Dustin!!! You're the best!! So cool for you to join the fun! Now thats spirit!

Dont worry too much about the weight fluctuations. You're already being positive by planning to keep it clean during the week. Stillmans is a huge lifestyle change and Im sure its tough, if not seemingly impossible, to be starting off now, at holiday time. Try to stick with healthy choices at the parties and strict eating during the week. This, in essence, would hopefully level out and prevent any gains.

Heres to boiled eggs and h2o!!!!

ms G - sorry about getting your feelings hurt. Dont take it personal though. Im sure hubby doesnt understand how tough its been on you cause he never went through the emotions of weight gain/weight loss. I have an idea! Maybe they can get takeout and bring it back to the house so yuo can all eat together! Or better yet, order a big juicy steak. They must have non marinated steak at the restaurant. Call ahead and and ask!! Dont miss out on family time!!

Thanks AL - He really is an amazing husband and father. He just thinks I should eat things in moderation....I can't though I am an all or nothing girl! At least until i reach my goal - then I may allow some freedom from time to time.

I am ok now. Just needed to share with people that would understand. We are gonna go tonight and I am gonna get me a steak and give the sides to my son. It will be fun to be with both of them anyway

MS! Just call it Male PMS. .I really think they get that somedays! I am sure he really meant.. .I just wish you didn't have to struggle so much and I support you but I feel bad for you!! I have the worlds greatest husband too.. but I've been terrible and mean to him all week. .They understand. .it was actually quite nice of him to suggest going later. . .

Brush it off and be thankful he wants to spend time with you. I know. .easy to say. . .Smile this afternoon and pretty soon it'll rub off.. you can't stay mad/sad with a smile on your face!

IM2 - I havent been to the doctor since my kids were born either! I hate hate hate it. Im really wishing now that I could compare pre-diet bloodwork with after-diet bloodwork.

Im planning to go for a regular checkup after the holidays. Actually, I was gonna sign myself up for a colonoscopy to make sure my insides are good after all this meat. (12/25 marks 6-months for me) I feel fine but hubby says, were lucky to have insurance so we should take advantage and use it.

Dont put off til tomorrow what we can do today, or so the saying goes. We should all go for checkups to catch something bad before it starts. We should all make this our new years resolution.

I went to the Dr. once since my kids were born. .That was the last time I resolved to lose this weight.. never went back and didn't follow up on any of my tests.. I'm thinking if they were bad, I would have known by now. . I realize, though, that I want to stay around longer for my kids and I want to be able to keep up with them. I have two teenagers and two in el school right now so its a struggle running them here and there.. Eating on the go was so much easier but equated to more poundage at the scale. .

So. right after New Years. . we call the Dr. .K? (Hubby has to go for his colonosopy this year, too.. he'll go . after I hound him,..). . So, I'm gonna bug him and he'll bug me and I'll bug you!! heheh

So... if you dont want to spend a lot of cash, I would go with London Broil. This one needs to be slow cooked i my opinion. Very tough on the grill

As of tomorrow I'm back on Stillmans. I can't stick the hunger!!!! I've just had a big turkey breast and it's 22:30. I was starving! Tried filling up on tea and water but no good!!!!! Now I'm all full and satisfied.................until the scale in the morning!!

Ms G: Also wanted to add that sirloin is listed as a lean meat, but anytime Ive ordered it there was grizzle everywhere. (more around the outside edges)
