Great job on the water AL - keep up the good work!

That alternating fruit/veggie/QWL looks interesting. If anyone decides to try it and is successful let me know! Maybe it would be good for maintenance?

OK.... Just skipping through my other Stillman Book - The Doctor's Quick Inches Off Diet. In it, he has a newer version of QWL... It includes the jello! One or two servings per day without any toppings.

Dude! Get me to the wine and cheese diet, STAT! OMG, that would be wondrful. I think I'll just do that for mnts. Who's with me? I say eat around 8oo cals in cheese and 800-1000 in wine and other spirits. We will def lose wt. as our livers will fall out!

OKAY! Almost done with day one. How weird does this feel? I was kinda hungry then kinda not. Ate every 3 hours then had to wait a bit for my body not to be be hungry anymore! But, the small fat morsals sustained me for 3 hrs.

Man, if this works, I will be a goal in 10 days. THis is too good to be true! I don't think I can last that long but will give it 5 days at least.

Golly, I really hate finding a new job. It's like a silly dance... But, I'm feeling on my game and look pretty good, thank God.

GT! a bit of chocolate isn't a deal breaker, just get back on the trail, girlie, girl!

IM, I really hate when my husband eats my food. As if he couldn't eat a billion other things, and does on an hourly basis. He can eat, y'all! Nail that pork down!

SF Jello has virtually no calories. plus I think you'll burn more making it. . I always wondered why it wasn't included. .Even when you go to the DR for something serious. .you are allowed Jello for crying out loud!!!

OK Peeps!! I'm very, very mad at myself. I was all set to get this 14 day shape up underway and get the last of this flabby stuff off!!! Guess what I did? Not chocolate but the next best thing. . My son had a concert tonight (Jazz) out of town so we had to leave right after work..No time for dinner or leftover pork or anything! Anyway, we get to the theater (which, by the way was beautiful - very old and preserved. .I loved it!!) and what do they have as soon as you walk in. POPCORN> . My all time weakness, my krypotonite. .my downfall. . I seriously had an addiction before starting low carb. . I would eat it for breakfast.. I would eat it for lunch. . I would snack and skip dinner to have my daily fix - light of course.. but still ..!! I did fine for the first half of the concert as I watched my other boys munch away..of course .just two kernals won't hurt. . ok. one handful. .Uggg. .before I knew it. .I had the whole darn thing on my lap and was slapping away the tiny hands reaching into it. .Mine. .all mine!!! !!! UUUgggggg. .Ugg. .and double uggg. . . I could just spit!!! After eating grean beans for lunch I'm still angry..

Just for that. .I'm having a rum and diet coke!!! Tomorrow is a new day and I will see to it that I do something positive. Besides. .I got my brand new .99 jeans in the mail from Ebay today.. They are the absolute cutest ever and they fit perfectly. Now if I could only find 2 or 3 more especially for .99!!!

Here you guys are debating the Jello and I devoured the equiv. of 3 Big Macs!

msgirl - I agree with IM2. We probably should have used it from the get go. It has to be better than Crystal Light.

Speaking of Crystal Light, I broke free yesterday from its chains. Didnt have a sip and got down 6 bottles of water. woohoo h2o!

(I absentmindedly put a sweet*low in my coffee last night, but what the heck, its allowed.)

Tomorrow is the start of a new week for me. I'll be posting Week 19's results! Cant wait!

I ate tuna and roast beef yesterday. Trimmed off all the fat.
Today will be the same. Thought twice about freezing it. Just didnt think it would reheat well without any gravy. But I will stay away from the brisket!

Do you guys eat breakfast? On my work days, I eat twice a day, but when Im home, I tend to eat a little here and there throughout the day. No real set schedule, but I like to have a decent sized portion for dinner. But never breakfast. I cant even think about meat in the morning....

IT'S FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!

Al - congrats on the 6 bottles of water - I know it helps me!!!

GT - I always have brekkie on Stillman's as well - even if it's just a cup of cottage cheese - I can't seem to function clearly early in the morning without something!

IM - Maybe that crash of popcorn will make you see a great loss in a few days - maybe just maybe you tricked your body! I love the poem by the way!!

