Oh...I'm SO EXCITED to be around tomorrow for the start of the december thread! I'll feel like a vet The scale at my house I always weigh on is now saying i'm up 7 pounds...almost to the weight I started but my clothes are still loose and I can tell I didn't gain it all back so maybe it's water weight. On a happier note I went to the Dr. with my son and he wouldn't stand on the scale alone so I had to stand with him and then stand alone so they could subtract it and it said 130!

I also made some fake deviled eggs. I think I ate too many. No more for me for awhile! Yuck.

I called hubby at work and was explaining about my new jeans, the diet, how I really need an exercise bike, and my flabby skin, etc. I was kinda excited and rambling on...well, he cut me off and said "thats all great but I am working on somethin here".... I smiled through the phone, and said "Oh sorry, I'll go talk to my online friends instead"

So just another quick thank you for always listening to me. HUGS!!!!

Aleria- I hear you. My hubby is at work and I try to tell him about my progress and he's like "uh huh well this is really important have to go!" He kept trying to get me to eat all weekend. He's not wanting me to not lose weight but he can't comprehend that I can actually enjoy myself without eating all the junk.

Well you're doing better than I am. I've done ZERO excersize. In 3 days. Lugging around my 2 year old has to count for something though. I found out today that he is off the charts percentile wise for height and weight and is the size of an average 4 1/2 year old. They think he'll be around 6'4". This thrills my husband who is pretty sure he's going to play for the Cowboys and makes me dread cooking for him, my hubby, and my other little one in about 10 years. Then dieting will be easy because they'll eat all the food before I can! Another down side is that he looks four so people talk to him like he is 4 and he says something really great back like "Me want barnana and rainy bubbles" which translated means " I want a banana and a bath' Then they give me that sympathetic look like he must be 'special' and shake their heads.

GT: A Pink Georgie! OMG! I've never seen one. . I thought you were cyberspying on me. .I just ordered a pink laptop online!! I've found with 5 men in the house.. pink is the only safe color to buy. My camera, my cell phone and now my laptop. .otherwise, my stuff grows legs and walks away. .This way, the teenagers wouldn't be caught dead with my stuff. .hehehe (I used to hate pink. .Black was the only color!)

Nice pic, Em: I'm still not quite ready for pictures. . I haven't had mine taken in years and years. . I should play around with my pink camera. .heehehee And, yes.. they will eat you out of house and home! I can't even keep them from eating "my food". .I literally have to label stuff in the refrigerator or it disappears!

I agree. . Where is everyone!! Slat? Silly?

IM2: That's a great idea! I'll have to start buying pink. I took that picture with my camera when downloading some of the boys. I HATE having my picture taken and haven't had it taken at a studio since high school.

I really wanted to ask everyone a serious question... Can I really have cocktail sauce? I had a little bit when I was eating my shrimp for dinner. The ingredients lists horseradish sauce which is on the list of allow foods. But it have a little bit of sugar and it is last on the ingredient list. That small dab of cocktail sauce won't kill me, right? Right?

Dustin: Check the carb count on the label. .That should give you an idea of what a safe amount is to eat. Stillman's allow ketchup although it has sugar. I use the low carb/low sugar variety but my hubby has been known to use hot sauce and horseradish, too . He has much better results than me! I would say, a serving will not hurt you. . Perhaps others have thoughts? Anyone?

GT: If truth be told. . I also have a tiny bit of Hello Kitty Fever, too! I have a lamp and alarm clock. .and just had to have the humidifier - the kids think the Hello Kitty toast is taking it a bit far.. .!!! Hehehe. . We girls have to stick together! I, too, have the pink kitchen utensils, measuring cups, scale and can opener! Studies show, pink is a very calming color!

AL: When I do soy pork, I will sometimes layer a bed of onion slices on the bottom, pork and then top with green pepper and celery. MMmmm. of course, we don't eat the veggies but they do add some wonderful flavor. .I will dilute the soy sauce with broth or water. . Works well with beef. I might have to make some. . Too bad I didn't have a pink slow cooker!!! Next on my list. .

Who is going to start the December thread? What should we call it? something catchy and inspiring so we can lure new victims into our fold. bahahahaha

It's very small amount.... I believe the amount I used will fit on a large tablespoon. It helped to flavor my shrimp.

I think I will prepare a chicken breast tomorrow morning for my crock pot. Will salt and pepper be enough to flavor it?

Salt and pepper would be good. . but you may want to add a little broth (or boullion w/water) to it if you are going to be away for awhile. Chicken tends to dry out much faster than some of the other meats because of the low fat content. You can also use fat free Zesty Italian for marinade. .soak overnight and throw all in slow cooker in the morning. .(mmm. .that's also good)
