Hi Beth! I'm no expert! I only did it once before---that time with the nuts---I then swapped to eggs and tuna! I don't know how much weight I lost(I did not like the scales) but I did loose inches and clothes got looser--something I have to say I'm not particularly noticing this time! I wouldn't say I gained it back because I went back to Stills.straight away-and didn't gain inches. I still think eating all that fat can't be good for a long time so I prefer Stills.

This time I don't know-time will tell!!!! I don't think I'll gain it back tho, or if I gain a bit it will be water cos as I say Mum is coming so I will have to eat salad. I use the bodyfat scales too and the fat % has gone down so...

The only thing I'll say about is tho I was so hungry---which is weird cos if you read Atkins he says it puts you into deep ketosis.....

I intend to go back to it on Tuesday for about a week again. Glutton for punishment!!

Okay Al - I am certain the water has something major to do with the fat loss!!!

Like I have said before in my posts when I was my thinnest over 6 years ago - I drank at least a gallon of water a day - no kidding!!

Now, on Stillmans I try to get in over 100 oz daily. That is 6 of those 16.9 water bottles. I make it my job to finish off 6 a day!!!

Just finished my tuna - kind burn out on it long ago but I had some of that water packaged stuff and wanted to get rid of it.

Put several chicken breasts in the crock pot and seasoned with Tony's. Gonna be ready when I get home from work! Gotta make enough for my 8 year old too - she is a MEAT eater!!! Everytime I have something - she'll say, "mommy can I have some of your meat?" I can't help but share - but boy is it hard!!!

I'll match your 6 msgirl!!!

Im having a tuna day too! I pigged out on brisket and beef yesterday and I think I'll freeze the rest of it. My 3 year old loves meat too. She cant get enough. My son, on the other hand wont go near it until its nuggets or meatballs.

Im going to stay 100% QWL. Lets see if the good doctor is right. If he is I'll have 5 pounds gone by next Thursday..

Thanks GT!

If you are eating only the 1 oz.of turkey and 2 tsp of mayo, you are supposed to have .24 of an avocado with that as welll. That's what Atkins says to do! Maybe you arn't eating enough fat? Make sure to re read the notes of it on the Atkins sight! Or up your mayo to 1 Tbs. to get all that yummy fat in!

Man, I couldn't believe how much fun eating 2 oz. of cheese was! I relished every morsal!

Have fun with your Muml! My mum's family is from County Carey. Or is it Karey? And, my great great was from Carolton. He signed the Declaration of Independence. Charles Carol of Carolton. I'm royalty!

OK. .I'm with you on the Tuna! I had my lunch all carefully packed away in my Hello Kitty Lunchbox and was dreaming about the soy pork and grean beans I was going to enjoy at lunch. Lo and Behold.. I got all ready.. Imagine my surprise when I open the container and only had beans in it!!!! Someone (a hubby who shall remain nameless!!) ate my Pork!!! OMG. .I could just kick him. . He eats everything unless I personalize it first. . I guess its time to crack out the pink bowls. . so here I sit with pack-o-tuna for lunch again. . Shhhessshhh. . Mmmm. I mean

AL - Cool - We can be water twins! I make myself drink mine before I have any of my favorite drinks - like water or the occasional Diet Coke. But, the DC might just have to go

IM - I am with you!!! No fair on ppl eating our stuff!!! Good thing we love them!! I come home sometimes and my boiled eggs have diminished??? Hubby loves them for a snack evidently!

I would love that soy pork recipe - maybe I need to research if you guys don't have it handy for me

Happy water drinking everyone!!!

Soy Pork a la IM2:

"When I do soy pork, I will sometimes layer a bed of onion slices on the bottom, pork and then top with green pepper and celery. MMmmm. of course, we don't eat the veggies but they do add some wonderful flavor. .I will dilute the soy sauce with broth or water. . Works well with beef."

So my QWL Book has over 50 pages of diets. Some were already mentioned on previous threads and most are really low-calorie, "semi-starvation" diets. There was one that I thought should be mentioned...

The Bread-Cheese-Wine Diet (minus the bread of course)

GT: its not the same one.

Here's another diet that I find interesting....

Quick Loss Fruit and Vegetable Alternating Diet

stillman says...This series of alternating quick loss diets works extremely well in reducing many patients who are overweight and others who want to lose 10 to 20 pounds:

1st week: QWL
2nd week: Fruit Only Diet
3rd week: QWL
4th week: All Vegetable Diet
5th week: QWL
6th week: Vegetable and Fruit Mix Diet
7th week: QWL
8th week: Fruit Only Diet