EM - Please tell us you are feeling better!

I weighed this a.m. and I am up .2 lbs. Not gonna sweat it - it is a small amount. I have been on a losing streak and so, since it's so little I am not even gonna change my stats! I am thinking my calories were to low yesterday and that's probably the culprit. I have got to find a balance somewhere.....

Plus, TOM is only 4-5 days away and I know my body is getting ready to hold on to some water! I hate being such a sponge!! But, today is gonna be a good water day and lean day for me!!

By Sunday I want to be at least 141

I am crazy...too much cold meds I guess!

I just looked at my stats and I am actually down .4 lbs! I was 143.4 this morning and yesterday it was 143.8!

I clearly need more coffee!!

No big surprise. .I'm up today!! But. .I am wearing my jeans to work. . (with a belt, I might add) and I am going to dinner tonight with some friends! I've printed the menu and decided that they have a wonderful sounding talapia, which I will be ordering along with a salad. .no dressing! I'll take anything else home to my kids. No Cheatin! Promise. .
I'm already floating ways and its only after 9:00!!! I need to purge some of the popcorn salt from my system. . Yippee, skippeee. .

O. and yes, Al . I always eat breakfast. . never used to but I found that I do much better sticking to program when I eat. .Usually just a pouched or boiled egg but enough to get my vitamins and all the other supplements in (says to take with a meal.. ). I think the Coconut Oil is working, too! My hair and skin have been better if nothing else!!

Hey everyone...just checking in. Still sick 103 temp. Blah. I had some things I shouldn't have yesterday but my hubby made me food since I was sick and I just couldn't tell him no...plus I enjoyed it . I'm not going to weigh myself for a couple days because I know it can't be great but I'm sticking to the diet today. I'll be back tomorrow! Good job everybody!!

maybe thats why Im always forgetting my vitamins. I take them at night with dinner..

How much coconut oil are you taking? Its been a few weeks hasnt it?

OMG! The FF, SUCKS! The hunger killed me at around 5 pm. I was so hungry and all of a sudden exhausted. I was like, no way for me! I'll take another month to get to goal over that! I caved for my last meal and had 4 oz turkey breast and half a can of tuna! NO FAT at that meal. Man, how do people do that? That's torture for sure. GT, I have a way new found respect for you that you did that like 10 days! I think if I would ever do that again, I'd have to have an appetitie suppressant. That was a trip and I'm in ketosis too!

Okay, enough of that! You get the pt. I do feel smaller though, that's a good thing.

So, I'm back to the usuall, turkey, tuna, egg whites mustard. YUM

I have a question, do any of you swell up in your ankles and belly when you drink alcohol? This happened to me over Tgiving. I think it's candida or something? I'm startting to take my Probiotics again as I know I'm very low on them due to all this meat and no veggies. I was also finishing up TOM during that time as well. It was really bad! I had kancles for like 3 days.

Feel better Em! IM get back jack! I love the corn as well. Heck I love any food other than turkey!

Sorry the FF didnt work out. I wouldnt be able to do it either. Maybe I could with all the feedings in one shot. But all those mayo bites throughout the day would drive me crazy.... welcome back to Stillmans Bethy! (I have no knowledge of alcohol and swelling- sorry, wish I could help)

Okay...I should be in bed but I had to weigh myself and i'm up 5 pounds!!!!!!! One day of cheating cant really make you gain 5 pounds can it? If so then as soon as I stop eating stillmans i'll just gain it all back. Crazy. I didn't drink my water yesterday at all either though. Time to start drinking.....

I'm wondering... Stillman wants us to count calories after we get to our ideal weight.... He's suggesting, our current weight will stay the same. So, if we have a cheat day, it would make sense to eat other foods, but stay within our calorie range, right? We'll have to put this to the test. Perhaps Christmas. Although, what real goodies can I eat for only 1200 calories..why couldnt I be 6 feet tall!


I'll post his idea of ideal weight and calories, in case anyone is interested: (Dustin, if you want to know yours, tell me your height) He admits they are low, according to the average table.
