Hi MS! Congrats on the loss!! Dunno what I'll do after the FF! Still on it today... but tomorrow my Mum is coming to visit til Monday. Which is great cos I love my Mum...but no so great with the diet....I know I won't be able to do Stills. pure(I have always told her that I eat veggies with it!) So I'll prob. do something like IM2s 14 day thing but I'll try to keep it to just protein and salad.. At any rate no carbs from bread or anything.......well maybe one thing from the choc. market but that's it!

Yeah with all the promises that Still makes-and Atkins or any other low carb-when you ad it up the weight loss is still slow enough--especially over a long time. Mine works out at only about 2 a week.....go figure!!!!

"After you've been on the QWL Diet for some time and taken off more than 30 pounds, you may add moderate portions of artificially sweetened gelatin, plain yogurt, and skim milk. However, you will lose faster if you dont add these foods."

My head is buried deep in this book now... I'll update as I go along... I realize now that I have been cheating through this all the way. The Crystal Light has to go. Period. The gum has to go. Period. The 80 oz. of plain water must be consumed. Period.

I knew this all along but having the book in my hands is motivating me.

Already drank 2 bottles of water and no gum!

IM, is it the Atkin's FF? Where is the post, on the last thread. I seem to remember it there? I want to try it for a few days as well. Man, 8 in 8 is insane. Bet you were doing the happy dance every day for sure.

"If you should take sugars and carbohydrates, here is why it would cut down radically the effectiveness of the Quick Weight Loss Diet. Each gram of carbs you ingest substitutes for the burning up of 1 to 2 grams of your body fat, equiv. to 9 or 18 calories. If carbs are taken in, the body ignores using its fat and uses the carb only. Thus the fat, instead of being burned up, is stored in you fat depots."

Funny. .the 14 day plan allows for this? Wonder what the deal is. . perhaps it is because he insists on the exercise or perhaps he tweaked it a bit! At any rate, I'll let you know my 14 day results. Probably won't be too high considering I lose extremely slow!!

I know what you are saying. . I used to lose that much doing WW and was able to eat pretty much anything. . O Well. .All this dieting has really messed me up. .i think for life!!! I'll keep plugging away. .away. .away..

OMG! I've died and gone to heaven! I'm eating 2 oz. of cheese as we speak! My taste buds are going crazy!

Did the research about the FF and I think I can hang with it for at least 5 days! I don't know how much I weigh right now as I'm banning the scale but after a week I will weigh. Hoping to reach goal by then, will see! 130 here I come!

Here's the plan:

2 oz. of brie or full fat cr. cheese

1 oz. Mac nuts

1 oz. of ckn or turkey with 2 tsp. mayo

2 T sugar free peanut butter

2 deviled eggs with 2 tsp. mayo

or 2 egg yokes, with 1 Tbsp mayo

I'm going to interchange all of these. Mostly the cheese and nuts I think as I haven't had these for like ever!

I'm kinda scared! What if I gain? I know I'm crazy, right!

Hey Al! OMG! If you think you've been cheating all this time, well I can't wait to see what happens when you ditch the CL and such! You'll whither away in a week!

Stillman has a way with words. Doesnt care who's feelings hes hurting. Puts it real blunt. I do much better when Im yelled at..

another bottle of water down...it makes me more thirsty though....

Ah, if feels so cleanly to be washing away all my ash fat....

Hi Beth! Hope the job hunting goes well!
I HATE the mac. nuts!!! The last time I did the FF I read that they were the best food to it--so being the good girl I am...I went out and bought a big bag.....OMG after 3 days I seriously coul'dn't take it any longer....they were so dry and I just kept chewing and chewing....oh yuk! It was horrible!!!

Oh bet he says no tea!!!!! I always drink a lot of tea(with teeny bit of milk) Naughty me!! I do drink loads of water too tho cos as I said I remembered that-At the time I thought it was pretty gross!!(I still do!) I drink about 3 litres a day-depends-drink a lot of that in the evening tho!

Hey GT! How long are you going to do it?

How does it look if I eat this?

2 oz of cheese

I think I weigh around 139 ish currently. I know it's kinda weird that I'm not weighing, I just needed a break, like a month of not stepping on that sucker. I will weigh in a week though!

I won't gain doing this will I? OMG! That would suck!

GT! How much did you lose the other times you did it and did you keep it off? Will we gain it all back when we return to regular Stillmans? Give me the dirt!

Also, what do you think about natural peanut butter? Some peeps ate 2 T in place of the other as a meal. It's almost the same fat and just 1 more carbs than mayo or cr. cheese?
