He will protect and care for me.

I'm totally back to my Stillmans. Only did the FF for 3 meals. Boy, I have such respect for GT for doing it as long as she did. Hate it!

Ms. you go girl! Isn't it so fun! One week I lost like 7 lbs. It was right after TOM and when I lost the protein shakes. My body was like, yeah! I'm letting go...

I'm just so excited that my jeans are totally fitting me. I haven't worn these puppys for over 2 yrs. I will never be fat again. Now I just want to get to 130 or less and get toned. I may get a Tummy Tuck when I hit the lotto as well. My pregnancy killed my body. I'm a walking streach mark...

We are going to be so skinny by the end of the yr. Just think, we'll all be at goal way before Summer. Lets rush to get the Bikini shot in. It will be so much fun

I can't imagine that too much water would be too bad. I mean 7 bottles isn't really overkill. Now I am sure if you drink somewhere around 10 you might have some issues. Do you find the more you drink the more often you have to visit the restroom? I feel like I should just move my bed and my desk in there since I am there so much

I am finishing my 6th bottle and only because I was so busy working around the house today.

I am so pumped! I cleaned out both kids rooms (closets, drawers, and all), did some work for the church, wrapped presents cleaned the kitchen, and did laundry!!! I was just not very hungry and had to make myself stop to fix my hubby and daughter something to eat!

I did have bacon today though so my menu was:

Bacon ( i know it was too much fat)!
baked chicken breast
small bowl of lf cottage cheese

That's it folks! Goodnight!!!

Good Morning!!! Hope everyone has a great day!

Beth - My calories for yesterday were 1091. Another tuna and brisket day... Thankfully its all gone now.

There may be something to the extra fat though. Down another pound today. (133.0 - 132.0) Then again, it could've been all the water. What were your results after the bacon, msgirl? Hopefully a good one!!!

about my water drinking.... I cant sip it. I have to guzzle the whole thing down with a couple breaths in between. Everytime, i had to use the restroom the past few days, I drank another one before I went. This will prove to be very hard with all the xmas shopping I have to do this week....

Good morning everyone!

It's Sunday! I had a small lapse last night, but I'm still on the horse! I tried on my 44 pants this morning and it fits me pretty good! Yesterday, I have to keep hitching up my 46 pants so I won't be showing my "crack" to the world. I'm not a plumber, for pete's sake!

Overall, I feel pretty positive. I do experience some slight muscle weakness and muscle cramps. Does anyone have any advice for this? I am taking a multivitamin every day, but I must be needing some extra mineral to help me with my muscle cramps. It bothered me a little bit yesterday.

Good MOrning!

What a wonderful Sunday Morning. I feel like such a loser. .hhehe. ..really, MS. .how great you got so much accomplished yesterday. I thought I would save time a shop from home . .it ended up eating most of my day. I should have braved the mall and got some exercise in. sheeshhh

Dutin: I'll do a little research on the leg cramps. I read on previous boards (when I was a lurker) that others were having issues. There is a supplement yuou can take but I don't know which one. I'll see what I can find. .always good to know stuff. O. .and about the crack . . you need to go get yourself some stylish boxers and enjoy. hehehe

Al: Water, water. gotta love water. I hate to tell you . .I was cleaning out one of my spice cabinets and came across a bunch of crystal light and immediately had to snicker! I drink it now and again but I found I had to hide if from my boys. . looks like I hid it well.

OK.. I'm cooking a ham for dinner for the boys today. My program says nothing smoked (wonder why?? salt?? IDK). . or nothing pickled. .so I guess a huge plate O Ham is out of the question! Tuna and Chicken. .I miss you so.

Thanks IM. I just looked through the Atkins book and I could not find the part when he told what to take for muscle cramps. If you find out, please reply!

I'm making another chicken breast in the crock pot. I found Tony's last night and I sprinkled a generous amount on my breast. I hope it will be better than using bouillon cubes.

dust: Here's what I found! I take all of them

If the diet is working too quickly, some people, especially early on, will get such a strong diuretic effect from the diet that they will need to supplement minerals. If leg cramps occur, potassium, magnesium and calcium may be needed and sometimes vitamin E before bedtime will stop nighttime leg cramps. Most of our patients do not run into this problem. I think it is because they are usually well supplemented. Another time this may happen is if people are large milk drinkers and they go on the diet which obviously does not allow milk. They will need to supplement with additional calcium because their calcium intake was so high due to their milk intake.

Question:
So for people with leg cramps....how much should they take of potassium? Or should they just use Vitamin E?

NUTRITIONIST:
The amount of potassium available in health food store supplements can safely be taken in addition. Sunflower seeds are a good source, but be careful of the amount as there are 4 grams of carbohydrates per ounce. Minimum vitamin E dose is usually 1 capsule 400 units at bedtime. If the leg cramps occur at bedtime, the E should be taken at bedtime

Okay...so I know you guys knew this was coming but I had to weigh myself as I could not stand it and now the scale says i'm HEAVIER than I was when I STARTED this diet. This makes me want to go put on my pj's, eat some oreo's, and watch some reality tv.

Em - How horrible that you were in the hospital! Im so glad you are on the mend. I know its hard, but forget the scale right now. You need to focus on getting better. Those pounds will come off quick once your back on schedule. Plus, you weighed yourself in the middle of the day. (shaking finger..no!) Its not as bad as you think it is. Dont touch those cookies...

IM2 - I found ham that has no additives( for the next time). 100% ham. No sugar!!! The brand is KRAKUS. Its in a big can in the meats section. Its expensive though. $20 - 3 lbs.

Well I finished water bottle #5, but now Im relaxin with my ice coffee...yum.

OMG, Al. .I never thought to check the carb count on the dressing.. If truth be told. .the full fat flavor has less carbs.. It looks as though the FF has 3 carbs and the full fat has only 1.8. . Whatever!!!! but hten again. how much are you really consuming when I dump half down the drain? Just wondering? Of course, If I must. I'll give it up, lik everything else. but come on. . Its only 15 calories per serving. .I think I lose that just drooling over food??

OK. .I'm off my soap box but who knew? Thanks for bring me back to reality, Al.. back to boring ole bland chicken for me!!!

Did you guys notice it is 12:55 and I'm still up. . What is wrong with me. .

Hey IM2 - I was totally just wondering for me. Its still hardly anything once you pull the meat out. No biggie. SInce Im saving so many carbs without my crystal light, I may just try it! Wonder what Stillman would say about whats worse.. fat or carbs... Doesnt it get so confusing after all these years...sigh.

Hi Lora!! Which plan are you following... Can I convince you to just do meat with me?

Thanks Aleria I'm down 4 pounds from yesterday so hopefully it'll all go away soon . I'm eating all meat because i'm SO over eggs and tuna so just 99/1 lean ground turkey breast and boneless skinless chicken breast for me. Oh..and water. What kind of crystal light were you drinking with carbs?
